- Please note: This is a combined „package“ type of experience, you will meet two different guides – one is our own, the second is Old Town Hall’s official guide. This way, you get two different locals’ perspectives.
- Please note: This is the only such "visitable" underground space in Prague for guided tours. It takes around 20 minutes (!) and the rest of the Old Town Hall interior tour are its historic halls - above ground.
- ❗️To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start. Late arrivals create confusion and it may not be possible to locate the group afterward. *Please note that late arrivals will not be refunded.
- Not recommended for children under 10 years - longer walk, a bit too heavy on the amount of information
- For parents with toddlers: please bring a carrier instead of a stroller

Our tour guide Michal was great. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was very hot the day we took the tour and he went out of his way to try to make the walk as comfortable as he could, while still covering the important topics.

We went with Sebastian and enjoyed this tour a lot. He was friendly and engaging. The pace was nice and we covered great sites and info. When the underground tour ends, be sure to go on your own to the top of the clock tower. It’s very cool.

Wonderful introduction to Prague! Our guide, Ella, was very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We really enjoyed learning the history of Prague from her perspective. This tour also highlighted sites we wanted to return to, and Ella's inside tips on shopping and restaurants were so appreciated! Highly recommend!

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and supportive shoes because there's a lot of walking on this tour. I'd also recommend eating beforehand since it lasts several hours.
Our guide, Adam, was fantastic—very knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer questions. When you arrive at the Clock Museum, he hands the tour off to one of the museum's guides, who leads you through that portion of the experience.
The underground areas and the spaces behind the Astronomical Clock were fascinating to explore and are only accessible with this tour, not with a standard admission ticket. During our visit, our museum guide had to politely tell several people who tried to join our group that it was a private tour, which really highlighted the exclusivity of this experience.
Getting to see the inner workings of the clock was definitely the highlight of the tour and made it well worth the price. If you're interested in the history of Prague and want access to areas most visitors never get to see, I highly recommend this tour.

Adamo was a great tour guide. The tour started with crossing the Charles Bridge. The pace was slow which allowed Adamo to properly explain the history of the bridge and highlight the signifiant statues. We then went to the city hall for the tour inside the Astronomical Clock tower, the historic municipal rooms and the vast underground. Highlight for me was seeing the backside of the Astronomical Clock and the underground. Make someone in your group has a phone working in Prague. My phone didn’t work so I missed all the message from the tour guide.

Hi Don, sorry the Old Town Hall complex only allows their own guides, as per the strict city object policy. Therefore, the final interiors part was guided by another guide. We’re glad you like the part with Andy, our own guide :)

Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history. The explanations were clear, interesting, and brought Prague’s past to life. The visit to the underground chambers was especially memorable and offered a unique perspective on the city’s history. Learning about the Astronomical Clock and exploring Old Town Square made the experience even more enjoyable.
The pace was comfortable, there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for Prague. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.

Michal was both funny and informative. He was a very organized tour guide, and I thought it was a lovely mix of outdoor walking tour, seeing important historical sites, and also getting to tour the clock tower and underground, which is great on a hot day! Highly recommend!

Samaritan is a great guide - amusing and informative! The underground section of the building is interesting and the view from the tower is well worth the climb. Since most of the elevation is done by ramp, it’s a very easy walk.

This was a fantastic walking tour. John’s pace was spot on…not too fast and not too slow. His stories were wonderful as was his knowledge. He also gave lots of tips about being a tourist in Prague. The group was small which meant we got a ask plenty of questions. We chose the 5pm tour and it was really good.

Great tour! John was the tour guide for the experience. The tour itself was just perfect it was a small group of only 9 of us and it was very well structured while also leaving time to do other small little stops along the way. John was very knowledgeable and provided us with lovely side stories about the local history that interested him and also interested us. Additionally he was great at providing recommendations on where to buy items or where to avoid buying items as well as for food and restaurants. Overall I had a really great time and learned a lot.

Fantastic tour with Sebastian! He has a tremendous passion for his city and his country and it comes across in his tour. I would highly recommend him and would request him if you can. Charles bridge, old town and the horological clock were all highlights. We also got recommendations for just about anything and everything after the tour was over. The finish in the tower and the underground was a great way to end the tour.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this two part tour. Before getting to the clock, we toured a bit of the city with a guide that was knowledgeable and fun. We then were turned over to another guide for the behind the scenes tour of the clock itself. It was all very fascinating and an enjoyable experience.
