A Highlight of Our Entire Italy Trip

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without a doubt, this was the best boat tour we have ever done. My family and I had an incredible experience, and a huge part of that was Matteo. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about Lake Como, its history, and the beautiful villas along the shore, but he was also one of the kindest and most welcoming guides we’ve ever met. My mother had actually never been on a boat before, and Matteo made her feel completely comfortable and at ease. He was patient, friendly, and genuinely cared that everyone was having a great time. We also had a few transportation issues and arrived later than planned. Despite our delays and all the back-and-forth communication, Matteo was unbelievably understanding, flexible, and accommodating. He treated us with so much kindness and patience, which we appreciated more than he knows. The scenery was breathtaking, the boat was beautiful, and Matteo’s passion for what he does truly made the experience special. It never felt rushed, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. Out of all the tours we have done during our travels, this was our favorite. Exceptional hospitality

Stefano was our captain and guide, and he truly saved our day. Our train from Milan was delayed twice, causing us to arrive nearly two hours late for our scheduled tour. Throughout the delay, Stefano stayed in constant contact with me via WhatsApp and Viator and graciously waited for us to arrive. Despite the inconvenience, he skipped his own break to ensure we could still enjoy the full two-hour experience. He gave us a wonderful tour of Lake Como, sharing fascinating stories about the area's history, pointing out landmarks, and even showing us the fishermen's village where he lives. Our day did not start off well, but thanks to Stefano's exceptional hospitality, flexibility, and kindness, it turned into one of the highlights of our trip. Stress-Free, Beautiful, and Worth Every Minute

I absolutely loved this Lake Como, Bellagio, and Lugano day trip from Milan. Of all the tours and experiences I've booked through Viator, this was my favorite. What made this trip so special was the perfect balance between guided transportation and independent exploration. I loved being able to enjoy both the scenic bus ride and the boat cruise across Lake Como—experiences that would have been much more complicated to coordinate on my own. Everything was organized seamlessly; all I had to do was show up at the meeting point and enjoy the day. The itinerary gave us approximately two hours in each destination, which was the perfect amount of time to wander the streets, enjoy a meal, do a little shopping, take photos, and simply soak in the atmosphere at our own pace. Bellagio was charming, Lugano was beautiful, and the views throughout the day were breathtaking. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how easy this tour made it to experience multiple destinations in one day without worrying about transportation, schedules, or logistics. It allowed me to relax and fully enjoy the journey. That said, I would recommend this tour not only to solo travelers but also to couples, families, and groups. It’s a quick and easy tour. Seeing the beautiful homes and learning about who own them how old they are etc. our tour guide was excellent. The only thing I would change is to inform people that when they get to the pier that your name will be called out loud about 10 minutes or so before your tour starts.

The boat tour itself was great. Our guides were wonderful and we had a covered area to protect us from the sun. The set up and finding our guide, however, was not great. We got to our point and we were told we had to come back in an hour because the boat wasn’t ready. Once we came back, there was nobody there at the doctor greeted us and it took a while to get everything settled.

I cannot recommend highly enough the 4-hour private Lake Como tour. It was such a special experience to be able to enjoy such stunning location and have the flexibility to visit charming Bellagio and Varenna as well, without fighting the crowds on the larger ferries. Our guide Frederico was absolutely wonderful and expertly navigated around the lake to show us breathtaking historic villas and hidden gems, and shared fascinating local history along the way. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Lake Como I would not hesitate to take this tour again.

Amazing experience

I had not been on a boat since i was really young (maybe 5/6 years old), so I was slightly nervous about being on the water alone. But once id arrived Ignacio explained everything really clearly which instantly eliminated any stress I had. The boat is super easy to drive and there's plenty of space on the lake to drive around and enjoy yourself pretty freely.
