What are people saying about Venice

Marvelous island trip....
Marvelous island trip. Make sure to go to Torcello and it’s a good place to eat lunch at a nice restaurant away from the crowds of Burano. Our guide Clementina was 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The glass blowing tour is ok but ends with a hard sell of expensive handmade glass products.

Perfect Day in the Prosecco Hills
Carlo was an excellent host! Travel from train station was easy. Roads to first winery were very curvy but picturesque! Wine was excellent and Carlo/Local Vineyard owner provided information on the entire prosecco production process from farm to the grocery store. Prosecco tastings were excellent. The family osteria was fantastic and the food was delicious! Overall was a great experience and would highly recommend for anyone wanting a unique experience in a beautiful part of Italy!

Another great outing with...
Another great outing with Stefania and her husband Ralph :) This is our second trip with their small family business tour, and it’s a great day away up to the mountains! Would highly recommend, yes it's a long outing, but there’s time to rest in their new and comfortable vans on the way back! :) thanks again Stefania and Ralph, Ciao Ciao !

Different Venice experience
We definitely found this tour to be a highlight of our time in Venice! Absolutely loved the glass making demonstration and found a couple of beautiful items to bring home. Burano was so colorful and unique. Our tour guide Rachele was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, gave us a good lunch recommendation and had a witty sense of humor. I liked the pace of the tour as well - perfect amount of time in each place

This trip was beautiful!...
This trip was beautiful! Our driver Luca was very kind. The small group made it much more enjoyable. We stopped at beautiful lakes and picturesque Cortina. The clouds were blocking the mountains, but the few glimpses we got were stunning! We went in mid march and you definitely need shoes that you can walk in the snow and a coat.

Our tour guide was...
Our tour guide was excellent! He had so many informative comments, and a great sense of humor in his storytelling. He was the best guude we've had in Italy! A
And of course, the sites were amazingly beautiful and interesting!
However, warning: there are a LOT of stairs on this tour, and due to huge crowds of visitors, we were never afforded time to sit at one of the few rest stops along the way. At least four unrelated people in my tour group were having trouble walking by the end of the tour - in pain - and would have greatly benefited from occasional short breaks in rooms that had seating.

Don’t be Afraid of Classical Music
You don’t have to be a classical music lover to enjoy this trip back in time, through music
Traveling for the first time to Italy with friends & family. We thought getting a glimpse of old world Venice through music would be cool and it was. Don’t know anything about classical music but do know a few names of the old composers, Vivaldi is one and seeing how his “The Four Seasons” work is the most famous, and he was from Venice it made sense to go to the performance. We all had a wonderful time and the music was very engaging & lively. I think what really added to the performance, especially if you weren’t a classical music lover, was that the musicians dressed in the costumes of the period. You could imagine yourself in the 18th Century & listening to a concert of Vivaldi. We were looking for something uniquely “Venetian” and this concert fit the bill. Of course it was for “tourists” but it definitely had a different “flavor” other than the regular “tourist” things to do in Venice. We upgraded our tickets to “Skip the Line- Sit in the First Thee Rows”. It was worth it to be right up front. Like I said earlier, no one in our group was a classical music fan but we all enjoy good music whatever the genre. We heard good music & enjoyed the showmanship. It was a great activity and an end to a beautiful day in Venice.

Recommend This Tour
My family and I did this tour during our February 2026 trip to Venice. It was a great way to experience some of Venice's most famous sites. Our tour guide, Giovanna, was very knowledgable. This was not our first trip to Venice but we still learned a lot of new facts about these sites from our guide.

Incredible tour with an amazing tour guide
Absolutely incredible! Alessia (our guide) was extremely knowledgeable, funny and very relatable. She shared lots of incredibly interesting stories related to the tour. I would do this tour again! Very enjoyable. My family loved it! We learned a lot about Venice.

Excellent tour
This is a really good way to see the areas of Venice a little away from St Marks quarry and the more touristy areas. Well paced, full of facts about the history of Venice, this was a great way to familiarise ourselves with the area. Michaela our guide was lovely, very friendly and engaging. The trip to Murano was an added bonus as well! Well worth a visit!

When life gives you lemons… make lemon juice!
Unfortunately it was raining and snowing so hard we did not get to see the dolomites… but our tour guide Giovanni was very professional that he improvised our schedule and had us do something meaningful in place of the actual tour. It’s Giovanni’s professionalism, patience, and the fact that he did his best to do the tour until we could no longer proceed safely that still made it worthwhile for me. From my perspective, not having seen the dolomites as planned just gives me a reason to come back next time!

🌄 A Perfect Day in the Dolomites! 🇮🇹✨
Today we explored the breathtaking Misurina Lake, often called the “Pearl of the Dolomites.” Surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks and reflected perfectly in its crystal-clear waters, it’s a scene straight out of a postcard! 💙
After soaking in the alpine beauty, we continued on to Cortina d’Ampezzo — a charming, picture-perfect village filled with cozy cafés, boutique shops, and stunning views in every direction. 🏔️☕🛍️
This region will be in the world’s spotlight soon as host of the 2026 Winter Olympics, but right now it’s a peaceful mountain escape full of Italian charm.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Pulling yourself away from Venice’s splendor can be a challenge, but this city on the sea is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Veneto region or even further afield. Venice day trips are a seamless way to visit destinations as close as islands in the Venetian lagoon or as far as the UNESCO-listed Dolomite peaks without managing tricky logistics alone. Sip Prosecco in the Valdobbiadene vineyards, admire iconic sports cars in the Motor Valley museums or discover Veneto gems like Verona and Lake Garda with hassle-free transportation directly from Venice.
