Great day to see mansions.

It was a great tour. The trip started on time and ended on time. Ray our driver and tour director was very knowledgeable of all the areas and provided a lot of information that I thought was very helpful and informative. Plenty of time to see the breakers. Roughly an hour and fifteen to tour the facility. Weather and temperatures were perfect.

Tony, the trolley driver, had lots of knowledge about the area. We went by several gilded mansions. He knew the story of the families at each one. We had 90 minutes to tour The Breakers, Vanderbilt's summer home. I wish we could have had more time. I like to hear all the details. We enjoyed the tour.

Trolley Tour & Breakers Mansion visit

Fun and low stress trolley tour around Newport and a visit to the Breakers Mansion. Trolley Rob was full of information (and humorous “dad” jokes). The trolley was a bit stuffy (air condition wasn’t operating at a high level), which made the ride tough for our daughter at some points.

Incredible, Amazing, retired US Marine Was Our Tour Guide - Wow

This wonderful charming man was an absolute encyclopaedia of Newport knowledge. He hosted us for over 4 hours and he made the experience fun, light, educational and funny. The man was awesome! He also made scheduled stops for breaks and guides us every step of the way, even preparing us for other points of interest like dining spots, beaches, shopping locations and more! We were sad to say goodbye and he earned a good tip from us and others - thank you 1000 times!
