This is the best adventure tour in all Puerto Rico as it completely avoids the tourist traps of the island & focuses exclusively on amazing places known only to locals. The 2 stops on this tour: Cueva del Indio & Charco Azul Canyon are both amazing yet completely different from one another. Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave) is a Seaside Cave that we go inside but to get there we have to walk over the breathtaking 7 arches rock formations. The views of the island and the sea from this point is something to wander at. Then we go into the cave itself which immediately transports you into the past, way before the era of Colombus. The Tainos carved the entire walls of the cave and we get to see it up close. Charco Azul is perhaps even more amazing. These are river caves, formed by the passage of a river beating against the stone for millions of years. We swim thru caves, hike and cliff jump at the end (optional). The entire day is filled with fun and much adventure.

Excellent Tour for the entire Family

Patricia was amazing! Tour was great for entire family 10 year old and 14 year old as well. It does require physical activity, including climbing rocks. There are optional rock jumping, rock slide, and rope swing. Suggestion - do not wear anything you want to lose! Also, sneakers are best because it’s slippery. No bathrooms - so take that into consideration.

My husband, three kids...

My husband, three kids (13, 10 and 10 years old) had a wonderful tour with Airam! He was very friendly and easy going. He drove us to our starting point of the tour and was helpful along the way with everything! My kids loved this tour and said it was their favorite on our entire trip. They loved the cliff jumps, seeing bats inside the caves, loved the waterfall and the free water time at the end. It was definitely worth the money to book this tour! Airam even recommended a few beaches to go to during the rest of our trip around Puerto Rico. We went to all the ones he recommended and they were so beautiful! Only a local would know to go to those beaches so we really appreciate the recommendation! Thank you again!

The rainforest is beautiful. Be prepared to get in the water which is invigorating and a must. Where shoes with a protected toe. Stubbing the big toe hurts. Shally was our guide and she was very energetic, knowledgeable and helpful during the experience.

Fun & Safe, Life-Changing Adventure!

Jaison is an INCREDIBLE guide! He was a very good driver, played fun music during the drive (the bus was clean and spacious), and gave us frequent stops during the tour to rest and learn about the nature, culture, and history surrounding us. He is hilarious, so friendly, and made us feel so safe. He showed us exactly where to put our hand or foot on more difficult terrain, and explained exactly where and how to jump from rocks and on the rope swing. As a tourist, I would not be as adventurous in El Yunque without the expert guidance provided in this tour. While narrating the tour and ensuring we were all safe, he took numerous photos and videos that he shared with all of us at the lunch that followed. By the way, EAT AT THE KIOSK HE RECOMMENDS! THE FOOD WAS LIFE CHANGING!!!! Jaison also provided us with several wonderful recommendations for places to stop on our road trip to the west coast that we would embark on the next day. Don't forget to tip generously with cash at the end of the tour- the tour guides in this company more than deserve it! Also- I got cheap water shoes from Amazon and they held up great; water shoes are a must for this tour. This is a great tour for able bodied, adventurous people who also love to learn!

Anthony and Mitchell were excellent guides. They were helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. Anthony was great with my daughter who was having a difficult time. If you’re up for a true hike through the forest, this is the tour for you. We went through mangrove roots, over rocks, climbed stairs to heaven, through waterways all before reaching pool A. Reaching point A and watching people swing into the water or jumping off cliffs was exhilarating. We couldn’t wait for our turn. The trip to point B was just as tough. The waterslide was great and water was amazing. Jumping off a 25 foot cliff was exciting. Again this is a great tour, if you are up for the hike.

specifically the crew that worked 7/16/2026 with the 7:30PM group … i couldn’t remember their names, but they were GREAT!! very attentive we were actually having a hard time but did grasp the concept on the way back. The crew isn’t going to let you drift away somebody was always watching. They even let you get yourself out of sticky situations to distilled team work and communicate skills, we went into the TREESSSS lol!!! Overall OUTSTANDING! I couldn’t ask for a better tour experience. I will be returning!!!

Cave tubing is a MUST DO! The tour guides are absolutely positively phenomenal from stopping to pick apples off of a tree and carve them for everyone to teaching us the historical items to ensuring we had the absolute best time. They do provide pictures for you so don’t feel pressured to take your phone. Water shoes or tennis shoes are a must just make sure you’re wearing something that you don’t mind to get dirty. There will be mud lots of mud involved. Just embrace it. You will get to see phenomenal scenery, and even some cute little bats. By far, my absolute most favorite thing that I did during my trip.

Great tour with a very experienced guide!

Our guide Lewis was amazing! He was really engaging with the kids and made them leaf hats. He was also very knowledgeable about the rainforest and even know a lot of the backstory of the few residents of the rainforest. I would highly recommend this tour. We did this as a cruise excursion and they got us back to the port with enough time to explore Old Town on foot for a few hours.
