I was unsure about whether to visit Karlovy Vary as the reviews were mixed and I’m so very happy I did! What a delightful time exploring Karlovy Vary with Karolina from Premiant City Tours. Karolina brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and energy to the tour. The tour includes a funicular ticket to see Karlovy Vary from above, simply stunning, plus approx a 2.5h hour tour with Karolina another 2.5hours to explore as you like. Definitely ample time to explore this gorgeous town and to sit at a cafe as well. Highly recommend Karlovy Vary and Karolina!

Regrettably the funicular was out of operations due to flooding on the rails. Otherwise an enjoyable time at this spa town. Our guide had a lot to explain.
The travel to Carlovy Vary was nice and relaxed. Guide gave us a lot of general information and about Carlovy Vary. He was with us for about an hour after we reached Carlovy Vary from Prague. We then had four hour on our own. Unless you have booked a Spa or some other activity, that was a very long time; couple of hours should be enough. We were given information about the local bus and how to go to the tower ( I did not). Overall, a nice experience but not outstanding.
The day trip to Karlovy Vary was very nice. The bus ride was not too long. Our tour guide, Jan, was very nice & helpful. The funicular attraction was great because the views of Czechia ‘ the surrounding areas was amazing & there was also a butterfly exhibit & a petting zoo up at the top of the mountain. There are lots of shops & restaurants there as well. I would definitely go back.

The visit to Karlovy Vary was beautiful. We loved the town, which was quite impressive! The guided walking tour was too long. The information stated the tour was in English, but we were the only two English speakers in the group and the rest were Spanish speakers. Not that it was a problem, but the guided walking tour took much longer than expected because of all the translation. I would have preferred more time to ourselves to explore, but we ended up with only about 2 hours.
The worst part was the driver. He was such an aggressive driver that he had many other drivers honking at him and giving some not so nice, but deserved hand gestures. I was glad we had our seat belts on because he was very dangerous.

Lots of talking by Europeans speaking people including children on the bus. Not mean just noisy. They understood English. Couldn't hear Karol. Heat and ac was an on off all the time. Need more space on bus to spread out.
The tour in town was good but she was too slow. Plus she had surgery so couldn't walk faster. Also had to wait for others who took off for pictures. Didn't need the stop for 10 minutes at the cookie place. We left the group and didn't do the funicular but went to the Grand Hotel for lunch. Would have been good if she had the funicular tickets so we could go on our own.
If the environment above is ok then go for it.

Karolína was great very knowledgeable. It was a nice tour a full day. I was thrilled to see the grand hotel pupp. I am such a fan of last holiday. It was a good excursion from Prague.

It would appear that neither the driver nor the tour guide were informed that Karlovy Vary was hosting the world triathlon race which meant road closures.
The tour guide also wasn't informed that the tour we booked was supposed to include the visit to the glass factory which was closed.
Also closed was the funicular and Diane's view point which was also advertised as being part of the tour.
Therefore 3 hours was far too long free time.
So definitely not the tour we paid for!
Despite that it was a beautiful town and worth the visit.
Trip to Karlovy Vary and Moser Factory from Prague is the title however the Moser factory was not even mentioned on the tour at all, A shame because that may of redeemed the trip somewhat.
The bus was nice and clean and the hotel pickup went well. Our guide was multilingual but her English was not very good. We stopped for our 3 course lunch around 11:45 at Hotel Poppy outside Karlovy Vary and were finished by 12:20 and charged extra for drinks. The staff at the hotel were not polite and were taking our plates whilst we were still chewing then dropping the next course in front of us within 1 minute. We had soup which was nice but barely warm, chicken leg which was greasy and hardly any meat followed by a piece of bland/stale cheesecake about with size of my index finger.
Karlovy Vary itself was very nice but our walking tour was mainly visiting shops and being told which product to buy. The free time we had was the best part of the day and the driver was pleasant and his driving felt safe and steady.
Karlovy Vary is well worth a visit, a beautiful spa town. Our guide, Karolina, was friendly and managed the tour well with its mix of English and Spanish speakers.
About 10.5 hours round trip from Warsaw. Excellent tour guide, I can't spell or pronounce his name. This tour was on an older Mercedes mini-van, not as easy to enter/exit the vehicle. I'm 5'8 and bumped my head a few times. Karlovy Vary Karlsbad is such a beautiful resort spa location that I which we had not spent as much time in the Moser Factory. I can see why Hollywood has one of their Movie Festival in this location. Beautiful architecture everywhere, Casino Royal was filmed at one of their beautiful hotels. We had lunch included with this tour, the hotel/restaurant was just outside of Karlovy Vary, it was very good. We just wish that there had been more free time to enjoy this Magnificent Posh Resort/Spa location. We only had @ 1 hour 15 min. of free time. Not enough time to enjoy anything other than get an ice cream, there were quite a lot of tours and people.

C'est une belle endroit. Très reposant,nous avons fait les bains thermal. Malheureusement le funiculaire était en réparation.
La ciudad,, pintoresca y sus construcciónes. Buenas tiendas, lindos hoteles .. aguas termales,,Restaurantes legendarios.. souvenirs. En la Torre paisajes espectaculares.

Fue una Estafa. NO VISITAMOS LA FÁBRICA DE MOSER, sólo Karlovy Vary y la excursión se quedó muy pobre para nuestras expectativas y sin fábrica no la hubiéramos contratado. El guía nos dijo que eso ya no lo hacían desde hace años y por tanto la publicidad es engañosa.

However, as our guide said, we have not been going to the Moser factory since 2019 and the fault lies with Viator/TripAdvisor, which was unable to fix the product page in languages other than English, which we manage ourselves. So there was no fault on our part.

Me gustó mucho el tour. La ciudad es preciosa y la visita a la fábrica Moser muy interesante. Se cumplió exactamente con el programa, el guía muy amable y el autobús cómodo. Lo recomiendo pues es una visita imprescindible cuando vas a Praga
Visitamos la ciudad balneario de Karlovy Vary, que incluía una visita a la fábrica de cristal de bohemia: Moser, así como también la comida en un hotel-restaurante en ruta, pudimos elegir los platos, había típicos de la cocina checa. Menú totalmente correcto.
La guía Carolina, superagradable, nos explicaba los detalles de la visita y lo que podíamos ver en el tiempo libre, y durante el trayecto nos comentaba curiosidades históricas y actuales de la república Checa.
Al finalizar el tour, iban dejando a cada uno de los participales en sus hoteles respectivos en Praga, cuestión que se valora muchísimo.
En general sumamente recomendable. Disfrutamos muchísimo.

Karlovy vary est une très jolie ville.
