Chris was truly wonderful. He was a great driver with lots of great insights and Greek knowledge. I loved this trip and would do it again. The car was comfortable and clean. The sites were amazing. He stopped several times for us to take pictures. We ate lunch in the town of Delphi in a small local restaurant with delicious food. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Wonderful private tour

Our driver George was superb. He turned up at our hotel on time with water for us and so much information. He discussed what we wanted to achieve and how to tailor the trip given my elderly mothers situation. He was happy to make recommendations and accommodations to help us make the most of the day. We had plenty of time at all the locations. We stopped in Delphi for lunch at a local taverna which was just superb, amazing food. Would highly recommend.

We had a scorching hot...

We had a scorching hot day at Delphi seeing the well-kept Temple of Apollo! Our guide was great at answering our questions along with keeping us all wrangled together and safe. My only tip: Don't eat at the taverna that the tour goes to for lunch, it is so overpriced and very average. If you walk a bit further down the road you'll have more options!

Know before you go

The ruins are spread over a large area, so plan at least half a day to take in the highlights with a tour guide. You can buy Delphi tickets in advance or on the day and hire an audio guide.
Bring sunscreen, plenty of water, and comfortable shoes to walk around the ruins of the temple.
The Archaeological Museum of Delphi is wheelchair-accessible, but due to steep and uneven ground, it is not possible to visit the ruins up close via wheelchair.
