Her knowledge about the canyon, its history, and the geology was impressive, and she shared everything in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. Lauren went above and beyond by helping us take stunning photos—she knew all the best angles and lighting spots, and thanks to her, we left with some unforgettable pictures. She was patient, attentive, and made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and included throughout the tour. Must Take Tour

This was recommended to us by a couple that we met while on our road trip and soooo glad we took it. We booked with Ken’s Tours and Delilah Williams was our tour guide, and she was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the canyon and provided ample time to take photographs. I highly recommend you take this tour and with Delilah if she is available You will not regret it.

Seamless, Scenic and Safe

The experience was seamless from beginning to end. The drivers at the pickup were there on-time. As soon as we reached the boat, we were in the air within 30 min. The pilot, Scott, was amazing. He explained the hot air balloon process throughout the whole ride and described the scenery. The landing was also exactly as he described and safe. The closing ceremony, breakfast and champagne were the icing on the cake. I would it again!

Great day! Lovely experience visiting all of the beautiful spots. Only down side was how bumpy the boat ride was on the way there, but also that is out of their control and overall a lovely experience I would reccomend to anyone that loves snorkeling and pretty views.

We drove four hours, but it was worth it! It was beautiful, one-of-a-kind. Wear good running shoes. In April, no need for a jacket because the weather is nice enough. If you're claustrophobic, this is not for you. If you're more than six feet tall, you'll have to bend to get in. No filming allowed. Picture only.

“Go big or go home”

This was an incredible way to see the Grand Canyon. I never thought that it was going to be that breathtaking. The pilot was very knowledgable and explained every area of it. The helicopters were top notch. I have never ridden in a helicopter before and was at ease when I seen how clean and shiny their equipment and facilities were. Well worth the cost. I always tell my wife “let’s go big or let’s go home”. That was definitely “so big”. The first thing that comes out of my mouth anytime someone asks me about the trip is the helicopter ride and the professional service that we had with Maverick helicopters. They also get you relaxed for take off by playing the theme song to top gun as the helicopter lifts off the ground. It definitely gives you that “let’s go conquer the canyon” feeling. I just can’t say enough about it. Trust me, you won’t be sorry. ITS BETTER “TO GO BIG WITH MAVERICK THEN TO GO HOME WITH NOTHING”. Enjoy the ride!

Bucket List Adventure!!!!

I can't say enough good things about this tour from this company. Loretta, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, personable, and authentic. Loved when she told of her lineage, one of the most special moments on the tour. The beauty of the canyon was surreal and very spiritual. The view of Horseshoe Bend was picture perfect and well worth the walk for this old Boomer. Loretta sidekick for the day was trainee, Teniya. She is going to make a great tour guide. I enjoyed her company at the back of the line of our group. Get a seat on the first tour of the day to avoid the crowd of other tours that were lined up as we exited to get back on our tour truck. Don't miss this experience with this company.

Fun Times ATV/UTV Riding

We did UTV trail riding today with our friends. Our guide "Matt" was amazing; he was able to answer any question the entire group had. The ride was fun, a bit thrilling, for sure dusty, but that even made it more of an adventure. We even saw a donkey (two donkeys that were hiding by a campsite).

Stunning and magical

Whilst this does seem expensive, it is a do not miss experience. There were a lot of people at the meeting point but we were dealt with efficiently and distributed to various vehicles. The vehicles all looked in good condition and enclosed - we noticed some other tours had open air vehicles which would have meant a face full of sand on the journey through the dry valley of sand to the canyon. Our guide was respectful of everyone, including those slightly less able, and never rushed us, although there is always another group in front of you and one behind (so the push comes from behind). Clearly they have a good system re the pace of progression through the canyon. It is not very long, so there is no need for a fast pace, and there was plenty of time to admire and take photos. Indeed our guide knew how to take the best photos and took many on our behalf. He also had a lot of knowledge. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. We booked for the 11.45am tour in order to get the best light, and indeed our guide confirmed independently that around the middle of the day when the sun it at it's highest is the best time re light within the canyon (being a slot canyon this makes sense). He said if you want the absolute best light you need to visit in the height of summer when it is very hot outside, but cooler in the canyon (you'll be glad of those air conditioned vehicles then!). You are only allowed to take a phone / camera. No bag, however, small.
