Beth was a phenomenal guide and provided us with the best private tour we have ever had. She was personable, knowledgeable, and very conscious of our safety and well-being at all times. She was beyond helpful in shopping in local markets, providing us with pricing suggestions, and with navigating the buy/sell process in Rio; as it is different from other countries we have visited. Beth was also a skilled photographer and help provide us with photos that we will treasure forever. Can’t recommend Beth Banho enough. Be sure to request her for your guide.

We had an excellent guide Diogo and driver Beth. They customized the tour and helped us see many unique and wonderful parts of Rio. Despite the rain, we had an amazing day with wonderful guides. We booked a separate tour with the same company and also enjoyed our time with Igor. Everyone was friendly and gave great history and current events info.

We had a very nice experience with our tour guide - Alex. He was very knowledgeable and took us to exactly where we wanted to visit. The national park is very nice and serene and visited the waterfall that was very impressive. Would recommend this company and tour guide.

In general a good additional day, if you have visited places like Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Rio Cathedral. Flexible in places to visit, enabling you to tailor to your own likes.

We let out guide Diogo choose most of our day. We did the Maze, the Carnival Experience, the monastery, and cathedral. Our lunch was nice and we drove the whole beach from Copacabana to Leblon. Fun day!

A great tour seeing some interesting bits of Rio away from the signature sights. We had an excellent guide (Lucas) and a really good driver (Brian) . We thought the day was good value.

We took this Private tour as it was advertised as an 8-9 hour tour.. We were picked up at our hotel at 8.30am. After visiting several sites, we were brought to wait in front of a restaurant for lunch at 11.35am. We started lunch at 12nn and finished at 1.25pm. We were dropped back at the hotel at 1.30pm. We were shocked that the tour concluded so quickly. To be fair to the travel guide, he explained that this tour was based on the number of destinations selected and visited rather than on the total time spent on the tour. However, we were not convinced as the total time spent for the tour is also a function of how much time we spend at each site visited. Anyone interested in this PRIVATE TOUR should confirm with the operator on how much time they plan to spend with you on the tour.

The guide Rafael was fabulous.
He knew so much about everything, His English was superb.
The driverJohnny was excellent. He certainly knew his way around.

What an amazing tour, our guide Wagner was brilliant very knowledgeable took us to a samba school where they were getting ready for the carnival which we found very interesting, also visited the library and some stunning view points we would highly recommend this tour.

What a great day! Diogo and Romollo looked after us really well and took us to some excellent and easily missed gems. They form a great team and are fun to be with. The lunch stop they advised was a great local historic restaurant. I cant recommend these guys highly enough. We’ve been in Rio for 5 days when we took this tour and had been on the main tours ie Christ the Redemer etc on all other days and although there was a little duplication in the advertised schedule , when discussed with Diogo , he was very flexible and adjusted his tour accordingly to avoid any duplication.

Just spent Day 1 of 2 with Gabi and Carlos (Guide and Driver) on a fully customized tour. Saw Sugar Loaf, Steps, Cathedral, Monastery, Santa Teresa, and one other photo op at the Maze. Gabi contacted us early and understood what we liked in terms of our trips regarding where we wanted to spend our time. Had just the right level of history and facts blended with photo ops. Excellent going team!

Diogo was one of the best guide ever. We also took a favela visit, which was very safe. We even visitied a couple living there. Although it was raining, we had a great time, and the view to the favela from their terrace was amazing.

A fabulous full day really packed the sights on. Tatiana tailored it to our interests but still making sure we saw everything unique to Rio. Driver was excellent getting in and out of tight spots eg selaron stairs. Highlight of the tour tailored to our interests was going to the Maze fabulous mosaics and interesting to see inside a favela. Tatiana was lovely and extremely knowledgeable as our guide. Highly recommend this private

My experience on this personal tour with my tour guide Tatiana was excellent. She took us to hidden gyms throughout Rio, and she was very informative and knowledgeable about the countries, history that tied in to the entire personal tour. When I do come back, I will definitely be using her as my tour guide again.

Great day trip seeing sights like Tijuca Forest, Palace and Gardens, Maracana, Selaron Steps etc.
Our guide Fabiana was very accommodating and flexible, as was the driver.
Top tip, bring some insert repellant for the rain forest.

The absolute best tour I ’ve taken (done lots with viator) EVER!! It was my husband and teen son and because it’s customizable you see what you want. First time in Rio so it was so helpful that our tour guide Igor recommended best sites … Igor is not only extremely knowledgeable, kind and fun hearted … we had an incredible time! Saw so much historic, architectural, sports, nature & art , immersed in the culture … if you are looking for a tour this is the one!! Worth every penny! Request Igor!!!!

Our guide-driver was great and took us to places untouched by tour groups and which we never would have found on our own. We proposed what we wanted to see and do, and we were able to do all of that. I highly recommend this tour.

Igor was my tour guide and Fabio was the driver. I had absolutely wonderful experience despite the fact that it was raining the whole day. Igor is very knowledgeable and he managed to tailor the tour to make the most out of it on a rainy. I can’t recommend him enough! And Fabio did everything possible to avoid traffic. I also requested Igor and Fabio for the tour of the Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer and had the most amazing time.

Buen paseo sin multitudes en los lugares visitados, Jean Carlos nos mantuvo entretenidos durante todo el tour. En lo único que deberían ser más flexibles , me refiero a la agencia y no al guia, es dejar decidir al cliente lo que quiere comer en el almuerzo. Entiendo que tienen acuerdos con los restaurantes pero al final se trata de satisfacer al cliente.
