The best of Sitka
This is a fantastic tour. The Raptor centre, Totem park and Bear sanctuary were all really interesting and definitely worth a visit whilst in Sitka. Our guide Ryan was excellent and brought the tour to life adding lots of additional information about the Sitka area and indigenous people. I would definitely recommend this tour it was well organized and thoroughly enjoyable..

A tour guide that cares!
Our cruise ship docked at Ward Cove, which required a 15 minute shuttle to get to town. From there, we had about a 10 minute walk to get to the visitor's center where we met our tour guide, Lauren. Luckily, we were the only ones that booked for that time slot so we got a private tour. Lauren was very knowledgeable about Ketchikan and was excited to show us the town. It was early season so the wildlife wasn't too active but we were able to see different animals and even a bear along the way. Lauren was nice enough to drop us off to the shuttle so we didn't have to walk that extra 10 minutes back. We'd definitely recommend this to anyone visiting!

This was a very fun...
This was a very fun adventure. We saw hump back whales, and learned a great deal about whales, including the differences between humpbacks and orcas. The naturalist was charming and knowledgeable. The van driver to the boat was especially entertaining.

Best whale watching tour group!
The whale watching tour was great. Easy to communicate with the tour guide ahead of time, and the tour was done in a timely manner. It was chilly and cloudy but the crew made it fun and entertaining. The cabin of the boat was warm and comfortable, while the deck surrounding the boat made it easy to move around outside to see the whales. Andrew and Captain TJ were great. Fun, knowledgeable and they found the whales! We highly recommend this tour company.

The state of Alaska is enormous, and more than half of it is wilderness—so it should come as no surprise that a majority of Alaska tours are focused on exploring the great outdoors. You can go for a hike on icefields, take a boat ride to look for whales, get a bird’s-eye view of glaciers and fjords from a helicopter, marvel at the scenery in Alaska’s national parks, stay up late to see the northern lights, and hop on a dog sled. There are also tours in some of Alaska’s most popular cities, including expert-led sightseeing and foodie adventures.
