What are people saying about Prague

Great samples of different foods
We traveled with our tween sons and enjoyed the food tour with Sonar (Sonny). We ate a lot, drank a lot, and learned more about Prague food culture and history as well. We started with either beef broth soup (lighter) or goulash (beef/pork stew). Then we had a kolosche (like a Danish pastry) snack. Then, we walked about 8 minutes to stop at a deli to try prague ham on rye with mustard and pickle. Then we stopped at a tavern a few minutes away to try marinated camembert cheese and pickled sausage with a Moravian wine (or Czech cola for the kids which taste a bit like light, less sweet birch beer), we walked a few more minutes to get to our "dinner" where 4 of us shared 3 preselected main entrees: fried edam with potatoes, roast pork with spinach and potato dumplings, and goulash meal (chunks of meat but still stew-like) with bread dumplings. We had a choice of beer or seasonal raspberry soda or radler (half beer, half raspberry soda). Finally, we walked about 5 more minutes closer to the river bank to enjoy a gingerbread cookie. It took exactly 3 hours and didn't feel rushed. The company and tour guide was fabulous. Would recommend to others to understand the food culture and sample different foods. We even learned what was not local cuisines even though we thought it was! Almost wished it was longer to dive more into Prague history and culture and the background of all the different foods but that would end up being much much longer!

Great Prague Overview
This is great tour for those who just have a day or those that want to scratch the surface of what Prague has to offer. You will visit the best-known Prague sites: Charles Bridge, Prague Castle Complex, Astronomical Clock, Old Town Square and the Jewish Quarter. These are stops. It’s up to you if you want to do further exploration on your own. Lunch and a boat ride are also included. A great guide could make or break your trip, since they are your source of all information as you walk through Prague. My tour got very lucky with Ross. He was excellent. If I could pick a guide, it would be him. He is extremely knowledgeable and able to easily weave-in history/pop-culture references/story-telling and transition seamlessly. As you move through the tour, he also reminds you of previous stories so you can tie everything together and remember more of your tour. He is a seasoned guide. Therefore, he knows where to go for the best views or just a quiet corner.

Andie was sensational
Andie was an outstanding guide! I speak English and she was super clear and easy to understand. The weather was kind of brutally hot but she kept our attention every step of the way. So, just note on hot days you will be sweating. I was stressed because I was running a bit late but found it turned out ok. The tour starts at the meeting point (in the shade 👍) for a good 15 mins or so which provides a bit of a cushion if you’re running behind. Can’t say enough great things about the tour and specifically our guide. I didn’t have a lot of time so didn’t go in the castle- which probably was very cool. Highly recommend

Excellent tour... highly recommend!
Excellent tour! This was our 1st day in Prague and it was the perfect introduction to the city. Our guide Dave was fantastic! He is a Czech native and shared a lot of great information on Prague's history. The boat ride in between the two walking tours was a nice break and had some great photo ops. It was very well organized and I cant say enough good things about our guide Dave. Highly recommend!
