Itinerary
After either being collected from your hotel (if option selected) or meeting your guide and small group at the meeting point near the National Stadium, you’ll set off to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam, in air-conditioned comfort.
You’ll start your tour of the former Thai capital at Bang Pa-In Palace, a 17th-century former summer retreat for Thai royals that’s surrounded by ponds and waterways.
Then, you’ll delve deeper into the rich history of temples, such as Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, and Wat Chaiwatthanaram.
Finally, you’ll return to your original meeting point in Bangkok.

The pick up time I was given was 7:00 am and they were there to pick us up at 6:40 the tour lady called me and I told her we would hurry as we were still getting ready she then sent me messages every 5 minutes to hurry up because traffic was going to be bad. When we get in the car she is almost yelling at us telling us that we still had to pick up from other three places and we were going to be stuck in traffic. Ummm excuse me I told her, HER team is the one that arranges the pick up NOT me! I completely understand traffic is bad but if they would’ve given us an earlier pick up time we would’ve been ready. I didn’t not appreciate getting yelled at 7am for something that was not my fault. Other than that the rest of the trip was fine.

We had an outstanding experience with our tour guide and driver. They provided exceptional service from beginning to end and truly made our trip enjoyable and stress-free. The were very accommodating to our preferences, allowing us to adjust our schedule, spend more or less time at the attractions depending on our interests and even recommending excellent local restaurants and massage places. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and professional. She shared history and cultural insights about the palace and temples we visited, making every stop much more meaningful. She also patiently helped us take photos throughout the trip. Thank you.

Jack took great carr of the group. I was pleasantly impressed by how much knowledge he had about the history of the sites and how much he liked to share his knowledge. We stopped at a local restaurant for lunch where the food and drinks were delicious and at a great price. Tuesday in low season was the day to do it as there were no crowds. I just recommend preparing for the heat and sun.

Our for guide and driver were 5*. Super knowledgeable, engaging and answered many questions. Driver was nimble and cautious.
4* is because the van was cramped. As a 5'10" person, i had to sit sideways as my knees were crashed into the back seat in front while seated as far back into the seat as i could. No foot room either as the front seats had no underneath room. Sitting cramped for 90+ minute rides cause leg cramping

My tour was cancelled in the last minute. I can not evaluate the tour. It was pretty challenging to book other tour for the same day because of the short notice.
However, I would recommend the tour. Ayutthaya is amazing.

The tour through Ayutthaya was great, our guide Pat was really nice and very knowledgeable, it could be hard to understand him sometimes though because of the accent but nothing deal breaking.
The restaurant were they took us to eat was pretty good as well. They took cash or card with a 3% fee, lunch was about 220 Baht per person with main dish and coconut water.

Cherry was very nice and interactive with the group. The driver was able to pick us up at the hotel which was very convenient. The lunch spot was also very nice with very kind staff and in ac. I appreciated that the tour provided water bottles mid way through the day.

Mr. Tee was a wonderful guide! He was very knowledgeable, his English was excellent and he was kind enough to share his background and how he came to be a tour guide. He was very kind to all the members of our group and took fantastic pictures of all of us at each site. He has a real talent for photography, as well as a great sense of humor. Our driver was excellent and we were kept safe at all times. He even navigated our group to the shady spots and made sure we were well hydrated on a very hot day. We would highly recommend Mr. Tee and his driver to anyone looking to take a tour in Thailand and learn about its rich history!

It was great to be picked up at my hotel by Tee 2 (the driver), as Bangkok is a very intimidating traffic congested place. Then Tee 1 (the tour guide) did a great job of explaining the tour acativities and made us feel very welcome. A great trip, the easiest I’ve had in Bangkok.

Uncle Tee (Mr. Tee, the tour guide) and Tee the driver were the BEST! Yes, they both have the same name. They’re both so knowledgeable, caring, funny, and just overall warm. They know the best eating spots and will make you feel like a local. I can not stress this enough: have a tour with Mr. Tee!!! He loves his craft and people. He’s also so uncle coded. I’m traveling solo so he took as many pictures of me as I wanted and lowkey I got the package of tour guide + photographer in one. Also, he has an overall interesting work history so ask him about that!

We enjoyed the experience. The van was good. The places visited were excellent. The tour guide is very good, she is great at taking pics. We would do this again. I would say it was 4.5 out of 5. The place chosen for lunch was great.
I would say it's 4.5 because a few things could be better. The pickup time is too early, we are holidays and 7:45 could be turned into 8:15 easy. We got home before 4:30, extend out for 30 minutes and get home a little later. Water - needs to add more than 1 bottle each. The tour guide is great, but felt a little rushed at certain times.

It was a very good, informative tour about the history of Thailand. We learned quite a bit and it filled the day. There was a bit too much walking for my 75 yr old father, but for most younger people it would be fine. There was a place for him to sit out one of the tours to recover a bit. Beware that the meeting point could be difficult to get to in the early morning. Our Grab dropped us off at the wrong place because of lane closures and because of a locked gate we couldn’t walk directly to the meeting point and had to walk 15 min around. Give yourself plenty of time.

Our tour guide, Jeerawat Muangyoo, gave an amazing and fun tour of historical Ayutthaya. Would definitely recommend if you are interested in Thai/Siam royal history.
Our total tour time was 6 hours, but this depends on the crowd at the temple sites. There are a lot oh pit stops with water/drinks if the heat is an issue.

Nice tour of some unique historical sites with Jack. Each site has some unique elements, but it's not always obvious, so it was very helpful to have an informed guide. Most of the sites don't have much shade, but they have loaner umbrellas available. Overall a very efficient and informative way to site these sites from Bangkok

My friend and I spent a Wonderful day visiting Ayutthaya and the summer place. We had always wanted to visit but pictures don’t do justice to the vastness. Angie was a fabulous guide and very knowledgeable. She had a warm and fun energy. Angie went above and beyond taking pictures of everyone and making sure everyone was hydrated on a hot day.. I’ve always had a good experience with Viator but this tour and guide were exceptional. Highly recommend this UNESCO site day trip..
