Worth it, funnest part of the trip

Both the helicopter ride and the dog sledding experience on top of the glacier were amazing and so much fun. I was surprised by how much snow was still on the glacier during the summer. The dogs were smart, friendly, and full of energy. The sled ride on the snow was very smooth. When we occasionally went over small bumps, it felt very gentle, almost like driving over a small bump in a car. I noticed that the dogs in the back would even look back to check that everything was okay, which was so cute and impressive. All of the staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. They clearly knew every dog and each person had specific responsibilities. The dogs seemed excited and happy to run on the snow. Overall, it was a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

This was THE best...

This was THE best experience ever! I was in a very small plane with 2 other passengers and had the pleasure to sit next to our pilot. The views and the information during the flight were incredible! I can highly recommend this and not landing on the glacier was my pick because I‘m a little scared of the height. So this is then a good choice if you still want to explore the Denali and glaciers from the top. Thank you so much!

One of the most memorable nature days for our active family!

Our cruise was absolutely amazing!! We saw everything on our wish list, including a pod of humpbacks, a pod of orcas, sea lions, sea otters, harbor seals, starfish, puffins, eagles and jellyfish. Captain Mike was informative and stopped the boat for a long enough time for everyone to view the wildlife. Our family is a group of 7 and it can be challenging to find an activity that everyone loves but this was it! It was fantastic! A word of caution if you are prone to sea sickness: take necessary medication in advance. It was a rough day on the water and the queasiness was apparent.

We absolutely loved the Helicopter to Dog-Sledding experience. The reps at the airport were friendly and helpful as they sized us for our boots. We locked away our valuables and headed to the helicopter. The ride was smooth with the most beautiful scenery. Once we landed, we learned about the dog camp and headed to meet our musher, Brenna. She was so good with the dog team and the dogs listened and followed her instruction. The dog sled ride was about a 1 mile loop. It was so much fun. The dogs were friendly and lovable allowing us to pet them. This experience is a must do!

Couldn't do the dogs for weather but ended up with an even better day

Even though the dogsleg trip had to be cancelled for weather, they suggested a glacier tour that I think turned out to be even better than the dogs would have been. Aaron landed the helicopter right between two small glacier puddles and gave us a beautiful view of the ice. This is something everyone should do at least one. More if possible. He was a great pilot giving us interesting commentary along the way and showing us sights we could not have dreamed of. Highly recommend any tour they offer. They are very safety conscious and provde a great adventure.

This is the best adventure ever!

Do not miss this! What an exciting adventure we had! From the helicopter ride up the mountain to the ride back down, every second was exciting and thrilling. I am a scaredy cat but felt perfectly safe the entire trip. Everything was explained and safety was their first priority. The mushers were great and we learned so much about the Alaskan Iditarod. The dogs were happy to get hooked up to the sled and excited to run. The mushers knew them all by name and obviously cared very much for them. We even go to hold some adorable puppies! This will always be the highlight of our trip to Alaska!

Amazing! We rode with the...

Amazing! We rode with the owner of the company and he shared lots with us. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and they never take the same route twice. They also provide headphones that Bluetooth the pilots music and turns down when he wants to tell you something. You can also touch it to talk to the pilot. The pictures do not do this justice

Amazing and Unforgetable adventure

We flew up to and on top of the Glacier, got out, and walked around on the glavier. Aron was our pilot. He was an excellent pilot and a wealth of knowledge about the Knik glacier and glaciers in general as well as the entire surrounding area. We saw sheep on the flight as well If you are in the Anchorage area, do not miss this experience. It is simply amazing. And ask for Aron!!

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. There were just two of us along with the pilot, which made the experience feel very personal. The day was crystal clear, allowing us to see the mountains stretching far into the distance. The pilot even guided us on a walk across the glacier, making it an unforgettable adventure.

It was an incredibly easy from start to finish. If you drive there yourself the roads seem like you are going to nowhere.. it’s private land not commercial so keep that in mind. The hostess was pleasant, informative & very concerned for safety. (Btw the release of reliability contract was written pretty funny). We boarded the helicopter, my short legs at 5’5” had a little trouble getting in the back seat, & began our journey. The pilot Christine was absolutely FABULOUS my wife & I were extremely happy with her friendliness, professionalism & just all around a great person to be with for this journey. I decided to at the last minute to do the ice plunge (be sure to tell them before you leave if you have a faint idea you may do it, they need to pack towels) that was awesome! Exhilarating & stimulating (I may go buy a cold plunge tub soon!).. take a water bottle to drink some glacier water! the flight back thru the canyon was just awesome. The scenery, the view, the experience was just awesome.. (& seriously don’t forget to tip pilot at least something)

Best experience ever! I highly recommend booking this trip if your budget allows—and book as early as possible, since that gives you flexibility to reschedule if the weather doesn’t permit flying. I’ve been to Alaska three times, taken three glacier trips, and this was by far the best. Alaska is at its most breathtaking when you’re in the sky. You really feel how small you are when surrounded by such splendid nature. The entire experience is great—they had very kind people to accompany you every step of the way. Tom was with us, making sure the suit fit well, until he handed us to the pilot. The flight was super smooth too. Trevor showed us beautiful scenery during the flight, and I didn’t feel motion sickness at all. Our guides, Maty and Galen, were the best I’ve ever had. Not only did they take us to incredible spots and share their knowledge about the glacier, but they were also having fun. They were excited about the glacier and about us having fun, just as we were. You’re encouraged to explore the glacier safely, almost like becoming a child again—bringing your courage and curiosity with you. See nature, feel nature, and live in nature. It was my friend’s first time on a glacier. She also didn’t know how to swim, and yet she felt perfectly safe, even as we explored different routes both with and without water. We got tons of photos taken and laughters throughout the trip. I would love to book again if I'm coming to Alaska again!
