Incredible Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica tour

I had an absolutely wonderful private tour of the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica with Brankica! Marvelous experience!

This is a must do trip if you are at all interested in glass. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel (the actual ticket is confusing but it is a round trip back to hotel). Our guide, Julia, was terrific! Emilio at Colleoni met us at the dock at Murano and led us to the demonstration and explained what was happening. Colleoni is a premier glass blowing company and their showroom is spectacular! We bought a chandelier what will be made just for us.

So worth your time to experience the art of glass making! You can sit and watch glass makers at work and then visit the showroom with numerous piece of art. Then travel to the island of Burano and experience the peaceful life of an islander. Along the tour we learned about the history of the island and had time for a wonderful lunch. Our tour guide Tomaz was fantastic and would highly recommend this tour!

Amina was a wonderful tour guide with a lovely personality. She met us at the hotel due to (losing luggage in Venice from Paris and we waited for next flight that luggage was on) and we were on a tight schedule. Anyways, Amina was timely, dependable , very personable and knowledgeable about Venice. She showed us so many hidden gems off the beaten paths that were truly lovely! We asked for recommendations for dinner, and shopping when we return to Venice after our cruise ends and she gave us many. She knew her history of Venice and was a very refreshing tour guide! She truly enjoyed doing this job!

Church tour of a lifetime

This is an experience of a lifetime. Seeing Saint Marks after dark in the evening without the crowds and with the church lights on is amazing. I learned a lot abut The church, Venice and Venetian history even tough I had down a lot a reading beforehand. The Doge’s Place after blaring was also very good. Highly recommend they’d tour to everyone visiting Venice.,

Marco Z was an amazing driver and guide!He knows the Dolomites like the back of his hand! The 2 hour drive was gorgeous and passed quickly. If coming from Venice, pre -arrange your transportation to the meeting spot, we (8) went to and from our hotel in a water taxi .The tour guide or Vistor, etc can do this for you, Highly recommend Marco Z and this tour!

Communicative and flexible to our schedule

Shaheer was excellent. He was very communicative the days previous to us arriving in Venice and adjusted his schedule to accommodate 2 last minute timing changes due to our transportation being rerouted. He was a local and a Masters student in Venice, so excellent knowledge and great discussion. I would suggest that 2 hour is probably the right amount to give you your bearings and understand the “why” of Venice.

Personal walking tour with Reza!

Reza was a great tour guide! He personalized the tour to our interests and questions. He gave us the opportunity to see areas a little off the beaten track which was nice. If you get the chance to take a personal tour do it, much nicer than the group tours. The gondola ride at the end was icing on the cake, we spent some time on the Grand Canal but the quieter back canals were very enjoyable and relaxing. Great tour with Reza!

Fantastic Custom Tour

Elisabete was a wonderful tour guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. It was just our family of 3, so it was private and intimate. After the glass blowing demonstration we visited the factory showrooms. Then went into a church and went to the lighthouse. We stopped at a few shops before getting back on the water taxi. We truly enjoyed our visit to Murano.
