What are people saying about Juneau

Great tour.
Very knowledgeable and friendly crew. We had a group of nine people. The boat was full but did not feel crowded. From the person gathering the correct people among a crowd to the boat crew and even the bus driver gave great information. I have taken a whale watching tour four times before this one. All the companies were good, but this is the one I recommend.

The trip was fantastic....
The trip was fantastic. First the helicopter ride to glacier really highlighted the Alaska glaciers. It was smooth and the pilots were very professional. When you get to the dog camp and see all the dogs and the mushers who care for them it was just inspiring. The dogs were very energetic and just wanted to run. The team there was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. Once the got on the sled you can feel how powerful the dogs are. They pulled us thru the snow with ease. They were very friendly and we were able to pet them and take phots with them. The helicopter company went above and beyond. My wife left her hat and glasses in the van upon returning to our cruise ship. We called them and they brought them to the cruise ship before we departed.

Excellent excursion!
This was a fantastic experience! We got to meet and pet the working dogs as well as the puppies. The location is gorgeous, and the guides were all super knowledgeable. We were kept in small groups, which made it even better. Plenty of time to learn about the dogs and plenty of time to cuddle. Warning: they don’t let you take any of the puppies home with you. :-)

A Bucket List Item to not forget
Topnotch, from pick-up to drop-off. Everything was carefully executed and staff were very professional. The entire experience was awesome. To the fitting for glacier shoes, to the safety briefing, and off standing in the queue for boarding the helicopter. The ride was smooth and the ability for the pilot to choose his special spot landing, you felt like you were a rock star. The beauty was unbelievable and a once in a life time experience.

We took the quick cruise...
We took the quick cruise shuttle to the Juneau Boardwalk, where we checked in for our excursion. Easy to find. Met our driver Dylan, who drove us to the Mendenhall glacier. He was quite pleasant and informative throughout the ride. Able to see the Mendenhall glacier. We walked to nugget Falls. We didn’t have enough time to tour the visitor center, but enjoyed the hike to the Falls, which was about 2 miles round-trip. Made it back to the bus for the ride to the harbor where we went on the whale watch. Captain Michele, crew Morgan and Griffin were great. Great day on the water. Beautiful weather. So many whale sightings and witnessed bubble net feeding. Dylan was waiting for us back at the bus to take us back to the cruise ship.

Alabama Fans who loved this tour
I was a little anxious about falling off the segway, but thank goodness that didn't happen. Our guides Claire and Alme where excellent in giving me extra attention during the tour that kept me safe and reduced my fears. The scenery was beautiful and we saw so many eagles and a few porcupines during the tour. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!!

The Highlight of our Alaska Trip
We booked the Juneau Helicopter, Dog Sledding, and Glacier Landing Adventure for our family of five. Unfortunately, my oldest daughter fractured her tibial plateau just one week before our cruise, and we weren't sure if we'd be able to participate. The team was wonderful to work with throughout the process, helping us navigate the changes and making things as smooth as possible.
In the end, I was able to go with my youngest daughter, and we're so grateful we did. It was our first time ever flying in a helicopter, and the entire experience was unforgettable. We loved learning about the sled dogs, their training, and the important role they play. It was also fascinating to hear how the staff live and work on the glacier during the season.
The highlight for me was at the end of the tour when our pilot, Tim, landed on the glacier. Seeing it up close was absolutely incredible. Tim did an excellent job sharing his knowledge, answering questions, and even helping us capture some great photos. He made the experience even more memorable.
A few tips for future guests: dress warmly, even if it's comfortable in town. It was quite cold on the glacier. Also, the staff explained that roughly 40% of tours are canceled due to weather. That's completely beyond their control, but it's helpful to know ahead of time so you can set expectations and be flexible.
Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. We felt incredibly fortunate to have had this experience, and it was truly one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful way...
This is a beautiful way to experience an up-close view of the Mendenhall glacier. My 9 year old and I had so much fun on the canoe ride. Nuggets Falls was amazing, too. We really enjoyed our time at the waterfall. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and this was the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Juneau. We would definitely recommend going on this adventure!

Amazing views, birds, seals, and a patient guide.
We had an amazing trip. 8 of us - 4 adults and 4 children (5-16yrs) and we all had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect with far more visible mountain tops than usual. Seals popped up right next to my niece and brother-in-law's kayak! Our guide was very patient with us being a bit slower to get suited up in the provided rubber boots (wear socks!) and aprons for adults or waterproof overalls for kids and when the little kids wanted to have kayak races. We saw a lot of birds, seals, and of course, Mendenhall Glacier on the other side of the water. Since the glacier doesn't reach the fresh water lake anymore - see it close from a hike and do this kayaking/canoeing instead!

Amazing experience
Amazing experience getting super close to the glacier. Amazing views. It was worth the effort. And Sophie our guide, she was great. The coordination, meeting point and getting back to the port, everything was right on time. Great service from the company.

Great experience!
We loved this experience! Sophie and Tor were the best guides. They were knowledgeable, kept us safe and really funny! They had us laughing throughout the canoe ride. It was really neat to canoe across the lake and then hike so close to the glacier. There was hardly anyone else there, so it was peaceful and the views were so beautiful. A really fun day!

We had a fantastic time! ...
We had a fantastic time! Mendenhall Glacier was beautiful, and the float was peaceful and scenic. There was very little white water (at least the day that we went). Dalton was a fantastic guide. It was a wonderful opportunity to see a bit of Juneau away from the crowds in port.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Think of Juneau as the opposite of Rome—no roads lead in or out of this Alaskan capital. That’s not a problem: Take advantage of the city’s island nature, skip the rental car, and hit the skies. Juneau helicopter tours are the most thrilling way to see this rugged slice of Alaska, and in many cases, they’re the only way. You’ll see the roadless backcountry, spy on glaciers, hover over islands, and more. If one thing is sure, helicopter tours in Juneau prove no US capital can compare in ruggedness, wildness, or beauty.
