The entire excursion was...
The entire excursion was wonderful. The bus was very clean. The tour guide Vangelis was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The views at Delphi and Arachova were fantastic. It’s a long day trip but worth it to see such a historic place

Wonderful day in Dephi
Our guide, Chris, was exceptional. Prompt, fun, informative and a superb driver. The tour was great. Most of our time was spent at Delphi, and it was amazing to see all of the ruins as well as an excellent museum. Chris picked out the best restaurant we've eaten at in the 3 weeks of our multi-country trip. Homemade pasta and the best lamb chops we've ever had. The car was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this tour!

A MUST do day tour from Athens.
Wonderful experience. Delphi was even nicer than expected. The surrounding mountains were beautiful. And the town of Arachova was enchanting. Marianna our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Tour was well organized, bus new and very clean. Driver excellent. Learned so much about the Greek origin of our English vocabulary. Extremely interesting. Give it 5+ stars.

A well organized tour
This trip was very well organized. All the personnel including, the buss drivers and the guides all had full control of who were going where and what was going to happen next. The guide we had on day one in Meteora was very knowledgeable. Delphi It was one annoying thing about Delphi. When we bought tickets to the museum and the archeological site, we were forced to visit the museum first. This is not the fault of the tour operator, the museum only.

The ruins at Delphi near Athens
  • The ruins are spread over a large area, so plan at least half a day to take in the highlights with a tour guide. You can buy Delphi tickets in advance or on the day and hire an audio guide.

  • Bring sunscreen, plenty of water, and comfortable shoes to walk around the ruins of the temple.

  • The Archaeological Museum of Delphi is wheelchair-accessible, but due to steep and uneven ground, it is not possible to visit the ruins up close via wheelchair.
