What are people saying about Venice

A Great Tour, Thanks to Selena
Selena is what made this tour exceptional. As a Venetian, she shared fascinating local history and insights that made every stop more meaningful. She was warm, organized, and engaging, and truly elevated the entire experience. We also had a delicious lunch in Burano at Trexento Pasta, which was one of the highlights of the day.
The only downside was the Murano glass showroom. It felt very sales-focused, and many of the pieces were extremely expensive. We later discovered on our own that not everything in the store was made in-house in Murano, and no one mentioned that during our visit. Aside from that, it was an excellent tour that we would definitely recommend, especially with Selena as your guide.

Would go again!
Really impressive husband/wife duo where the wife guides across two comfortable vans with a call on speakers. It was very clever and meant we weren't limited by space from having a huge bus. The stops were nice (though I would've liked more on the way because some of the views were insanely beautiful) and I liked that the organisers told us that vegetarian/gluten free etc. options would be available at Braies without anyone asking. It just shows they've thought about everything. Very beautiful and I would do it again if I was low on time but wanted to see the Dolomites. Grazie!

An Unforgettable Day in the Dolomites with an Amazing Guide
If you're considering a day trip to the Dolomites, don't hesitate—this tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy!
From the moment the tour began, everything was incredibly well organized. The communication leading up to and throughout the day was clear, concise, and made the entire experience stress-free.
Our tour director, Mateo, was absolutely AMAZING! He was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and made everyone feel welcome. He made sure we got the best photos and he was kind and always offered to take pictures for you. His passion for the Dolomites and the surrounding region truly brought the experience to life.
The scenery is simply breathtaking. You'll experience towering mountain peaks, crystal-clear alpine lakes, charming villages, and panoramic views that look like they're straight out of a postcard. There were plenty of opportunities to take photos, explore, and enjoy the beauty of the area without ever feeling rushed.
One of the things we appreciated most was how thoughtfully Mateo planned our day. He arranged the perfect lunch at a local restaurant, giving us the opportunity to enjoy authentic regional cuisine instead of a typical tourist meal. He also made time for a stop at a renowned gelato shop, where we learned that people come from all over to attend a school dedicated to the art of making authentic Italian gelato. It was such a fun and unique experience to taste gelato made in a place with that kind of tradition and expertise.
This tour offers the perfect balance of sightseeing, free time, local culture, and fascinating information about the region. If you want to experience the incredible beauty of the Dolomites without the stress of planning all the logistics yourself, this is the tour to book. We highly recommend it and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Amazing tour of Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica
This tour was above and beyond my expectations! The tour in the Doge’s Palace was fantastic. Our tour guide Simonetta was so knowledgeable, and we really appreciated and enjoyed the history telling combined with the tour. I wish we had a little bit more time in St. Mark’s Basilica, as I thought that part felt a bit rushed. However that did not take away from the amazing sites.

Great day trip from Venice!
This tour was excellent! We arrived at the train station in Venice and boarded a train for about a 50-minute ride. Carlo was waiting for us at the station when we arrived. Before starting the Prosecco tour, he offered us a beverage and gave us time to use the restroom. He also provided cold bottled water for the drive, which was a thoughtful touch.
I would strongly recommend this tour. Everything was well organized, Carlo was a fantastic host, and we had an amazing time!

Highly Recommend
Definitely worth it. We only had a short time in Venice so this was the perfect opportunity to see the Dolomites. Our tour guide Francesco was great - knowledgeable, friendly, and helped share the history. The Dolomites are beautiful and this is a great way to see them.

We went with Matteo and...
We went with Matteo and Gianpietro and had a great experience. Scenery was beautiful and the places we visited were really nice. Matteo had great knowledge of the area and history and was funny and engaging. We recommend going to the restaurant with Matteo, I personally like the spatzle and prosecco.

Review
The experience was worthwhile because you understood the stories behind what you were seeing and not roaming aimlessly. Our guide, Antonio, is a native of Venice and his knowledge and stories were informative and enjoyable. This tour with Antonio will be a memorable experience from our trip.

Definitely recommend!
We had spent several days in Venice so I was wondering if this would hold anything new. The tour guide was great! He shared so much information we otherwise wouldn't have known. Even for the places we had previously visited, the information made it worth visiting again. I especially liked learning about the Jewish Ghetto area and memorial.
I definitely recommend this tour!

A concise and thorough highlight tour
Our tour guide did a wonderful job of guiding us through the crowds and explaining the many historic highlights along the way. We got to bypass the line for the gondola ride so it was an efficient use of our time. He offered to take photos of us in front of the significant parts such as the Rialto Bridge. There is a lunch break in the middle of the day and we went to the pizza restaurant he recommended which was a great choice! Would recommend for a great overview of Venice.

Best experience for couples!!
Leonardo was our tour guide and he was phenomenal!! He showed us a lot of the significant sights around Venice and the history behind them. He helped make our trip romantic as I was celebrating my honeymoon and I couldn’t ask for anyone more knowledgeable. He is a Venetian himself and he was proud of it! Great to see he is keeping the tradition alive!

Don’t be Afraid of Classical Music
You don’t have to be a classical music lover to enjoy this trip back in time, through music
Traveling for the first time to Italy with friends & family. We thought getting a glimpse of old world Venice through music would be cool and it was. Don’t know anything about classical music but do know a few names of the old composers, Vivaldi is one and seeing how his “The Four Seasons” work is the most famous, and he was from Venice it made sense to go to the performance. We all had a wonderful time and the music was very engaging & lively. I think what really added to the performance, especially if you weren’t a classical music lover, was that the musicians dressed in the costumes of the period. You could imagine yourself in the 18th Century & listening to a concert of Vivaldi. We were looking for something uniquely “Venetian” and this concert fit the bill. Of course it was for “tourists” but it definitely had a different “flavor” other than the regular “tourist” things to do in Venice. We upgraded our tickets to “Skip the Line- Sit in the First Thee Rows”. It was worth it to be right up front. Like I said earlier, no one in our group was a classical music fan but we all enjoy good music whatever the genre. We heard good music & enjoyed the showmanship. It was a great activity and an end to a beautiful day in Venice.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Pulling yourself away from Venice’s splendor can be a challenge, but this city on the sea is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Veneto region or even further afield. Venice day trips are a seamless way to visit destinations as close as islands in the Venetian lagoon or as far as the UNESCO-listed Dolomite peaks without managing tricky logistics alone. Sip Prosecco in the Valdobbiadene vineyards, admire iconic sports cars in the Motor Valley museums or discover Veneto gems like Verona and Lake Garda with hassle-free transportation directly from Venice.
