What are people saying about Reykjavik

An interesting and pleasant walk around Reykjavik with Luca.
Our tour of Reykjavík with Luca was certainly time extremely well spent. Luca shared many fascinating stories with us, gave us insight into the history of Reykjavík’s founding and development, offered helpful tips, and happily answered all our questions. I visited this extraordinary place with my teenage son, who—when asked which attraction he enjoyed the most—replied that it was precisely the walk around Reykjavík with Luca. It is worth noting that we also visited the South Coast, went whale watching, and even set out in search of the Northern Lights—so the competition was stiff—yet in my teenager's eyes, Luca proved to be unrivaled.
It is also worth mentioning that treating us to local sweets and drinks was an incredibly kind gesture on his part.
Yes, this is definitely an experience I highly recommend.

Golden Circle Tour with comedic banter
Traveled on Easter Sunday for this Golden Circle tour. Very little traffic in the city so we were soon on our way. Franklin was our guide. He is a native Icelander and his comedic dialogue kept us laughing throughout the trip. Enjoyed the tour since we didn’t have to think about driving or parking. Franklin shared very interesting information about the country and the sights. He was so thoughtful that he took time to verify another passenger’s booked event after the tour so she wasn’t dropped off in the wrong spot. A larger than life Icelander with a heart of gold. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Helgi is the Best!
We had the most insightful, fun and knowledgeable guide! Experiencing the Golden Circle with the Farm and Greenhouse was an incredible combination that helped us connect with the awe-inspiring nature. Helgi was an attentive, personable, hilarious and wonderfully nerdy guide (hello fellow Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan!) who elevated our experience. His in-depth commentary, great recommendations and thoughtful answers livened the mood and made for an incredible time around Iceland’s breathtaking scenery. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Do it!
We had a fabulous experience & saw so many sites that we wouldn’t have on our own - waterfalls, walking between the tectonic plates, craters … so cool! The inside tomato farm was a fun experience! The fresh scent of tomatoes, seeing the working bees & having lunch in this garden was fabulous.

Worth the long day trip.
The tour was 100% worth it. The driver took us all the way to Diamond Beach safely. The tour guide shared so many interesting facts about Iceland along the way. Plenty of stops for comfort breaks. View of waterfalls, black sand beach, diamond beach, glacier lagoon, and to finish off with Northern Lights. This day trip sums up Iceland so well. Highly recommend.

Great Short Experience
We took the tour with transfers from Reykjavík and it worked out great. 1 pm tour picked up at bus stop at 12:30 taken to bus terminal and then 40 minute drive to site. It was a very interesting I hour tour with guide and then back by 3:30. Fun afternoon

Absolutely first class
Absolutely first class. A superb day with a very knowledgeable guide, Gummi. A lovely small group, and plenty of time to enjoy and absorb the various locations we visited. The culmination of a dip in the secret lagoon was just about the perfect way to finish. Would recommend.

Out tour guide, Steinnun...
Out tour guide, Steinnun was excellent. She did a great job not only informing us about Iceland’s scenery and geography, but also informing us about Iceland history, culture and people. Magnus, the bus driver did a good job adapting to unexpected road condition.

Glacier Lagoon Tour - awesome way to end our trip!
Expect a long day of travel (bus). Lots of stops along the way, which were spectacular. Overall a very informative tour. Our guide & driver were both great! We were staying outside Reykjavík and arranged a special p/u at one of the stops that worked out well even though there was confusion w/ the tour company at the time of booking (thankfully I doubled checked w/ the bus company when it was time to pay in full). The Glacier Lagoon was an amazing experience, totally worth the time it took to drive there. ☺️

Great tour & fabulous tour company in a pinch when cruise ship altered course! =:)
We found out about 11am that our ship was going to make port 5 hours late! I immediately contacted the tour thru the app & they replied within a couple minutes & immediately went to work on a solution! 45 min later they told us they'd be able to accommodate us with 3 stops instead of 4. So much better than none!! Everyone in the same situation got right off when we docked & George, our driver/guide got everyone sorted into the several small tour busses & we were able to get a 30 min headscarf of the revised tour start time. George assured us we would still get all the stops in! It was light rain & heavy clouds, but we did make it to see everything & George wisely reversed the larger waterfall & the Geyser so we'd see the waterfall in the last of the daylight. It was fine to see the geyser after.
George did a great job of organizing, calming with humor, driving, narrating information, herding cats, & making the experience as great as could be! Thank you for redeeming the day & excursion! Great work!!🤩

They’re not kidding about being prepared for wet weather, so bring waterproof outers if you want to stay dry. Very interesting tour, lots to see and learn (unless you’re already a volcanologist). We walked out onto the 2023 eruption crater, cool enough to walk on with shoes/boots, but still hot enough to steam vigorously when it rains. We had a hotdog repast at the crater, provided by our tour guide (Ott), cooked with energy emanating from fissures. Hot dogs here are goo-ood!.
If you’re not as fit as you think you are (like me!), you’ll get winded on some of the uphills, but it’s doable and the guide is attentive. Lastly, wear boots.

A Must Stop!
It was so cold out for June (with bad windchill). The spas has a sauna, 2 steam rooms and a swim-up bar. All accessible from blue lagoon water.
I would spring for the premium for the extra face masks. We stayed for about 2.5 hour and I could have stayed much longer. 10/10 would recommend - left feeling so relaxed and ready to take on the world.
