We had a wonderful experience on the Katla Ice Caves and South Coast tour. Both of our drivers were excellent, professional, and made the day enjoyable from start to finish. A special shout-out to our driver who took us to the ice caves. He was incredibly kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. He provided us with great information and fascinating details throughout the tour, while always making sure everyone was comfortable and safe. He was especially attentive as we made our way up and down into the caves and throughout the entire experience. The Katla Ice Caves were truly remarkable, and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. It was a beautiful, exciting, and memorable experience for our entire family. We highly recommend this tour and especially appreciate the wonderful guides who helped make it so special!

Be prepared for a walk over wet, uneven stones. Good sneakers or hiking shoes a must! Well worth it to experience this natural wonder. The guide was very knowledgeable and as a retired Earth Science and Biology teacher, I found the formation of this natural wonder fascinating!

A good comprehensive 3 hour tour showcasing city center, the history district, tales of Viking beginnings, culture and commentary. Luca was friendly and engaging. We were definitely better oriented with Reykjavik by the end. Very glad we booked tge tour with Raven travel.

This is a very long day and worth every minute. The tour guide was excellent and I feel I have a much better understanding of many of the highlights of Iceland because of their knowledge. The waterfalls were sensational and being able to go behind one of them was a very unique experience. The glaciers themselves are incredible and I highly recommend taking the boat cruise and getting to see them up so closely. As I said, it’s a very long day but worth every minute and it is probably my highlight of my Iceland adventure.

Maria was an amazing guide/driver! She was full of Icelandic tips and stories which kept us engaged for the 10 or so hours. The sites were incredible and the time spent at each was about right. And we stopped for ice cream too 😊! We would definitely book a tour with Maria again!

We booked the tour last minute as the weather finally cleared up. I was worried about a very late night reading some other reviews. We got picked up promptly around 930. Initial part of the night was a bit slow but when the lights started coming out, they were spectacular. The guide was very knowledgeable and above all, very patient in taking our photos. And these are so much better than what I took on my phone. We were back by about 12 pm. Highly recommend:

Lagoon experience was amazing. Bius Tickets - we and the transport staff were however unclear where to get paper/device tickets transferred but bus staff and lagoon staff proved helpful. It was unclear what the correct bus company was, even with barcode in hand. Some improved instructions on the confirmation would be useful but regardless, of the hiccup, staff were lovely and very helpful, it was an amazing experience once we got there. It would have only been better if the bus operators weren’t confused by whose bus we should be on. The confirmation didn’t state the bus company and provide the correct references. Both bus drivers were very confused. Paperwork info needs broadening to include bus company details in case of issue. So please check with the operator before you leave and get written confirmation details . We wasted a good half an hour - 15 mins both ends, with people not knowing if we were there customers. This meant we kept getting moved from one bus to another by drivers. It was slightly embarrassing.
