Spent far too long waiting collecting other members of the group. The 2 attractions we visited before 3pm were far too long. (Christ the redeemer and Sugar loaf) We had been told lunch would be at 13:30 we actually arrived at the restaurant 15:30. The guide was friendly but shared little information about the history or culture. Most of us left the tour after lunch as it was dragging on far too long. This trip was over priced and lacked the professionalism other city tours we have experienced. Note the ticket for Sugar Loaf is an additional 190 real per person.

Did not show up!!!!! Waste of half of our first day in RJ. Reached out to them twice, no response. Asked Viator to confirm they had our booking after an hour of waiting and according to Viator, Pepe tours told them they were 10 min away from picking us up. Another hour of waiting determined that was a lie… Woke up early to get to the meeting place on time after limited sleep the night before for nothing. Gross

Experience with the local tour operator is not good. I was missed to be picked up by the tour bus and I had to hire a costly taxi to reach to the next stop.

We had a completely rainy day, but we continued with the tour we had booked. Isabela was incredibly cheerful and turned it into a lovely and memorable experience.

The company never came to pick us up. We had been waiting ten minutes prior to the agreed pick up time and decided to call it quits after an hour and a bit of waiting for pick up. This is despite the tour having been confirmed and pick up agreed upon in the days prior.

Such a fun time! It takes a long time to gather everyone in the morning. It would be best for everyone to meet at the same time and place. The tour is great. Isabella was amazing! Made it fun, singing and dancing. And telling us about the city’s historic places. Thank you!

Same story as the others. They didn’t show up, they didn’t respond to texts or calls. Just buy a ticket for Christ the redeemer and go yourself. Sugarloaf is fine too the other stuff is just filler and at the end of the day you wasted 8 hours of your very limited vacation time

Very disappointing and ruined one day of our vacation because no one came to pick us up and we could not contact the tour operator via the phone number listed with our tour! I demand a full refund and an explanation. How inconsiderate to just not show up or answer any of my messages.

Loved this experience, had such a great day & we were taken to all the major sites. Our tour guide was great with lots of information, the highlight was getting engaged at Christ the Redeemer.

Agree with the below reviews. This tour company consistently let people book but don’t show up. I tried to get in contact for 36 hours and no one responded. Waited 90min the day of and didn’t show up. Texted me then and acted surprised that we didn’t know that the tour is cancelled

I received a email of confirmation the day before, when the day came for our tour we arrived promptly at 07:45. Soon it was 8:15 am and still no sign of our bus. We were convinced the company was just running late so we began calling and sending text messages but received no response. Before you know it minutes turned to hours and it was now 10:00 am and still no word from the company and no bus. Few moments later the company sent a text saying there was no tour for today and it was canceled. No apology and no mention of a refund. We will attempt to get our money back but future customers beware of this unprofessional and inconsiderate company.

The tour was confirmed, but they never came to pick me up, I waited for 1 hour and half in the meeting point for nothing. And it was impossible to contact the tour operator, even for the agent of Viator!!!

Terrible. Never showed up. Left us hanging. Didn't even message or call us. Tried calling them, emailing, chatting, even had Viator support try and reach out but were ignored. Wasted an entire day waiting for them at the lobby. Don't book this. Book something else. Wast of money

this is the good tour to see the main sites in Rio for cheap, but learning and efficiency are lacking. I waited over an hour for pick up, with no way to get a response from the operator. I wrote messages the day before and day of, confirming pick up times, but nobody bothered to respond. The tour also picks up and drops off people signed up for one activity, so there's a lot of waiting at hotels, even after the tour begins. The guide was very nice and sweet, but with limited English and speak in Portuguese, Spanish and English for the guests.

Pickup worked quite well. Overall the tour was okay, for people with not much time in Rio you can see the most important sights of Rio de Janeiro. However tour felt rushed, not as many infos and explanations as expected and difficult to hear the guide in the van because there was no mic. Lunch buffet was average.

Pick up was 57 minutes late but the rest of the tour made up for any disappointment. We had a great time with max 15 in our air conditioned mini bus. Best one day city tour by far.

We had about 18 people in the tour with tour guide Alex and the driver. The tour was smooth and planned well. The tickets were included. The lunch in the end of the tour was great. Absolutely worthwhile and good experience!
