Luís Darin was a terrific guide. After 3 days of private tours we found it difficult to see sites we had not already seen. Luís came up with some good ones for us an managed to make the whole day exciting. Our favorite “off the beat” activity was our trip to the Botanical Gardens (Note: admission to the gardens is not included in tour price) but was well worth the cost. Simply beautiful. Aside from that, Luís was a regular Tarzan. He could identify every plant & tree, every animal making a noise, and even make animal calls to attract the animals for photos. He also took us to various markets and to the St Teresa district for a traditional Brazilian lunch. Great guide. Highly recommend him

Danny is an incredible guide knowing all the best spots to see and where to get the best pictures, often off the usual tourist trails. If you are in Rio and looking for a guide Danny is your man, he will tailor the tour as you require and give you a great day seeing the sights in the city. We’ve been lucky enough to do many tours all over the world but honestly this has been one of the best.

Danny was an exceptional guide—deeply knowledgeable about the history of Rio de Janeiro, incredibly friendly, and always ready to help capture the perfect photo. Our tour included a scenic drive through the lush Tijuca Forest, where we visited the tranquil Cachoeiras do Horto and even spotted a curious capuchin monkey near the Chinese View! We immersed ourselves in the vibrant Carnaval experience, admired the stunning St. Francis Church, and marveled at the grandeur of the Portuguese Reading Room.
Lunch at Bar Amarelinho was delicious and authentic, followed by a delightful coffee and dessert break at the iconic Confeitaria Colombo. We also visited the impressive Sambadrome, rounding out a day full of culture, nature, and unforgettable memories! We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rio!

Luis gave us an incredible tour of Rio de Janeiro! We marveled at Christ the Redeemer, took in panoramic views from Sugarloaf Mountain, and wandered through the colorful Selarón Steps. He also guided us through the charming neighborhood of Santa Teresa and the striking Saint Sebastian Cathedral. Along the way, we tasted authentic Brazilian cuisine and learned fascinating stories about the city's rich history. Luis's passion and deep knowledge made the experience unforgettable. Danny was exceptional from start to finish. He contacted us in advance to plan the trip, ensuring every detail was covered. Some of the sights we wanted to see were closed because of renovations and an international conference happening on the tour day. Danny informed us in the pre-planning and suggested alternatives.
When unexpected rainfall threatened to derail our plans, Danny seamlessly reorganized the itinerary so we didn't miss a thing. He provided insightful information about Rio de Janeiro and all the sights we visited. His flexibility to customize the tour to our needs was greatly appreciated. One of the best tour guides and tours we have ever experience in our years of travel. Danny welcomed us with his sunny personality and impeccable english and this continued throughout the tour. He took us to every site on the itinerary and was very thorough in his explanations and historical data. We viewed the panoramic beauty of Rio de Janiero from almost every point of interest in Rio. We enjoyed some local beverages , sipping it in the beautiful ambience of Copacabana Beach and at a Cafe on Sugarloaf Mountain. The magnificence of the San Raphael Cathedral, Seralon Steps and Christ the Redeemer left us in awe and are not to be missed. Danny's love for and devotion to Rio de Janeiro was quite evident in the manner in which he took every opportunity to discuss tourism, history, politics and the economy. We thank you, Danny for a wonderful 2 days and will definitely recommend anyone visiting Rio de Janiero take a tour of Rio with you.

Wonderful experience. Knowledgeable tour guide. Just make sure to ask for prices before tour guide purchases anything on your behalf. We were left with sticker shock on lunch. Otherwise he was an excellent host. Took us to all the sites.

We booked an entire day with Daniel for our touring.
He was our guide and driver. He showed up at our hotel on time at 8 am. The first stop was at Christ the redeemer. It is better to start early so you miss the crowds. I was glad he suggested we start at 8 am and not 9am like I had planned. This place opens at 7:30 am my suggestion is that you be picked up at 7:30 am to be there by 8 am to avoid the lines. Daniel helped us navigate thru the crowds and it was super crowded at 8:30 am when we arrived
Lines to go up to the top was reasonable short but at the top it was crowded. Amazing experience
After that we went to Sugarloaf
Make sure you buy the fast pass so you don’t have to wait in line. Worth every penny
We went right up and passed all lines like we were royalty
After we saw Sugarloaf we were done sightseeing for the day. Just those two places took us about five hours. It Daniel had other items planned out if we wanted to continue
I would definitely recommend him as a guide. He is licensed and knowledgeable

Our guide Luis was very experienced and knowledgeable. He asked our priorities and interests at the beginning of the tour and arranged everything we wanted. I have been to Rio several times before and wanted to show my family the city. We covered all of the great spots in a private car. Luis sprinkled stories of Brazilian history, tips on enjoying Rio and he spotted wildlife and explained all of the plants and trees. We covered much more than I expected.
