Nightwatchmen patrolled 17th-century Prague after dark to deter criminals; they knew the city’s secret corners and darkest events. More than 300 years later, tag along with a nightwatchman in historical dress and uncover real stories and places you’d likely miss on your own with this small-group tour. Stroll cobblestone lanes, old markets, and medieval squares in the Old Town as you hear blunt, witty accounts of Prague’s harsh and sometimes violent past, ending with a traditional nightwatchman's horn call.

Thomas is very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the tour. He made it fun to learn about Medieval Prague. I would recommend this tour.
Our guide was very good. He went with the flow when questions were asked and was point on in answering them. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn about medieval Prague

Tom rocks, a natural actor. He really drew us into the history and period as we walked the magical streets during golden hour until sundown.

We chose this tour because of all the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. Thomas, our Night Watchman, staryed in character and gave the most interesting, informative and sometimes humorous narative, visiting many sites, some quite obscure. It lasted about 1.5 hours. We covered quite a bit of ground but it did not seem rushed. Prague is a very busy city and this kind of tour is a great way to see it through a historical lens.

The hour and a half flew by. Our guide, Thomas, was funny, engaging and very well informed. We found out a lot about the city. It was a highlight of our long weekend in Prague and, if we had the time, we would go on their other tour. We did an evening tour, which was very atmospheric and he had the full interest of our teenagers as well as us adults.

From the moment we began the tour, Oscar had us captivated. He maintained the character of a nightwatchman throughout the whole tour. He provided insight for life in Prague during the troubled times of Nightwatchmen, bringing history alive at each location we stopped at. My husband was sick that evening and sadly missed out on what was possibly on of the best history tours I've been on. It was a bit like "Horrible Histories" but so much better.

Really interesting ! David took us back through time so we could relive the night watchman’s experience. He was dressed in similar clothes to the watchman and carried staff and lantern . Explained a lot of Prague history and even though it was dark and showery all added to the atmosphere of the gruesome life lead by the people of the past .

Lovely experience. David was fantastic as our nightwatchman bringing in the history of the city as well as some personal anecdotes to make the tour very interesting. The tour was a very small group of about 7 and David was very clear and entertaining during the tour. He also gave us some tips to navigate the lovely city of Prague. Definitely recommend.

Thomas provided a great tour. He was humorous and informative. Although this tour covered some of the same locations as the old town, new town and Jewish cemetery tour, it followed a different path so you saw different aspects of the buildings. Thomas stayed in his Nightwatchman character and his talk focused on the everyday life of the lower classes. Very interesting.

Great tour ! Very good at explaining history and in a humorous way ! We did a morning tour and then this one in the night and it was great! My three daughters were very entertained , he will show you the city plus hidden gems !
