This was an amazing day. Apple met us in our hotel lobby and we discussed places we wanted to see. The day was truly flexible and there were 6 of us on our private tour. We then headed to the BTS sky train nad began our day. We started at Wat Arun, the Grand Palace (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) and then Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha). We traveled by boat between many spots and had lunch near the river. We were there in August so we were most concerned with rain. But, the humidity was worse than the rain. Luckily Apple started us early before it was too bad. She also shared other places and things to do while we were in town.

I highly recommend this tour, especially if it is your first visit to Bangkok (or Krung Thep as we learned locals call it!). Our guide, Peach, was excellent! She met us in the lobby of our hotel and we had a brief discussion to plan our day and make the most of it! We are a family of 5 (with 3 kids ages 8-12) and Peach knew just the right pace and balance of activities to keep everyone engaged all day (even despite jet lag!). She thought of every detail for our comfort from bottled water, to strategic bathroom breaks, cold towels, battery powered fans, and keeping us in the shade for stops along the way. We toured the Grand Palace, temple of the Emerald Buddha, had an amazing lunch at a nice restaurant by the river, took a long tail boat cruise, and finished with a visit to the temple of the Reclining Buddha! Peach negotiated an tuk tuk ride home for us to our hotel so all around transportation was very easy. Everything went very smoothly and was so beautiful! Peach was not only informative and knowledgeable proving a history and culture class, but she also made sure we took photos at all the best spots serving as our photographer all day! We now have tons of memories captured of all of us that we can treasure forever! Do not hesitate to book this private tour and customize it to your desired highlights! Enjoy!

Choochai was so great! He met us at our hotel and planned the day out with my input. We went to the Grand Palace and other temples, a fantastic long tail boat ride, a great lunch place he recommended, and an air conditioned boat ride up the river at the end of the day, ending at the SkyBar. We loved how he handled the rides, tuk tuks, tickets, and navigation. When my kids were tired of temples, he took us to a fun, young neighborhood to feel a different vibe. We had a weekend to spend in Bangkok and wanted to squeeze in as much as possible whilst retaining an authentic feeling and avoiding the tourist traps. We felt the best way of doing this was booking a local guide and we were so lucky to have Lekky as our guide for the day. She contacted me via WhatsApp before hand to get an idea of what we would be interested in. She met us at our hotel and spent time getting to know us and organised an amazing day out. As we had her to ourselves, we could stop where and when we wanted. We saw the main famous landmarks in Bangkok and she was able to regail us with her historical knowledge. Her English was excellent. She even organised a canal trip for us - we had the boat to ourselves! It was really hot but she made sure we could all take rest when needed. She was also amazing at taking pictures - usually I am the one taking pics and we never get any family shots - but we had amazing pictures taken by her which she What's Apped me at the end of the day. Lunch was fantastic and she helped us negotiate my son's severe nut allergy when ordering. She even took us shopping as my son wanted to get a special order belt. Honestly...I can't recommend her enough. She was absolutely lovely and super fun!

What an amazing tour of Bangkok! Every time we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we were pleasantly surprised with another incredible experience. Our guide, TK, was the key to making this such a memorable day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and truly listened to what we wanted to see and experience—then exceeded every expectation. We visited the magnificent Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and Wat Pho, learning so much about Thai history, culture, and traditions along the way. One of the highlights was taking a private canal boat tour, which allowed us to see hidden gems of Bangkok that most visitors never get to experience. We ended the day at a family-run Thai restaurant that has been serving guests for 68 years. Thanks to TK’s recommendations, we enjoyed some of the most delicious food of our entire trip.
