Aurora
The guide Gabriel and the driver Sondra were exceptional! Even though the weather was constantly getting worse, they didn't give up and kept driving until they found a spot where the clouds finally cleared, leaving room for a sky full of stars, perfect for waiting for the arrival of the northern lights, which fortunately didn't keep us waiting long. To allow us to experience this to the fullest, they even extended the duration of the tour, having us return at three in the morning: tired, but truly happy and satisfied! The sausages they offered us, which we all roasted together over the bonfire, were also excellent, a pleasant moment of conviviality that made the evening even more special. A truly beautiful and successful experience, made possible by the passion, availability, and professionalism of Gabriel and Sondra. I highly recommend them!

Successful whale watching tour
Well organized, good communication, they tell you a lot about the whales. Respectful treatment of nature. Helpful and friendly crew and guides. Booked the tour twice and saw whales both times. The boat is quite a bit faster than other providers and therefore gets to the area where the whales are located faster, but also gets back to Tromsø faster.

Chasing the Northern Lights with Wandering Owl
An unforgettable aurora hunting experience with Wandering Owl! Magda, our knowledgeable guide, and Ilain, our driver, were determined to find the best aurora and they absolutely delivered! We saw some of the brightest, crispest Northern Lights, enjoyed warm food and drinks by a bonfire, and received beautiful tour photos the very next day. Amazing service, great insights, and magical memories. Highly recommend!

Five stars: a fantastic whale watching trip, with a brilliant crew
We were upfront told when boarding that the trip might not go ahead as planned, because the sea was quite wavy. The crew explained that we could give it a try, with the chance of turning back halfway, and that rescheduling or a refund would be offered if that happened. I really appreciated that honesty and flexibility. As it turned out, we were lucky with the weather and the trip went ahead all the way. The staff were helpful and friendly from start to finish, and whenever I asked for help, they were always happy to give it. During the whale watching itself, the crew answered all my questions and were clearly very knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to see a big group of orcas, and even an eagle, which made the trip feel extra special. The presentations on the journey were a real highlight. Mateo's talk on polar bear tracking was especially interesting, full of fascinating insight into life in the Arctic. It made the time between sightings just as engaging. A great experience overall, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Tromsø.

High on the northern coast of Norway, the city of Tromso is well-known among travelers as a place for Arctic adventures and lights in the sky. Tromso tours run the gamut of outdoor activities: Go for a cruise on a fjord, visit a reindeer farm, and (depending on the time of year) chase the northern lights with an expert guide. Be sure to book a tour that teaches about Sami culture, then get a hands-on lesson in the art of dog sledding and find out how these dogs have been trained for this specialized task for generations.
