Amazing day! Lots of snorkeling, paddle boards, and kayak available. Loved sitting on top of the boat watching the sunset, just beautiful! The bioluminescent plankton were really cool. Great crew, super friendly and helpful. Dinner was great. Highly recommended!

The best tour I have ever been on. I would highly, highly recommend. You go to the best spots with no one else around, and get plenty of time to snorkel, swim and use the paddleboard. The owners and all the staff are so kind, friendly and so accomodating. No complaints whatsoever

Cruise to four islands along the Krabi coastline during this sunset tour, departing from Ao Nang or Railay. Itinerary

Depart from a central location in Ao Nang or Railay for a 6-hour sunset cruise around the stunning coastline of Krabi. Prepare to wade in shallow water to board a long-tail boat, which transports you to a century-old Thai wooden junk.

You'll make your way to five islands near Railay: Koh Poda, Koh Gai, Koh Si, Ko Yawasam, and Ta Ming. Stop for snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding, or simply relax on the teak deck and take in the views. You can do as much or as little as you like.

Fruit and snacks are served along with free-flowing water, juice, and soft drinks. Sip a cocktail or beer from the bar on board to accompany your provided Thai buffet dinner (vegetarian options are available).

Finish the day by sailing back toward the Railay Peninsula while watching the sun set over the Andaman Sea. After dark you can swim in the bioluminescent waters next to Pranang Beach. Afterward, you're delivered back to shore with drop-off at the starting point.

Awesome day for my wife and I. We were greeted by Nicole and escorted to our long tail transfer to the boat. She was super friendly and very engaging. The entire day is exactly as described. The boat staff were super friendly and welcoming. The boat is beautiful and unique while spacious enough to not feel crowded. Every stop we made was fun and fit the descriptions. The boat staff came out at each stop and accompanied us in kayaks and standup paddle boards. They were very helpful with pointing out the best places to go along with taking photos for everyone. Later we were able to use the paddle boards to head over to a small island before the sunset. The food was absolutely delicious with full allergy info and vegetarian options for my wife. The beauty of the islands is in describable, you need to see for yourself. I would recommend this trip to family and friends. Great environment for everyone of all ages. This was one of our favorite tours our entire trip. The staff on the boat honestly make all of the difference in how much fun you have and Michael has a top notch team!

Fun island tour

This is a great island tour, going to islands not as common or crowded as other tours. Michael, the owner, was very involved and helpful with the guests, making sure we had a fun time. The boat has a lot more space to get up and move around than most island tours, as well as equipment like stand up paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel equipment. I highly recommend this tour and this company - they were exceptional!

Highlight of our Krabi trip

This was honestly the highlight of our trip to Krabi. The boat was fantastic, the snorkeling was so much fun, and they had an excellent equipment ready for us and even had hair ties if you happen to forget one, which was such a thoughtful touch. The snorkel spots were awesome and you have a good amount of time to explore. We saw so many varieties of fish and sea life. The food and bar was great, and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the day. The bioluminescent swim was as such a special experience and a perfect way to end the day. Could not recommend this operator more highly.

Great excursion

This was a fantastic excursion. The owner and the crew were fun, organized, and very attentive. Whenever we were in the water, many of their staff were right there so that everyone was safe. The food was fantastic. It was so great to be on a boat where we could climb to the top and watch the sunset. Seeing the bioluminescent fish was a highlight. This was one of my favorite activities that we did in Thailand.

Amazing experience. The boat itself is a beautiful, authentic junk sailboat. Daytime snorkeling was great, but the highlight was sitting on the rooftop at golden hour, drink in hand, watching the sky go full orange and pink over the limestone karsts. Hard to overstate how good that was. Then after dinner, night snorkeling with bioluminescent plankton. Very, very cool. Food was a delicious Thai buffet with real allergen-friendly options (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan). Equipment is provided for everyone, including prescription goggles, and you don’t need to be a strong swimmer. The crew will tow you to shore and back if needed, which is a nice touch. Michael, Lila, and the whole crew were knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely welcoming - the kind of people who make a good experience a great one. Highly recommend!

This was hands down the best outdoor experience I’ve had in years. Michael and his team are phenomenal hosts whose hospitality went above and beyond. They provide top-tier equipment, including thoughtful touches like prescription goggles and high-quality paddleboards. As beginners, we felt completely supported thanks to the crew, a huge shoutout to Pepe for helping us navigate! The snorkeling was pristine and uncrowded, the nighttime bioluminescence was breathtaking, and the food was excellent. This tour is worth every penny.

Worth every penny

Had the best afternoon/evening on this tour. We took a long tail boat to the larger ship and once on board were offered drinks and water while we waited for the other long tail to arrive. The boat itself is spectacular with plenty of seating in the sun and shade. There’s also a roof they allow you to sit on and have cushions as well. We made our way to the first snorkel spot and after taking a few boat trips in Krabi this was the best by far. It was such a smooth ride and the views were incredible. The snorkel spots we went to were amazing and no other groups were there. We ended at poda island for sunset and had the option to stay on the boat or swim/paddle board to the secret beach. The views were beautiful! Our last stop with the plankton was very cool as well. All of the crew were amazing and really went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a good time while also keeping us safe. Would definitely recommend!

Our three-generational family group of 11 just recently returned from a week's vacation in Ao Nang, with this boat excursion planned as the final highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, we grandparents were unable to participate due to a last-minute health issue, but our children and grandchildren were absolutely thrilled by their day with Michael and his crew, visiting several beautiful bays and beaches, snorkelling, kayaking, stand-up paddling, jumping off the roof of the junk and much more. The always attentive crew were in the water with the swimmers, helping with equipment and assisting less confident snorkelers. The delicious dinner and snacks were much enjoyed. Every need was met, including very effective anti-seasickness pills for those affected. A fantastic time was had by all, and our gang highly recommends this memorable experience.

Unforgettable Trip with amazing crew

This tour was absolutely magical and easily one of the highlights of my Krabi trip. The 4 Islands route was stunning, crystal clear water, dramatic limestone cliffs, and plenty of time to snorkel and relax at each stop. The snorkeling spots were beautiful, with colorful fish and great visibility. The sunset cruise was next-level. Watching the sun slowly dip behind the islands while cruising the Andaman Sea was incredibly peaceful and romantic. The crew was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Snacks and refreshments were a nice touch too.

Phenomenal tour… The boat was incredible (a 100-year old wooden ship), the crew was amazing, and Captain Michael was fun and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating for everyone, including various food preferences and allergies, and they even had pirate hats and swords for a couple of little ones on our tour. We saw a pile of marine life while snorkeling, including moray eels, parrot fish, and even a few sharks! And the night swim in the bioluminescent algae was mind-blowing… it was like swimming through stars! 10/10 trip, and should not be missed!

It was a wonderful experience. We got to snorkel twice and saw several different kinds of fish. Michael, the owner was very attentive and introduced himself to everybody on board. The whole crew was very good and always asking if anyone needed anything. They had paddle boards and kayaks if you didn’t want to snorkel. And if you weren’t sure about being in the water, they were willing to help you with the snorkeling and or paddle boarding, they had drinks available non-alcoholic, but you could pay for alcoholic drinks, and they had snacks as well when we came in from snorkeling and our kayaking. And they also had prepared a meal for us on the boat. The one downfall was due to the moon being out the plankton weren’t as easy to see. But overall, it was a really great trip. Highly recommended.

A fantasic afternoon at sea

This is a must do trip while visiting Kraby. You shuttle in a longtail boat to the main vessel. It has a pirate sailing ship vibe with plenty of shaded seating for 25-30 guests with plenty of room to walk around. We sailed to a few different islands with excellent snorkeling. We were always the only boat in the area, so there were no crowds. We finished the afternoon with a swim to a fun beach while the crew prepared a tasty Thai dinner. After sunset we had the option to do a swim in the bioluminescent plancton. Michael and Dominique were our main crew contacts. Both were extremely engaging and knowledgeable. They were with us always while we were in the water, assuring our safety and making sure we saw the best and avoided any not so good areas. The snorkeling gear, SUPs and toys were all first class. By far the best snorkeling trip.

10/10 experience! I can’t recommend this tour enough. The boat, the vibe, the crew, the islands, the food- all of it exceeded expectations. We did a speedboat tour the day before and it didn’t hold a candle to this tour. There’s room on the boat for everyone to be comfortable, have the view you want and the staff is extremely personable and attentive. Do this tour.

Krabi Sunset Cruises was nothing short of extraordinary and easily ranks as the best experience of all our travels so far. We absolutely loved the barge—looks straight out of a piratemovie, and it set the perfect tone for the day: relaxed, beautiful, and comfortable. The entire experience was flawlessly organized, yet it never felt rushed or rigid. Somehow everything ran like clockwork while still feeling incredibly laid back, which is a rare and wonderful balance. The crew deserve special praise—every single person was super kind, super helpful, and genuinely warm, always attentive without ever being intrusive. The snorkeling equipment was top quality, and the snorkeling itself exceeded all expectations. We were lucky enough to encounter multiple black-tipped reef sharks, which was thrilling and unforgettable. One thing we truly admired was the crew’s approach to conservation. While keeping everything relaxed and fun, the crew kindly but firmly encouraged everyone to avoid interfering with or damaging the reef. They also cleaned rubbish left by other people from the beach we visited. That really showed how much they care about the marine environment, and we appreciated that deeply. To cap of the trip, we went snorkeling with bioluminescent plankton after dark. It was pure magic and something we will never forget. The food was delicious, with plenty of veggie and vegan options, which was very much appreciated. Every detail felt thoughtful, generous, and well considered. All in all, this experience ticks every box you could possibly wish for—and somehow still manages to surprise you with extra magic along the way. If you’re even considering booking this trip, don’t hesitate. Just do it. You won’t regret it.
