This was an amazing tour with lots packed in a day and worth the while and money! Eduardo our guide made it so enjoyable and entertaining. He was very informative as well, as far as details of the place and the history is concerned. The lunch and wine tasting experience was also delightful. Over all a great experience. Would recommend this anytime! PS: just don't do this in the summer. The heat is terrible!

Let me start by saying Flavio was a terrific guide and Cesare was an excellent driver! Flavio provided us with great info throughout and repeated it for those who may not have heard him the first time. If your goal is to really see a lot of Pompeii and Sorrento, you will want to try tours that spend more time at each instead of both in the same day from Rome. For us, it was a good introduction to these sites as we plan on returning in the future. We appreciate the history of these places and Italy as a whole. Can’t wait to return!

Engaging and informative tour

Federico was our tour guide and he was passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging. I planned this tour last minute and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The tour takes you outside the city and away from the crowds. We learned quite a bit of history along the way and were able to imagine how Rome looked with his descriptions coupled with images he provided. We moved around in a bus with AC, so we were grateful for that. The catacombs were fascinating and a nice relief from the heat above. I reached out to the company with a question and they were prompt with their response. Totally worth it and highly recommend!

Great Tour of Vatican

I had a wonderful tour of the Vatican, the Sistine chapel and Saint Peter‘s Basilica and it all went very smoothly very fast and I enjoyed the experience. I had compared the pricing to other tour companies and while this ticket was a little bit more expensive I felt more assured there would be less hiccups, and that was true. Tour guide was great spoke great English and was friendly. Bring a water bottle with you when you come.

Mash was the HIGHLIGHT of our Rome trip!

We had the most amazing and excellent time with Mash, our fantastic guide on the Rome By Cart golf cart tour. I highly recommend this tour as there is no way you could possibly see this many sites in three hours and our guide’s knowledge of secret viewpoints was amazing! He was funny and made an effort to connect to everyone in our group, including my shy young son and ensured that everyone was having a fun time! Also he made time for us to stop for gelato, cappuccinos and tiramisu taking us to the places that he thought was best in Bella Roma which we never would have found on our own! Mash was the absolute highlight of our trip and we will remember him and Rome forever! Do not hesitate to book this tour! We loved it! Thank you Mash and Rome by Cart tours!

Well organized tour

We happened to schedule our tour during a heat wave with temps reaching over 100. Our tour guide, Roberto, was interesting, charming, accommodating, and made the best a very hot tour. We had a long wait in the hot sun to get into Palestine Hill. The colosseum talk went very slow but was interesting. Overall, the tour was easy to book, organized, and well done. I recommend not booking tours in Rome in June.

We had a great time on this tour. There wasn’t as much walking as we expected, which made it very enjoyable. The stories were fascinating and really brought the history to life. We have done haunted tours in other cities and they are hit-or-miss. This was definitely a hit! Our guide, Ali, was very informative and engaging. Whether you believe in paranormal things or not - a good haunted tour should still be exciting with historical information and macabre stories. This tour definitely fit the bill. Totally recommend for anyone who enjoys spooky stories and unique historical anecdotes. FULL DAY of great touring

Great guides! I can't recall their names but both guides were extremely educational, knowledgeable, entertaining, and just a great experience overall. It was a bit challenging getting from one tour to the next, and trying to eat lunch as well, but we made it, with 10 minutes to spare.
