Fantastic!!!! Must do at night.

John was absolutely fantastic. We didn't realize it would be 2+hours long and I had my 70 year old mom and 3 kids with my wife and I. We figured we'd leave early as it might be too long. We totally forgot about that once the tour started. John was that good. Before we knew it, the tour was over. It was one of the best experiences we had in our 2 day trip to Salem. Loved it.

Wonderful experience!!

It was wonderful! The captain and crew were all very kind, brought great energy to the sail. We learned a lot about the area and the boat. We helped raise sails, it was a blast! The literal only complaint I have is that there wasn’t a way to leave a tip without having cash- I would definitely recommend having a QR code to a shared venmo or something for the crew so it’s easier to leave a tip!

This was a wonderful tour. Sarah did an excellent job balancing history with pop culture and modern information. She kept things authentic but made sure we ended the tour on a happy note. There are several “tough” topics, but it was very informative and overall enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an accurate, historical tour.

Mischa was a great tour guide and took us through the interesting history of the witch trials and impact on the town and areas. He kept it fun and interesting and gave us some great recommendations for other places to go on our visit. Tour was a little over an hour which was perfect for after dinner / before drinks.

Our tour guide was full of enthusiasm and shared detailed history at each location. He was also very funny! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend to anyone visiting Salem for the first time to get your bearings of the town and learn some of the history. Informative and entertaining walking tour of Salem

We really enjoyed this tour and even ate at Turner’s Seafood Restaurant that had history as part of the tour and was recommended to eat there by the tour guide which was a fantastic meal! We loved all the history and detailed stories that were shared. The tour did not disappoint.

If you're going to do one tour, do this one. The tour itself is long, delicious, and so well paced. You get to taste drinks at each different bar/pub, and each stop comes with a haunting story that makes the drink taste even better. Such a brilliant concept. And our guide made it even better — fun, energetic, super knowledgeable, and genuinely patient with all the questions we had (and we had a lot!). You can tell they love what they do and love the history they share. You definitely get the most out of this tour. Worth every minute and every sip.

We enjoyed this tour!

The tour was very interesting and well done. April was a very engaging and knowledgeable host, who is a local person with a long family history in the area. She took us to many sites and gave us a fuller picture of Salem’s amazing history. She answered all of our questions and made it fun. I went with my ten year old grandchild who really enjoyed all of the stories the way April told them.

He was extremely knowledgeable, and offered a facts-based version centered around understanding the localized factional conflict that occurred during this time, and the religious, social, economic, and political factors that played into the social consciousness of the early Puritanical colonists.
