What are people saying about Rio de Janeiro

Great tour of Rio de Janeiro with Alessandro
This tour with Alessandro and Victor was awesome. The tour took us to Christ Redeemer which is breathtaking in person. Next, we drove by where the largest Carnival is held and onto Maracana Stadium for a quick photo. We then visited The Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio which is absolutely beautiful to see inside. Then we went to the Saleron steps (stairs) where we were able to shop for souvenirs and sightseeing. The lunch was delicious and you will not leave hungry from the spread. Lastly, we were off to the mountains of Unca and Sugarloaf for the amazing views of the city. Overall, very nice trip and would do again.

Great birthday treat
What a great day out .Lorraine and our driver really made the day special. The weather helped I suppose. Pick up was bang on time even though we had to make our own way there, the coach was spotless and very comfortable. The trip was for my birthday and it was certainly made special by everyone.

Rio highlights tour!
This tour is a great way to see the 3 main highlights in Rio in one day and for convenience. The Seleron steps, Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf mountain. Driver and guide were great and the lunch was also very very good with lots of choice and options.

Informative, Well-Organized, and Unforgettable
Our tour guide, LETICIA SAMPAIO, was amazing!
I had an incredible full day experience on this Rio de Janeiro tour! It was the perfect balance of sightseeing and learning, and I walked away with a much deeper appreciation for the city’s history, culture, and energy. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, and the guide was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Rio.
From iconic landmarks to local insights you wouldn’t get on your own, the tour was informative without ever feeling overwhelming. Everything ran smoothly.
If you’re visiting Rio and want a comprehensive, enriching experience, I highly recommend this tour. It truly exceeded my expectations!

Great Day Trip
This is a nice little boat getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of Rio for a day. The bus picked us up right in front of our hotel and it was about a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to the boat location. The bus was very comfortable and allowed you to rest. On the way there, we were able choose optional activities (for a fee). I chose to jet ski and have my picture taken with the fishes. The prices were very reasonable. The actual boat was 3 decks and spacious enough to fit around 40 people comfortably. There was good music playing and a fully stocked bar to purchase drinks. There were 4 different spots where we were able to do the activities and swim in the ocean if we wanted. Stop 3 is where we were served lunch. It was buffet style with a decent selection of options. We did have to pay for drinks and dessert if you wanted them. After the last stop, we were able to catch a beautiful sunset over the ocean. We were dropped off at our hotel around 8pm. The experience was definitely worth the money.

Issac was an excellent...
Issac was an excellent guide and despite my dad and I being the only 2 English speakers on the trip, he did his best to keep us included and felt welcome. The trip was very organized. Lunch was delicious. Every stop was done with enough time to enjoy it well. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone visiting Rio without much time in their stay.

A perfect day in Rio
We traveled with our five children, ages 12-23. Flavia was our guide and she was wonderful! We had pre-purchased early am tickets to Christ the Redeemer so we skipped a huge line and she had tips for other sites as well to avoid lines and see things we didn't know about but loved. Flavia had a lot of creative tips for taking amazing photos of us all with the sites and also took a lot of photos with her camera that she sent me after the tour. She recommended the Carnaval experience which was definitely worth seeing but we waited there awhile which unfortunately cut into our over all tour time. It takes awhile to board trams, drive to the various sites, etc. so even with opting to skip lunch, we ended up paying for an extra hour but it was all worth it! We only had a few days in Rio and this was the perfect way to spend one and ensure we saw all the highlights!

Awesome day!!
This tour is well worth the money it was an amazing day saw lots of things. The company bent over backwards to pick us up at our hotel which was far far away from their usual pickup place and booked us an Uber to drive us home. That was very much appreciated.

Beautiful beaches
The beach and the snorkeling stops were beautiful the water was crystal clear. The boat sells drinks and food I would recommend buying from there as the included lunch was not that great food was stale and seemed do be old. The entire trip was in Portuguese however my tour guide and all of the boat crew kept a close eye on me and made sure I understood everything that was important. I would definitely do this again the buses are clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing.

Amazing tour!
Amazing tour, a side of Rio that you definitely need to see. I’m not really sure if the tour was great, or our amazing tour guide Emma made it be amazing. She is the best tour guide that we have for a very long time, thank you Emma and thank you for showing us your beautiful country!

Wonderful day
Guilherme and his driver were absolutely wonderful. I travel with a portable oxygen concentrator and walker, and they went out of their way to make sure that everything was as easy as possible, and that I was able to participate in all of the activities. I can’t believe that he speaks so many languages and was able to keep up with everybody. He was able to answer all of our questions and shared lots of history and stories with us. Lunch was in a nice restaurant and food was great. It was a long day, but was definitely well worth it as we covered quite a bit!

Great Change of Scenery from Rio
Be prepared for a long pickup process...not a complaint, just a fact to accommodate everyone's hotel pickup. The ride is then 1 1/2 hours. There is a break on the highway. When you get to Petropolis, there is a quick stop for photos at Quitandina Palace, so no entry fee, next we went to the Santos Dumas Museum, which is worth the very small entry fee. And then cross the street for a quick break at Katz's Chocolate store. Next was a visit inside the cathedral, and free buffet lunch nearby. The highlight of the day was the Imperial Palace, where we spent an hour. The visit to Crystal Palace was for a quick photo as it has nothing inside. Finally, the group either went to the brewery or to shop on Rue Teresa. Too tired to shop, we had coffee and strudel across the street from the meeting point at a Hungarian café. Only a few went to the brewery. We left Petrpolis at 6:30 and arrived back at our hotel at 8pm. The guide amazingly switched between English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and was very humorous and animated. She kept us on time and watched over us as our "Brazilian Mother" for the day.
