We don’t pick up our guests from their accommodations. We’ll meet at Norte Shopping Center in San Juan. Van/bus will be parked at the shopping center parking lot. Your tour guide will contact you before departure at the number provided during reservation.

Meet up with your fellow travelers in the heart of San Juan and take a van out to the eastern side of El Yunque National Forest, where your adventure begins. Hike for around 25 minutes until you reach a waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip or take a rope swing into the water. Hike for another 15 minutes to reach a swimming hole with a natural rock slide. As you explore, listen to your guide explain to you about the history, flora, and fauna of the surrounding rainforest.
After your hiking and swimming adventure, head to a family-owned restaurant to dine on homestyle food (at your own expense) before making your way back to San Juan.

- ** If you're traveling with a group but reserved your space separately, you have to notify us that you're together. The chances of being assigned to different tour guides are high, and changes can't be made on the day of the tour ** IMPORTANT: Don’t use the “Special Requirements “ field, contact the provider or notify Viator Customer Support directly.
- We recommend shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops, croccs or slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.
- If you’re using UBER services you can use “Deli Plaza Loiza (Norte)” **KEEP IN MIND we have no affiliation with Uber nor we have any way to change the location or the names in their systems. The name provided for the meeting point in Uber system can change at any point, confirm location through your map and the location of Norte Shopping Center, San Juan.
- Pictures AREN’T part of this experience, if you’d like to bring your phone with you keep in mind you should have a waterproof pouch in order to protect it as it can get damaged during the excursion. Some guides will take pictures which they will share after the tour is done. It’s not their obligation to send this pictures to you after you’ve parted ways

I had so much fun exploring the rainforest! It was so beautiful! We had so much fun going down the rock water slides, jumping off the rocks, and jumping off with the rope! I totally recommend this to everyone! Mario our guide was the best! He was so knowledgeable, nice, and took nice videos of us going down the slides! He also took nice pictures! Thank you Mario for being the best tour guide! You made the event very memorable and fun!

This was soooo fun, definitely recommend wearing crocs bc you will be walking in water and def no socks. They say no sunscreen bc you’ll be in a canopy but if you’re a red head or burn easily PLEASE wear sunscreen, not all of it is covered and you WILL come back w a burn. The bus ride is about an hr and our tour guide DANIEL was fantastic #SendIt! He was very knowledgeable and funny, plus his pics were insta worthy so yeah go ahead and let out that breath you were holding if you get told DANIEL is your tour guide. He was running around like Tarzan, herding us like cattle and running circles around our group like a Shepard dog keeping the sheep in formation. The slides arent the v long but the thrill is great and I highly recommend just jumping off the highest cliff, you won’t regret it. I went with my girl and she can’t swim but they made sure she was JUST FINE. Legit she said she felt so safe and she was fully able to enjoy herself and the experience. Daniel made sure to go down the slide first so he could catch her and bring her to the shallow end before coming back up to us and helping the rest of us go down. Anyways yeah, 10/10 experience and will come back again ONLY IF WE GET DANIEL!!

Great experience from start to finish! Our guide, Jeremy, was fantastic. We booked the 7:30am slot and I’m glad because it gets crowded. We stopped at the Luquillo Beach kiosks for lunch. Our bus driver, Jonathan, was very friendly and patient while waiting for our groups to return to the bus from lunch.

This is a must when visiting PR. My friends and I visited for the first time and stumbled upon this little excursion and it happened to be the best part of the trip! The staff is so welcoming and engaging. The forest is absolutely stunning and the water activities were such a great way to cool off after the hike!

Other travelers should know that they are rolling the dice with this tour company. They won't consider refunds or even partial refunds under any circumstances, including one's completely out the customers control like flight delays cancellations, or need a trip postponements. Even when the customer tried to communicate with them from the very first sign of trouble. So just know that if any last minute travel emergencies occur, you've lost every penny. Which is interesting considering most of their business are tourists who have to rely on trave working perfectly, which isn't reality.

Jesus was an amazing tour guide!! He was personable and funny. He had so much to share about the beauty of Puerto Rico and how passionate he is about the island. There was a lot of climbing involved but Jesus and Saito made sure we were always safe and well taken care of. So glad we had them for our tour!!! Such a memorable experience!

We had a great experience with Gian this past week. The hike is pretty short but there are some steep areas, the waterslide and rope swing and rock jump were super fun but a little scary for my eight year-old. He was the youngest kid I saw participate in these activities so keep that in mind. The tour guides were knowledgeable. I wish the swimming hole had been a little bit less crowded, but we had a fantastic experience overall! Bring meds for the bus if you are prone to motion sickness!

To really enjoy this experience do as they recommend. Wear shoes that can be submerged in water and good enough for moderate hiking. Wear your bathing suit and expect some parts of the walk to be challenging. Also, have waterproof case for your phone. Great fun!

Our tour guide was calling me and texting saying that we left witthout paying for some phone photos he took from his phone. Remind you I did not ask him to send me these i just assumed he wanted to send them, i quickly deleted them when i saw his message and just so you know he didnt had to be rude and frank about it. At the beginning of the tour, he provided you with a waterproof phone case after explaining that one would be needed, and the understanding was that it would be paid for afterward. The booking process was very simple. Easy to navigate the website. Great communication, reminders and updates about our upcoming excursions. The day of our excursion Marty, our tour guide called me to make sure we knew where to meet, we like the fact it was a small group. What’s on the bus? We had an hour long trip to El Yunque. Marty did a great job pointing out landmarks and other facts about Puerto Rico. The hime was fairly moderate until we got to the rocks leading to the waterfall and waterslide. You definitely need to be agile to maneuver the rocks and not slip. Once we got to the top of the waterfall, we had a great time going down the slide. It was also lots of fun cliff jumping and swinging off the ropes. The water was nice and cool and very refreshing. After we finish and went back to the bus, Marty took us to the Kiosk in Pinones for lunch. We ate at #38 and the food and drinks were great. We walked down to the Luquilla Beach and grab a cocktail for the trip back. Overall it was a great experience and Marty was excellent.

Amazing experience, the clime was challenging but it’s all part of the expirience, I wouldn’t suggest this activity for kids since it requires hiking, and majority of the activities is jumping off cliffs and a water slide that’s made of rocks. The whole experience was amazing, our tour guide took care of us the whole way and made sure we all had fun. Our tour guide Miguelito took us on a hike through the forest and led us to the swimming pond. Further ahead we went cliff jumping and to a rope swing into the water. My phone that had a water proof case got lost going down the rock water slide and our tour guide got goggles and retrieved it for me. Fortunately it still worked. Afterwards they drove us back to get some food at these restaurants/bars and lastly took us back to the meeting place.

What an incredible experience! I highly recommend wearing comfortable water shoes with good grip for walking through the river, it will make the adventure even more enjoyable.
Ashley and Jonathan stayed close to the group throughout the entire tour. They were professional, friendly, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable from start to finish.
I highly recommend this experience and would absolutely do it again. 100% recommended!

Our guide was Giancarlo, he was knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun. My son is 12 and he needed a little confidence boost to do the slide but he was so glad he did it. There was accommodation for people who chose not to do the slide as well.

Our guide Miguelito was excellent and he helped make sure our kids (age 5 and 8) had the best time they could. However, I wouldn’t recommend this for kids this age since the slide is high and the rope swing is just a rope so not really kid appropriate. The adults and teenagers were able to enjoy all the activities and they loved it. I would recommend this tour for those 12 and up. You take a short walk to the river then enjoy swimming in the river and rope swing or cliff jump, then a short hike up river to the rock slide. It was just a little long for the kids to be hanging out in the river (water is a little chilly and we did this in July).
