We had a great time getting to see the Museum of Delphi, the Temple of Apollo and the battlefield of the last stand of Thermopylae! Our driver (Chris) entertained us all day in the car with stories of Green history and Greek mythology! We truly enjoyed the experience.

Our guide, Chris, was exceptional. Prompt, fun, informative and a superb driver. The tour was great. Most of our time was spent at Delphi, and it was amazing to see all of the ruins as well as an excellent museum. Chris picked out the best restaurant we've eaten at in the 3 weeks of our multi-country trip. Homemade pasta and the best lamb chops we've ever had. The car was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this tour!

Important to realize the original battle ground has changed significantly. The museum is good for history but requires a bit of imagination. Delphi is great. Don’t stop before you reach the stadium on top of- best views begin halfway up.

What a wonderful tour! Clear and prompt hotel pickup with van. Our guide, Panos, reviewed the day prior to leaving Athens. The length of the trip was discussed. Options were given in regards to the length of time in the van and stops. I think there were only 2 items on viator listed itinerary we skipped on (thermopylae museum and getting in hot springs). Loved the open expectations. Panos made the tour for us! He was very knowledgeable about Greek history and all sites during the tour. He answered a lot of our questions regarding topics not covered on the tour as well! We were not rushed and lunch in Arachova was amazing. Delphi was a beautiful site (walk up to top took us about 30mins with taking photos and reading signs) and the monuments at thermopylae were very profound. We toured with a separate couple. It was agreed, Panos had given us the best history lesson, which ultimately made the tour for us!

NOT a private tour, even if the description says it is

I want to start by saying our driver/guide Chris was amazing, and this review is not a reflection of our experience with him. We searched for a private tour, including both Delphi and Thermopylae. We booked in July, for our Sept trip. We chose this tour, because of the itinerary: 3 historical sites, 2 museums and hot springs. We booked under a listing describing a private experience including "Only your group will participate", "This Private tour offers the most personalized way to see the sights", etc. The day before the booking we received a text asking to change the start time from 9am to 8 (due to concerns of museums closing early on Sundays). We agreed, and met the driver the next day. When we walked outside to the van, we were surprised that others were in the vehicle, but didn't initially say anything because we've experienced pickups leading to tour facilities before dividing into our private tours elsewhere. After realizing that we were in fact NOT on a private tour, I messaged the company. I didn't receive a response until hours later after I WhatsApp messaged the person who asked to change our tour's start time the day before. Turns out, the other couple also booked a private tour and had also messaged the tour company before we had spoked to them about it out of the car. The representative attempted to gaslight me into saying I didn't actually book a private tour, that they didn't even offer them, and a private tour would be way more money. Luckily I had screenshots of the booking description, as well as reviews about previously booked private tours. We did get a refund, but didn't receive the experience we booked. We didn't even go to the Thermopylae Museum and felt we couldn't swim at the hot springs because the other couple had no interest in participating at all. TLDR: We booked a private tour, got a small group tour instead. Company was rude & argued about what I booked despite having screenshots of the booking saying private experience.

We had a great day with Bill. He was very prompt and looked out for our every need throughout the day. We enjoyed the short film at Thermopylae but were disappointed with the hot springs. The itinerary description of the hot springs made it sound exquisite! But what we saw when we arrived was nothing like what we’d imagined. Bill helped us take some nice family pics there, and then we moved on. The rest of the day in the Delphi area was great! And the lunch where Bill took us was very good, with a beautiful view. We made a brief stop in Arachova, but there wasn’t much to see or do there. Since it was low season for them, it was very quiet. All in all, a day our family will not forget. Great day in Delphi

Costas was a great tour guide! He was there to pick us up for our private tour 10 mins early. He has so much knowledge of Greece and kept us engaged throughout the long car ride. The 300 battle ground was cool, but it is currently under construction. Delphi was beautiful, but I definitely recommend starting with the archeological site and skip the museum. Costas organized lunch for us and I had the best pasta of my life at this place! We ended at a little town close by where we did some souvenir shopping. It was about a 12 hour day, which made it worth the price of the private tour. Warning: there are many winding roads, so take your dramamine!

You'll be in very knowledgeable, capable, amd entertaining hands with Chris and Mr. Chris. Good comedic relief and very interested about each guest, making the long drive pass by quickly. Knew where all the best views were to take pictures and was happy to stop to take pictures. Took us to a good Restaurant/Tavern called TaBépva Bákxoc Delphi. The views and the food was amazing, with traditional Greek flavor. Made you feel lime family and a friend. We really enjoyed our time with Chris and Mr. Chris.

Mosgt Memorable Day Trip to Delphi

This trip was the highlight of our trip to Greece. Travelling to Delphi from Athens in one day makes for a long day and it was worth it. Delphi is truly amazing, and the mountain views are breathtaking. Our tour guide, Chris, was the best. His knowledge of Greek mythology kept us entertained during the long drive. We had lunch at an amazing restaurant in Delphi that was only a couple of miles away from the archeological site. We plan to use the same tour company and tour guide on our next trip to Greece to explore more of the country.

This tour is the BUSINESS!! If you’re lucky enough to get Dimitris as your tour guide, you’re in for a treat! He is a pro!! From when he picked us up. To the very end when he dropped us off. He’s polite, patient, proud, pleasantly playful, patriotic and pretty prolific! 💪 Going in, I was totally psyched about seeing the “300” portion of the tour. But when lunch time came around he suggested this restaurant in Delphi that overlooks the valley all the way to the sea. OMG! The view is guaranteed to leave you in awe. The museum and archeological sites for the Temple of Apollo will quench any history buff’s thirst for sure! Arachova is too cute! I felt like we drove to some village somewhere in Bavaria. This little town is full of nooks and crannies. Rich in history and rich in culture. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Chris, arrived for 8:30 AM pick up at the hotel for our two hour drive to Delphi. Chris was prompt and courteous. Once we were situated in the car for our drive he provided us with food and drink for the journey. Chris gave information for the planned sites to be visited. During the drive, he answered our many questions about various regions that we were passing through. Once we reached the site, we were dropped off in front of the ticket kiosks. He instructed us on where to go and what to expect for the visit. After our tour of the ruins and the historical museum at Delphi, Chris picked us up at the museum parking area. He took us to a small, wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view. The food was magnificent and delicious. Once we finished our meal, Chris picked us up and transported us to our final destination at Thermopylae. The drive was through a stunning and beautiful mountainous region of Greece. Once we reached Thermopylae, we were allowed to visit the site and hot springs. Chris then transported us safely back to our hotel in central Athens. The trip was through some of the most wonderful and stunning countryside in Greece. The Delphi ruins and museum were a fabulous view into Greece’s amazing history. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone with an interest in amazing history of Ancient Greece.

Enjoyed seeing the sights and the minimal explanations we got. The driver had a small car that really was not as comfortable as expected, based on previous tours in Greece. There was also a strong, unpleasant odor from the driver. Otherwise, it was fine!

We are sorry that we were not able to fulfill your expectations, but I have to mention that there are some things that are not acceptable. I should mention that there were only 2 people on the tour and we sent a Sedan vehicle, one of the largest in the tof category with all the contemporary benefits, new, it has been on the market for 2 years and its capacity was to transport 4 adults plus the driver. The specific driver Refers to all the reviews on the specific tour and its reviews are excellent without ever having any problems. We mention in detail in the description of the tour that if you need something more than what our guides offer, there is the possibility to add an official guide at an extra cost so you can have the tour you want. We have not received any request from you. Now as far as your comment about the driver and the perfumes is concerned, I think that he insulted his dignity and I will consider that it was just a bad moment.

Delphi is a charming place to visit. The Archaeological site is jaw-dropping. The place is rich with history and artifacts. Costas, our guide, is kind, patient and knowledgeable.
