What are people saying about Tokyo

Great trip.
Great trip. The last stop could’ve been better if it was scheduled for a longer stay, at least 2 hours to enjoy the waterfalls view, lunch, and souvenir shopping, especially that we were early with the low traffic. Overall, it was a great trip. Thank you, Naomi, for the guide.

Our tour guide, Rana,...
Our tour guide, Rana, arrived right on time to pick us up, and we started early. Thanks to this, we avoided traffic and returned to our hotel right on schedule. Rana recommended a beautiful waterfall—absolutely stunning—and he took plenty of photos for us.
We then stopped at Lake Saiko and Oishi Park at Lake Kawaguchiko—though it was cloudy in the morning. Later, when we reached Chureito Pagoda (🌸), climbing the steps rewarded us with a breathtaking, cloud-free Mount Fuji view. The cherry blossoms (🌸) were the highlight!
We ended at Oshino Hakkai Village, with its ponds, souvenir shops, and traditional homes. Overall, it was a 10-12 hour tour. We had an incredible time, and we wholeheartedly give it a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. If you book a tour, request Rana—his expertise made it worth every penny!

Molly was a great tour...
Molly was a great tour guide- adjusting the tour to our interests. It was nice to have a guide navigate Harajuku as it’s a very busy area and she made it a bit less overwhelming. Our teenage kids loved the area and we continued to shop after the tour. We also really enjoyed the lunch and snacks along the way! I would recommend! Thank you Molly!

Great tour! The itinerary...
Great tour! The itinerary was just the sort of thing i wanted - being able to get some stunning photographs of Mt. Fuji with various natural or historical backdrops. The bus made it easy to get between these stops, and the time allotted to each stop was more than generous. I have some breathing difficulties, which can make exercise difficult, on top of being at the tail end of my very walking heavy holiday and i still had more than enough time to slowly climb all 400 stairs to the pagoda - and spend time at the shrine at the bottom of the hill! Our tour guide was excellent, and made sure to highlight interesting things in the areas we were stopping off at and offered to take photos for people. If you take this tour, i highly recommend buying the optional lunch, as there didnt look to be a lot of other restaurants around the area where the lunch stop was, and the tour guide himself recommended the nearby convenience stores for those who didnt purchase the lunch. I personally thoroughly enjoyed my kobe beef lunch

Awesome experience!
Eric was a wonderful guide. He gave so much good information on the whole tour, even as we passed through different areas. Every part of this tour was awesome. The only thing I would mention is if you have a disability or issue with stairs, there are quite a few temples that have a lot of stairs, but even being on the ground level, there was plenty to see and do. One other side note, if you are a big or tall person, the buses for tours here are very narrow and without leg room. If you worry about that, a private small group would be better for you. Also a big shout out to our drivers, despite the holiday traffic, were able to navigate through different routes to cut what might have been a 3-4 hour traffic jam to only 2 hours.

For adrenaline junkies!
That was an insane, terrifying, fun, disturbing, crazy and cool experience. Driving up to 70km/hr through the streets and over the massive bridges of Tokyo in traffic with no helmets. As I was doing it, I kept asking myself why I put my family in such a dangerous situation. Then kept telling myself to “trust the process”. When talking about it at the end of the tour even my teenager said he was scared. But it all worked well and our guide Gia was absolutely wonderful. She safely navigated us around, ensuring we never got caught in an intersection or that the group got split up. She also took amazing photos of our group. It was an exhilarating experience, but not for the faint of heart!

Best Bike Guide In Tokyo
Gahku was our subaraschi Guide! He is such a professional cyclist always calling out every Turn, „clear“ to be confident no one is coming. He did such a fantastic job. The Route is approximately 17 miles, however it felt more like 8 miles. He is very measured with the changing of the Traffic lights, you go right thru, the Temples, Shrines, backalleys, truly best bike tour in Tokyo. Arigato!

Bucket List Sports Experience
The history and insight provided by our guide, as well as the accompanying English program and literature enhanced the experience. Even if we had been able to win the online battle and purchase tickets directly to save a little money, we would have missed out on a lot of the unique details of this iconic sport (and missed out on having a bowl of chanko).

Great first day in Japan
All and all a good tour. A little long on the front end with time spent in the cemetery. But the rest of the tour was a great introduction to the city and the culture on our first day in country. Charlotte, our guide was great. She looked out for our safety, answered all questions, and provided a nice historical background to what we were seeing.

A day in tokyo
Fantastic day out. Exhausting and difficult at times because of mobility issues. The public transport system is not as catering for the disabled as previously expected. There are a lot of steps to encounter. But Akiri, our guide, was very adaptable and much appreciated. Thank you Akiri.

Perfect Mt. Fuji & Kawaguchiko Day with Masae and Toshi
Our private car tour to Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko with Masae (guide) and Toshi (driver) was absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, Masae’s communication stood out—she carefully tailored the itinerary around our interests and even factored in the unique timing of the Fire Festival on the day of our visit. Her message to us set the tone for the entire day: thoughtful, flexible, and focused on making sure we experienced the very best.
On the day itself, Masae’s guidance and Toshi’s expert driving made the trip seamless and stress-free. Masae’s knowledge of the region, combined with her warm and accommodating approach, allowed us to enjoy each site without feeling rushed. She adjusted plans as needed based on the weather and traffic, ensuring that we could make the most of every moment.
Toshi was a wonderful driver—safe, reliable, and always ready to get us comfortably from one highlight to the next. Together, they made a fantastic team, and we felt completely taken care of throughout the journey.
If you’re looking for a memorable and personalised experience to Mt. Fuji, we highly recommend booking with Masae and Toshi. Their professionalism, flexibility, and genuine care turned a great trip into an unforgettable one.

Great experience - highly recommended. 5 stars.
This tour was a fantastic experience. Charles was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and cheerful, and he has a clear passion for photography.
He gave me some fantastic tips on using my phone camera and how to get the best shots, and he helped me get amazing photos that I've sent to my family and friends back home.
If you want to see Tokyo through a different lens, quite literally, and explore the intricate twists and turns around the maze of Shinjuku and Shibuya, then this is the tour for you.
