A must do with a must crew in Juneau!
A must do with a must crew when you go to visit Juneau! This crew is top notch! Their expertise lead us right to a Mom and infant playing in the water. A nearby humpback even breached! The boat was fantastic with room both inside and out for optimal viewing. Don’t think twice… book this one now!

Captain T, Haylee, and...
Captain T, Haylee, and Tenley showed us a great time out on the water. Haylee was out main tour guide for this trip and she was so knowledgeable about the whales and their behavior. We got very lucky to see about 7 whales several times, including Baby Goose. Learning the names of the whales and their individual quirks and behaviors made a wonderful trip even more exciting.

Teddy was great. He had a ton of information and told some pretty good jokes. We didn’t see a bear (although he tried hard to find one) but the eagles and salmon were amazing. I’ve never seen so many eagles in one place or see them trying to catch the salmon.

Beautiful Juneau
Tour to see the glacier and whales was very well organized. Alaska Tales who is the tour company was great and moved my original schedule to a later one because my ship docked in the afternoon instead of morning. Mendenhall Glacier was magnificent and we saw 3 whales from the boat. The guides were wonderful and knowledgeable. We were lucky to have good weather. Overall it was a great first time experience and Juneau was beautiful.

The state of Alaska is enormous, and more than half of it is wilderness—so it should come as no surprise that a majority of Alaska tours are focused on exploring the great outdoors. You can go for a hike on icefields, take a boat ride to look for whales, get a bird’s-eye view of glaciers and fjords from a helicopter, marvel at the scenery in Alaska’s national parks, stay up late to see the northern lights, and hop on a dog sled. There are also tours in some of Alaska’s most popular cities, including expert-led sightseeing and foodie adventures.
