We had a nice and comfortable ride on the tour with adequate air conditioning. Leticia our guide was very knowledgeable and patient at each exhibit. We had adequate time at the main attractions. In addition, the food and serive was was very good the restaurant. The shopping for souvenirs was light. This tour is highly recommended.

Itinerary

In the morning, meet your guide and group directly at your hotel in the South or West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Hop aboard your air-conditioned van, and set off for a full day of exploring.

After driving along Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, travel through the lush Tijuca Forest. Along the way, make a stop at Paineiras to embark on a journey to the summit of Corcovado Mountain, where the Christ the Redeemer statue awaits. Admire spectacular views overlooking the city while you're there.

Next, travel to other highlight Rio de Janeiro sights, including stops outside Maracana Stadium and the Sambadrome, plus visits to the Selarón Steps and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian

If you've opted to extend the tour, ascend to new heights as your ride the cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. Then, savor a traditional Brazilian steakhouse buffet lunch.

Lots of queuing we did expect this but it ruined experience. Meal so rushed at first waiters coming every 2 minutes with beef beef we had no idea what we were eating. Maybe a lanyard with cut of beef or photos would be good. Also we sat in restaurant for a long long time so why the manic rush to serve the meat? Having said that Meal was very nice and fresh salad buffet very good. Van very uncomfortable and restrictive view from back seats as we were almost last to be picked up. Maybe don't fill all seats in van especially the back seats Guide looked bored most of the time and gave minimal information about Rio. I learnt more from internet. All in all disappointed in the day and it's not cheap.

Hotel pick up was seamless and the guide set up a WhatsApp group up son we all knew times etc. picked up on time straight to Christ the redeemer, off to the steps, the Centro a decent buffet lunch and the highlight for us Sugar loaf mountain cable cars. Great Tour Seeing More than the Main Attractions

Sandra was absolutely wonderful! The tour was great and included things that were so interesting to see that I wouldn't have done on my own. In addition to the two main attractions of Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf, it was so interesting to see downtown Rio, the Olympic Stadium, the cathedral, and the Selaron stairs. Sandra is very knowledgeable. The group chat she created made communication easy. I appreciated her sharing the live location for a more accurate pick-up time, as traffic conditions are unpredictable. My only suggestion is that it would be helpful for her to text after each pick-up and then provide an ETA for the next pick-up, since sometimes live location doesn't update accurately. But everything was wonderful, and I highly recommend!

It's an overall great experience. Specially for solo travelers. Our guide Cristiane was so kind and nice, she speaks perfect english and spanish and gave us great insights of the city. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Its amazing to get an overview of Río so you can enjoy other spots like the beaches and the forrests for the rest of your trip. I wish the tour could include the Royal library instead of a stop at the Maracana Stadium as it's normally closed an you only see the outside really. But that's a personal preference. It was still a great experience for sure

Long lines but a wonderful experience I would recommend! I was picked up timely from the hotel. We did the full day tour. Enrique was the guide. My only compliant was that he can be difficult to keep up with, particularly if you are older. He disappeared from my line of sight, at one point in the tour. He said he does not like to use a 'marker' that can be held up & used to identify where he is in a crowd. There were very large crowds on the tour. Otherwise he is a good guide👍.

Excellent tour

With only three days in Rio, I wanted a tour that hit the main sights, was good value and would meet my expectations. This tour ticked all those boxes. We had Matheus as our guide. He kept the day ticking along, gave lots of clear and concise information and made sure we saw everything we wanted to. We had enough time at all the main sights (Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf) and taking a tour where all the tickets were provided was a real bonus and saved stress. The lunch was good and I'm glad I went for the option. If you are looking for a well-led, properly organised and good value tour to see the main sights of Rio - this is it.

Very Attentive Tour Guide

(1) The tours were spectacular!!! (2) The tour guide was great at his job. He was awesome. He was excellent and attentive to all his tourist clients. I, along with others, needed assistance and he was very kind, supportive, and instrumental. He has excellent customer service. However, the food was disappointing. We expected hot food, but it was all cold food. Only the meat was hot. I tried chicken which was not not cooked well-done, not seasoned, but it was salted!!! Nothing was cooked with barbecue. But it was supposed to be a Barbecue Buffet Lunch. I was surprised that there was no barbecue at a barbecue event, which was disappointing. They could have grilled/cooked the meats with barbecue sauce and should have used less salt which would have given meats flavor. Most of the foods were salty. I would highly recommend this tour to others, but I would also warn them about what's lacking with the food.

What an amazing experience! I got to see the Christ the Redeemer statue which was huge in size. The Saleron steps were very crowded and hard to get a photo. The barbecue food was good. If you're a meat eater, then this is the best option for you. If you are Pescatarean like me, limited seafood options. And Sugar Loaf Mountain had spectacular views of the city. My tour guide Leandro was very patient and informative. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour.

This was an interesting tour! We had a great guide who spoke 3 languages and he told us lots of facts/ stories about the history of Rio including stories of the Tijuca area, the mountsins, the kings and the indigenous people of Brazil and the influence from other countries. We had a bright sunny day and we were very lucky with the weather ! We saw the statue on a very clear day ! We had blue sky early and a lovely clear dsy throughout! all our stops along the way went well. Bring lots of water ias it can get very hot and muggy.

A good guide could not rescue the tour from poor organisation

This tour proved that the TripAdvisor Traveller Choice award can be misleading. It was, without doubt, the worst‑organized tour I’ve ever experienced. We started with high hopes when the vehicle arrived at the hotel exactly on time, but the problems began almost immediately. On the way to Christ the Redeemer, the van inexplicably stopped near a building and sat idle for 15  minutes with no explanation. Once we reached the site, we waited another 30 minutes while the staff obtained tickets before we could even join the line to the statue. Given that other groups from the same company were present, it’s hard to understand why no one was sent ahead to secure tickets in advance. Our group required bilingual commentary, yet the guide struggled to convey information in both languages within the limited time, greatly reducing the value of having a guide. A simple checklist of key talking points for each stop would have helped keep the narration focused and efficient. Lunch presented another hiccup. Because guests chose different meal combos and no pre‑assigned seating list existed, the guide had to verify each person’s selection individually before escorting them to their seats, causing further delays. The final straw occurred at Sugarloaf Mountain. Two tourists had not paid for their tickets, and the staff spent 40 minutes trying to collect the money. When that failed, the guests were told to buy tickets directly at the counter—a step that could have been handled beforehand. It’s baffling how the tour was sold to those guests without confirming full payment first. Overall, the lack of basic organizational procedures caused repeated delays at every stop and unnecessarily prolonged the entire tour.

This was exactly what we were looking for during our couple days in Rio. We hit the main sights, and it all was coordinated efficiently and effectively by our guide. Speaking of which, our poor guide had to deal with people not showing up at agreed meeting times all day long- it’s not that hard people!!! Even with tardy other travelers he did a great job and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to fill a day seeing the highlights of Rio with a local who handles all the logistics.

The best tour and tour guides we have ever experienced and we have visited a lot of places!!!

An awesome and best way to explore Rio in a day! The tour was amazing, we managed to tick so many places off our list whilst still feeling very relaxed as we travelled place to place! Translation was also provided all day (English and Spanish) which meant you didn't miss out. They also looked after my Dad well by ensuring he could sit instead of queuing at Christ the Redeemer, both on the way up and down (this helped him to enjoy the day without undue pain). We were also informed of the history of Rio, from the Portugeuse and the many French and Duetch battles. Its a lot to cover so the buffet lunch is a great way to address the appetite and enjoy some bbq!! The priority boarding at sugarloaf was also a nice treat, saving on queue time !!! And the views, so breath taking, if we had more time, we would do it again!!
