- The two neighborhood markets we visit on this tour stay open until December 24. After that date, we’ll take you to two equally charming, centrally-located markets.

This tour was excellent, Miss was so friendly and knowledgeable. she took us to a couple of markets used by. The locals which we would not have found.

Nikki was a great guide. We saw Christmas Markets that were not overly crowded and more for the local population. Nikki explained the Czech Christmas traditions and asked each of us about our traditions. I highly recommend Nikki as a guide whether it be for Christmas markets or for around Prague.

Our guide George was amazing. We went to 4 Christmas markets. We loved going to the smaller markets, theyre ones we wouldn't have gone to on our own, and we went to the larger markets. We enjoyed some traditional food/drinks. George told us about his family traditions.

This was a fantastic experience! Nikola was an excellent guide and we learned so much about the customs and traditions of Christmas in Czechia. It was lovely to be guided through areas of the old and new towns which we would never have found on our own. Nikola also advised the best places to buy souvenirs and the most authentic Czech goods. We also tasted some delicious local delicacies and drinks along the way. would highly recommend this trip.

This tour was so fun - it was an insiders look at the Christmas markets! Nikola was an amazing guide - she was so personable and made the tour very conversational and interactive. She took us to some markets where locals go that we would have never found and went to various shops to show us traditional Czech gifts, weaving in traditional items and explaining the holiday customs that went along with them. At one market we got mulled wine and sat down to chat about her own traditions growing up and how they translate to how she celebrates today. It was so fun and festive, she had us laughing and feeling the magic of the Christmas markets. She also gave us some practical knowledge around riding the subway and using the paid bathrooms, which was quite helpful. Highly recommend, she was a friendly and engaging guide!

Fabulous time with Nikola. We learned so much, travelled effortlessly around Prague via subway and tram and saw lovely Christmas markets. The best part though was all her stories. She was kind, patient and full of information. Don’t hesitate to book this!

Our tour with Kathy was lovely. I especially like that she shared Czech holiday traditions with us through out the tour. I also enjoyed the fact that she encouraged us to try different types of foods that I might not normally have tried - that was really nice and added to the experience!

Katy, or guide was absolutely lovely! Mum and I had a fabulous few hours in her company.
Before we set off she gave us each a shot of hot honey wine (Medovina) to warm us up, then we were off. She took us around a couple of her favourite stalls in the Old Town Square market, then we headed off to the lesser crowded, and more traditional markets outside the main centre itself.
Along the walk & metro journey (she paid for the tickets) we were chatting throughout, learning lots about traditional Czech customs and Christmas things. We visited 2 different churches along route too, including having a little "wish angel" which would be hung from the church roof on Christmas Eve to be sent to Heaven for the year ahead (such a lovely idea).
The 2 more traditional markets (Peace Sq and another) were lovely. Much more based on decorations/gifts etc rather than the food and drink which dominated the "tourist" markets. We sampled a couple of different treats at each, even having cookies baked by Katy and/or her Grandma to go with our hot wine/punch.
Katy herself was so easy to talk to and very interesting to listen to. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed our few hours with her, I kind of wish we had more time with her to soak up even more of the traditions and culture from her!!

I had the most amazing time with Pavla. I cannot even begin to explain how magical she made this tour. From her incredibly vast knowledge of history to the concept lies and wine she had for me. Wonderful trip touring the Christmas markets in Prague. Tereza, our local tour guide, taught us so much about the Czech traditions and answered our questions. She was also kind enough to provide us with restaurant recommendations, and sent us recipes of the wonderful cookies and potato pancakes we tasted on our travels. She taught us a Czech Christmas Carol and made the afternoon fun. Plus we tasted the most delicious mulled wine. Thank you Tereza, we loved it.

Loved the smaller markets and details on Christmas in Czechia. Very personalized! We took metro and I learned about the subway tiles …..I told another guide later I liked the market at the “blue subway”! Memorable way to remember. Went through interesting places bay not usually covered on tours. Would highly recommend !

I traveled to Prague this holiday season to see the beautiful city at Christmas and really wanted to explore the Christmas markets. This tour was so amazing! Michelle is a lovely lady and a Czech Republic native that really personalised the experience. She gave so many great tips about the markets and shared so many personal stories of the history and traditions of Christmas in the Czech Republic. She brought warm Meade and homemade cookies to share with us and she bought some nice treats along then way for us to enjoy. My tour ended up just being Michelle, 2 other guests and me and it was like we were friends out on the town checking out the markets. She explained a lot of the architecture and sites around Prague as well. Well worth the time and money spent. This tour really made my time in Prague very special. Thank you Michelle...you're awesome!

I loved every moment of this tour. I loved to visit Christmas markets, where locals go (2 of them in local neighborhoods, therefore would never find myself). I loved the mead and hot wine I tried and Christmas cookies were just delicious as well! I loved to learn about such interesting Christmas traditions of Czech people (finally understood why Santa does not bring presents to Czech republic! And why are all people buying carps like crazy over these holidays). I loved our guide, Misa, she is such an amazing story teller and a very passionate guide, as well as a kind person. You just love to be around her. It felt like visiting beautiful Christmas markets with a local friend, who tells you all the local secrets and lets you try what is purely local. I loved it! Do not hesitate and book this tour. It is well worth the price. Thank you, Misa and Thank you, Prague City Adventures, for such a memorable experience. The best tour of my trip.

Misa was a wonderful tour guide who provided fantastic insights on the Christmas markets in Prague. Along the way our small group sampled delicious Czech goodies, wine and mead. Míša also taught us various Christmas customs. It was a super fun way to spend a couple of hours in Christmassy Prague!

Wonderful festive experience with a variety of Xmas snacks included. I loved having a local guide who shared Czech traditions, explained all about Christmas food and drinks and taught our small group a few phrases in Czech. The mead and mulled wine were also delicious!
