What are people saying about Jackson Hole

Excellent tour
A well planned tour, with a guide knowledgeable about the history and legends of the place, as well as the artists who depicted it. He gave us a detailed geological, wildlife and historical account of the area. He was very skilled at finding wildlife and at telling as interesting facts about their behavior, their evolution, their biology. The same about the flora and the ecological balance of Jackson Hole. Joe was a pleasant, engaging and enthusiastic guide, able to answer a large variety of questions. His degree in history and art history reflect in the level of expert explanations. The pick up was punctual, the ride comfortable with an appropriate number of stops for views and wildlife spotting. Telescope and binoculars were provided and Joe offered to take pictures for us and of us. It goes with saying that the landscape was breathtaking. I visited at the beginning of October when the foliage was gorgeous and the weather was excellent.

Booked the last float of...
Booked the last float of the season (September 30). The seats on the craft were quite comfortable, and the crew was very careful about safety. Tanner, our guide, was very friendly. He was the first to spot the 4 or 5 bald eagles we saw on the trip. He was also knowledgeable about the history of the region. The river was mainly calm with a few splashes along the way. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Remember to bring sunscreen!

Peaceful float down snake river
We had a wonderful time and a very knowledgeable guide, Zack. He pointed out numerous bald eagles and was a wealth of knowledge. The entire trip from pickup in a bus, float down the Snake River, and return, after 13 miles and about 2.5 hours was great. I recommend Dave Hanson’s company!!!

Well worth the time and money!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the float on the river, the beautiful scenery, the camaraderie with the other couples on our boat, and our guide, Charlie. Charlie was extremely personable and knowledgeable and navigated both the shallow areas and mini-rapids skillfully. This is hard, physical work, but he seemed to enjoy the experience as much as the rest of us. We saw a couple of moose and bald eagles. The box lunches provided were generous and delicious! Well worth the time and money!

For a destination with almost as many elk as people (around 10,000), Jackson Hole has a lot to offer. Jackson Hole tours are the easiest and most efficient way to explore this world-renowned valley, whether you want to raft the Snake River, learn how to fly fish, or see Grand Teton National Park’s big five on a sunrise safari. Qualified guides can also take you into Yellowstone National Park to watch Old Faithful erupt or even into the surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest, which some locals swear is best seen by horseback.
