We had such a great experience whale watching in Juneau! 🐋 The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip fun from start to finish. They did a great job explaining what we were seeing and made sure everyone had a good view without ever making the experience feel rushed. The scenery alone was incredible, and getting to see the whales out in their natural habitat made it even more memorable. Everything felt organized, comfortable, and well worth it. Definitely one of the highlights of our Alaska trip and something I would recommend to anyone visiting Juneau! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing Experience!
We were on the tour with Larry, Griffin and Kacie on the Jay Ellis. Wonderful crew with tons of experience and passion for what they do. They made the tour fun, educational and I got excited more and more throughout the tour as they were able to tell so many stories about the specific whales we were seeing. They knew their ages, their movements, who their babies were, whether they stayed in the area or traveled to Hawaii to warmer water, and so much more! They really knew their stuff! And Griffin was so excited to get snot on by a whale, that we were all hoping we would be the tour to let him check off that bucket list item, but it wasn’t meant to be. Highly recommend you take this tour and see if you can be with Griffin to check off “getting snot on by a whale” 🤣

Awesome wildlife excursion!
This was a great excursion. Our tour guide Daniel was incredibly friendly, easy going and knowledgeable. He allowed us to choose our own adventure, which for us was all the wildlife. We saw eagles, bears, otters, salmon and even a whale! It was awesome! He even picked us up from the port and dropped us off at a great restaurant. So easy, and a great bargain (especially compared to what was offered by the cruise line). If you are doing an excursion in Ketchikan, this is the one you want to do!

The state of Alaska is enormous, and more than half of it is wilderness—so it should come as no surprise that a majority of Alaska tours are focused on exploring the great outdoors. You can go for a hike on icefields, take a boat ride to look for whales, get a bird’s-eye view of glaciers and fjords from a helicopter, marvel at the scenery in Alaska’s national parks, stay up late to see the northern lights, and hop on a dog sled. There are also tours in some of Alaska’s most popular cities, including expert-led sightseeing and foodie adventures.
