What are people saying about Porto

This was an overall...
This was an overall terrific experience with lots of food and lots of wine as well as some beer. It was a bit alcohol forward which I welcomed. Our guide Granado was terrific and very knowledgeable, especially about wine. I thought the tour overall was very well done and worth the cost and time.

Must Do!
What an amazing food and wine tour! Alice was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so much fun. Every stop was perfectly chosen, with delicious food and excellent wines. The history and local stories she shared were an unexpected bonus that made the tour even more memorable. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Alice as your guide!

Perfect city overview for a family
Fantastic Tuk Tuk of the local sites specifically tailored for a family with young teens. Diogo was the best driver and accommodated our mobility issues with the bouncy roads by going slow and easy. He offered many stops to stretch our legs and take family photos. Diogo provided excellent local recommendations and provided a unique experience with the 3hr option to allow us to explore Gaia and the coast. We recommend seeing the train station and other downtown Porto sites separately so your driver can spend more time in the other areas that are less touristy.

Viktoria was great
We stayed at the river’s edge and met at the top of the city. Getting to the starting point was the hardest part.
Viktoria was fun and engaging, bringing the city and country’s history to life.
There is so much to see and do, one tour is not enough. Book early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds.

Fantastic tour guide Will made our day!
William Stillwell was simply outstanding. One of the best tour guides we have ever had. Very very passionate about Boston and it's history. He was extremely knowledgeable and takes pride in accuracy in what he narrates. Couldn't rate this tour and Will higher

Great tour if you have limited time in Porto.
I did this tour with my Goddaughter the day before our cruise from Lisbon. We both enjoyed the selections. If you don't know a lot about ports, this tour will help your understanding and allow you to sample may varieties. You can learn your favorites, and have the opportunity to purchase, if you desire.

This was an excellent...
This was an excellent walking tour of Porto and a great way to learn about the city's rich history. Our guide, Diego, was incredibly pleasant, highly informative, and kept the experience engaging from start to finish. It offered fantastic value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to discover Porto on foot.

Monica is the best and most fun guide!
Monica is an amazing guide and provides excellent history and cultural information and insights. She asks for your special interests and we visited some beautiful areas and shops and she helped us identify authentic and family owned shops. She was very fun for my grandson and we really enjoyed visiting her cat friends.

Great day in two small important towns!
From the beginning of setting up a pickup spot (since my accommodation wasn't a choice), this was a lovely experience. I'm glad the group was small, which isn't always something you get. Diana, our guide, was SUPER knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding of people's needs and time. We saw some very cool things in Braga and Guimaraes, both little towns that are meaningful to Portugal's history. You CAN get there solo on the train, but having a guide and a driver makes it easier and worth it to me. Definitely try the torta de Guimaraes pastry, invented by the then-local nuns.

The best 3 hours you’ll spend in Porto!
This was one of the hi-lights of our stay in Porto.
‘John’ was an absolutely brilliant guide who was incredibly passionate about his city. We saw many sights we wouldn’t have seen otherwise and covered a lot! The bikes were a dream to ride and made all the hills very easy to cycle up.
Porto is an incredible city and this was well worth doing.
‘John’ (João) used to be a journalist photographer and took us to some great spots for amazing views and even took a few photos too!
We can’t pinpoint one thing as the best as it was all an amazing experience and one we wouldn’t have seen definitely recommend.

Great, comfortable tour out of the crowds
This is a great tour at a relaxed pace, but still covering a good amount of ground. We stayed mostly out of the crowds and saw several sights that aren't on all of the "big attractions" lists. We loved having a private guide who knew the area, the sights, and plenty of history about the city.
Speaking of guides, Carlos was amazingly friendly and accommodating with anything we asked about. He's just a super friendly and smart guy all around. I can't recommend him enough!
