- In the main season The Golden Lane is an optional stop (as it often gets overcrowded). If Castle is too crowded guide can skip the visit of the Golden Lane and continue according to the itinerary. Castle ticket is valid for 2 days so travelers can visit the lane by themselves the following day

Honza did a great job. Even though several things were close he still made the tour interesting. He gave us a good idea what it is like to live in this country.
Jack/Hansa gave a terrific tour -- learned a great deal about Czech history and culture, with lots of tidbits for tourists about do's and don'ts :-).
He was interesting and fun! Highly recommended.

Our tour guide, Leo, had a wealth of knowledge that he imparted with a great sense of humour. He really made the tour interesting and was very accommodating with questions and requests asked of him. I thought he was an outstanding tour guide who genuinely enjoyed his job.
I wish I had known to bring along some identification with a photo on it for people over 65. As it didn’t have this with me I bought a tram ticket when I didn’t need to if I had he right identification with me.
The host was very knowledgeable and humorous. He did a great job explaining the history. He took just the right amount of breaks. The time actually went quickly. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Our guide, Mike, was terrific. Great command of English (though he spoke really, really fast!), and lots of good information. This tour has you take the tram up to the castle, so there is no long walk up. There is a long walk down, but that is much easier. It does involve a lot of steps. Mike tended to walk too fast for my taste, but he would stop periodically to make sure everybody was with him. It was a very thorough and enjoyable tour of the castle complex and the surrounding area.
Prague Castle is an absolute must if you’re visiting Prague. The cathedral within has a lot of interesting history as well as some fascinating stories within the stained glass windows. Our guide Michal was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. The tour was an appropriate length and I appreciated the guided introduction to Prague’s tram system.
Mike was an excellent guide. Tons of information, very well delivered. Well organized. Kept it interesting. Recommend highly to see Prague castle.

The tour was wonderful, informative and comprehensive - helping inform us about the history of Prague Castle, as well as Prague and the Czech Republic more broadly.
Excellent tour, so glad we did this, which included a tram ride, the entire castle complex, Lennon’s Wall and Charles Bridge. Mical our guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable about the history.
There is a lot of standing and walking involved. If you suffer from back pain then you will struggle.
A great overall tour of the history of Prague/Czech Republic and the culture, food, and arts of the area. Its a fast paced tour. The tour guide, Honza, had great stories and information to share. The headphones were a little garbled at times so that could be challenging if you have hearing issues.
We really enjoyed seeing the castle but our tour guide did a very poor job. Anna didn’t check to make sure that we all could understand her in the microphones and so my husband and I missed many things. She was way too fast for the entire group and we had to find her many times. She spent a lot of time walking where she could be explaining things. It’s really unfortunate because we’ve had such fantastic experiences with Viator toour guides this trip.
This type of tour requires a guide with an indept knowledge of prague history. Her knowledge enhanced the quality of the tour.
Michal did a very nice job, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I think this is a great tour to do to get a real good feel of the historical center of the city.
The guide , Charles was very nice and did his best explaining to us the history of Prague and the castle. Getting to the castle required hoping on 2 trams . There was a little bit of wait between the trams. The castle itself was a little underwhelming. The best part in the St. Victus church. It is something to explore but I don’t think it is a must see attraction.
You will have to buy a subway pass if under 65. A little bit of walking, if was nice to see change of the guards at Castle.

Anna was an excellent guide. Her cheerful personality and enthusiasm made the tour even more enjoyable. She clearly knew her city very well, and despite having many sights to visit, everything ran smoothly and on schedule. We really enjoyed the tour.
I thorough enjoyed the walk & experience. Had a guide by the name of Leo. He was funny & really knew his stuff talking about all the points of interest.
Guide overview of the sights from a local guide named Honza. In addition, he showed us how to use the transportation system, good places to eat, etc.

Great way to see the Prague Castle and sights on the other side of the river. Mike was a good guide providing history and interesting insight. Nice to have earphones to be able to hear since there were other people around.

Very good tour to see Prague Castle highlights with commentary. Our guide was very good providing detail and stories. We saw a few other highlights, but this tour definitely is primarily focused on the castle (travel to and from and exploring the castle is 3 hours). The tour is more like 3.5 hours (our guide said that right up front). We took a tram to the castle and each of us had to buy tickets at the station Most tours like this have those included .
The pace was painfully slow. Easily could have still seen everything without being rushed in 2 hours instead of 3+
