Great trip. Best to have the more expensive option. The hotel was great and the food was superb. The stores next to the hotel was the highlight of the trip. Beautiful artisanal pieces for furniture and clothing

It was worth every penny. The overnight was wise, as it gave the right amount of attention to each site. The Tour Guide was knowledgeable, cheerful and very considerate especially when climbing hills and stairs ... and there is lot of climbing. So glad I booked this tour. Both sites are spectacular and a must for history lovers.

Dear Luis_J, Thank you for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear that you had a memorable experience on the Delphi and Meteora tour and that you enjoyed the hotel, the meals, and the local shops nearby. It’s wonderful to know these details helped make your trip special. Thank you for choosing Keytours, and we hope to welcome you again on another tour in Greece. Kind regards, The Keytours Team

Coming in the off season,...

Jerome_L, Dec 2025
Coming in the off season, our tour group was small and the sites less crowded. Many thanks to our amazing guide, who was very experienced and knowledgeable and made this trip a great one despite the poor weather on the second day.

Great trip

Karen_M, Nov 2025
There is a lot of time spent on the bus, but the views are pleasant and it's nice to see rural parts of Greece. Meteora is one of the most beautiful spots I have seen and going in November was amazing, the Fall leaves were still on the trees. Meteora and Delphi were amazing. The places we stopped to eat were pretty awful

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Thank you, Karen, for your review and for choosing our 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful rural landscapes and that Meteora — especially with the autumn colors — made such an impression. It truly is one of Greece’s most breathtaking destinations, and combining it with Delphi creates a wonderful experience. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the trip, and we’re glad the highlights stood out for you. We hope to welcome you again on another Keytours tour in the future!

Touching the sky!

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Dear Greg, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your 2-day tour to Delphi and Meteora was “worth every penny” and that the overnight stay gave you the time needed to enjoy each site without feeling rushed. It’s great to know that your tour guide’s knowledge, cheerfulness, and thoughtful pacing helped make the hills and stair climbs more manageable — there certainly is a lot of climbing, but the views are always worth it! We’re thrilled that you found both Delphi and Meteora as spectacular as we do. They truly are must-see destinations for history and nature lovers alike. Thank you again for choosing our tour, and we hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future! Best Regards, KeyTours team

Would recommend! 10/10

Madeline_T, Nov 2025
Completely amazing experience to two other world feeling locations. Packed with a lot of information about both sites and the country itself. Our tour guide was so passionate and kept everything well organized. Despite the driver being amazing, Dramamine was a must for me to take due to the route.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you so much for the wonderful 10/10 recommendation! We’re thrilled to hear that your 2-Day Delphi & Meteora experience felt unforgettable and that the passion of your guide and the organization of the tour made it so meaningful. Both sites truly do feel like other-world locations — we’re glad it had that impact for you. We also appreciate you mentioning the route — the road to both Delphi and Meteora is indeed mountainous in some sections, and many guests with motion sensitivity do find travel medicine helpful. We’re very happy that your driver and guide made the journey comfortable overall. Thank you again for choosing KeyTours. We hope you visit more of Greece with us next time!

2-day trip Delphi and Meteora

Linda_K, Oct 2025
This was an excellent way to see two unique sites outside of Athens and they are well worth it. Both leaders/guides were very helpful and shared lots of interesting information about Greece and the local areas along the way. There is a lot of driving time, but that’s the only way to get there, and there are rest stops along the way. We took the 4-star hotel, which was nice but saggy uncomfortable mattresses. Both tour guides (Evan and Catarina) were good.

Well organised tour with Hirula, Stellos and the guide who started the tour with us.

Thipul_P, Oct 2025
The tour was well organised.we had 2 guides one who took us to Delphi and the other from Delphi till tour end. Both were very knowledgeable and friendly. Please ensure that you have good walking shoes when climbing up Delphi as in some parts it’s just gravel. Also ensure that you bring a bottle of water. Since the climb + the time taken to absorb the history takes about a hour and a half the tour ends up closer to midday and there may not be sufficient time to visit the museum as it’s time for lunch and the drive to lunch is about half and hour away. If the tour is to include the museum then I think the tour should start around 7.30 am. The drive to kalambaka is very interesting on the winding roads. Along the way our guide Harula who joined us from Delphi gives us the history of the 300 Spartans and the allies who held back a larger Persian army. We were given an opportunity to take photos where they are buried. Harula ensured that we were checked into our hotels. We chose the 4 star hotel and found the room , the dinner n breakfast to be good for the extra money we paid. The trip to the monasteries were great with Harula providing us with all the history. We arrived back to Athens around 6.30pm .it was a very well organised trip and we had Stellos the coach driver who was great , he always parked closed to the sites that we were visiting so that we didn’t have to walk a long distance. Hirula was also great very knowledgeable approachable and with a good sense of humour. Finally there were ample toilet breaks so it was not a rush affair.

Central Greece

Dale_P, Oct 2025
A lot of time on the bus. Bus ride was windy and step hills so if you get nausea in buses beware. Take Dramamine if you think you need it.

Well organized and historically informative tour of Delphi and Meteora

Chantal_R, Oct 2025
This tour was very well organized and the historical information provided was thorough and comprehensive. All throughout the bus ride, our guide provided us information on Greece and the areas we were driving through. She was very knowledgeable, and it made the bus ride much more interesting. Our guide was very good at keeping us on schedule, and being clear about the expected meeting times. This tour does give enough time to visit the Monasteries but the Delphi site is quite rushed. If you want sufficient time to visit Delphi, this is not the right tour to choose. During the bus ride, there are sufficient stops for refreshments/meals and bathroom breaks. However, as commonly encountered in this world, the women's line to use the facilities was always long since the stop locations are also used by other tour buses. The schedule changed from what I originally booked, so we visited Leonidas on Day 1 instead of Day 2, and I don't remember this being called out to us at the start of the tour so I was a bit confused about that. I checked the tour description after and it did clearly state that Leonidas was schedule for Day 2 so not sure why that was changed. As for the hotel, I wasn't able to receive a lot of information on the choice of hotels prior to booking, even though I did reach out over chat on Viator, so I chose a 3-star hotel given we were only in the hotel for about 12 hours. The hotel was just OK and didn't come close to the 3-star hotels in Athens. The bed creaked with the slightest movement, there was no hair dryer in the room and only shampoo and a bar of soap for bathroom amenities. The dinner that was included at the hotel was a buffet service and the food was just OK. As an example, they offered Jello as one of the dessert options. I can't attest to the 4-star hotel experience, but it might be better to choose a tour that doesn't include the hotel/dinner option if you want to have a great meal in Meteora.

Very poor start to a good trip.

andrewadenny, Oct 2025
They tell in to be at pick-up point one hour before the bus turns up! They arrive 35 minutes late and then you drive around Athens for an hour acting as a shuttle for other people that are on another tour. Very poor treatment of paying customers.

Ok

Julie_Y, Oct 2025
If can give more time to give sightseeing pictures, will be better. We are not happy the Drop off not in pickup location

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Dear Julie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for joining our 2-Day Delphi and Meteora Tour from Athens. We’re glad you enjoyed visiting these incredible sites. Regarding the photo stops, our itinerary is carefully planned to cover a lot within two days, while still ensuring enough time at the main attractions. Our guides always do their best to allow guests time for photos, but we must also respect the schedule so that everyone can enjoy each site comfortably and return on time. As for the drop-off point, it may differ from the pickup location due to traffic restrictions and regulations in central Athens, especially for tour buses. However, we always ensure drop-off locations are safe and as close as possible to the original meeting point. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again in the future for another memorable experience. Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Joe_L, Oct 2025
We absolutely loved this tour! It is a perfect option if you want to do an activity outside of Athens. Delphi was our favorite - it also helped that our tour guide Michael was entertaining. Meteora was really great too. The architecture of the monasteries were unique. We chose the 3 star hotel and it was just right.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Dear Joe, Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear you absolutely loved the 2-Day Delphi and Meteora Tour. Our guide, Marianna is...

Sabine_L, Oct 2025
Our guide, Marianna is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. She offered numerous historical facts -with such great depth and details-about our two sites, Delphi and Meteora, along with information about the landscape outside our bus windows. The ‘whispers’ or electronic connection with ear bud and battery set , allowed us to hear everything she said- even as we navigated the crowded places. Thank you Marianna!

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Dear Sabine, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your tour with Marianna and appreciated her deep knowledge and engaging commentary. It’s great to know the audio system helped you fully experience her insights, even in busy areas. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with her — she’ll be so pleased! We hope to welcome you again on another tour soon. Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Fantastic Two Day Delphi & Monasteries tour

Cari_B, Sep 2025
Absolutely must do if you spend any time in Athens. Michael the tour guide was enlightening and fun. You must see the monasteries! Breathtaking!! Lots of steps & steep inclines so wear proper shoes. Upgrade to better hotel-well worth the small price increase. Town of Meteroa is lovely.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Dear Cari, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your time in Athens and Meteora was such a memorable experience. Michael will be delighted to know that his knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour even more enjoyable for you. We couldn’t agree more—the monasteries are truly breathtaking, and your advice about proper shoes is spot on! We’re also glad you enjoyed the upgraded hotel and the charm of Meteora town. We hope to welcome you back for more unforgettable experiences in the future! Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Meteora tour

lydia_s, Sep 2025
It was a very interesting archaeological discovery drawer about ancient Greek, and not so ancient Greek orthodox Christian theories, especially the one in Meteora, which was on top of Paul mountain inspires

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Dear Lydia, Thank you for your review! We’re delighted to hear that you found the archaeological and cultural aspects so interesting. The combination of ancient Greek history and the spiritual traditions of Meteora truly make it a unique and inspiring destination. We’re glad you enjoyed the experience, and we hope to welcome you on another journey of discovery soon! Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Meteora is a must - this is a comfortable way to see it

Linda_N, Sep 2025
This was a wonderful tour and Meteora is not to be missed! Key Tours did a very good job of getting us from place to place, explaining the background of everything we'd see, and feeding us. We had good hotel accommodations. The pacing was comfortable, with bathroom breaks and slow walks up steep steps. Delphi was a little bit rushed and crowded, and there wasn't sufficient time to see all that we would have liked or visited the small museum on site. Small points: The bus rides are long and no water provided, so buy or bring your own.

Carolane_T, Sep 2025
Very interesting, the guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Meteora is so beautiful and out there that we got chills running down our spines. This is an absolute must if you plan on visiting greece.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Dear Carolane, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour and felt the magic of Meteora, it truly is a breathtaking place. Our guide will be delighted to know their knowledge added to your experience. We couldn’t agree more — Meteora is a must-see in Greece, and we’re so glad you got to feel its beauty. We hope to welcome you back for more unforgettable adventures! Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Both Delphi and Mateora are worth visiting

satyavenu_k, Sep 2025
Both Delphi and Mateora are worth visiting. Bus ride was very comfortable. Views of the monasteries was breathtaking. I wish they included visit to few more monsteries.

Exceptionnal experience!

Louise_L, Aug 2025
Extraordinary experience! You cannot visit Greece without seeing Meteora. I cannot describe with words the beauty of this place, it needs to be visited. The tour was done by Keetours ans very well organized. The bus was a Mercedes that could accomodate about 20 passengers, we were only 6. Our guide Irini was an exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and warm hearted guide. Our bus driver, Spiro, made us feel very secure, a very good driver. We chose the 4* Divani Meteora Hotel. Very nice room and clean but no coffee machine in the room. We had the dinner included. I must say that we found the dinner underwhelming, and our biggest disappointment was that coffee wasn't include- we had to pay extra if we wanted any. Since there was no coffee machine in the room, we had to go out to find a coffee shop. All in all, we were very pleased and I would absolutely recommend this excursion without hesitation!

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re delighted that Meteora left such an extraordinary impression—it truly is one of Greece’s most breathtaking treasures. We’re glad to hear that Irini’s knowledge and warmth, along with Spiro’s excellent driving, made your journey so enjoyable and secure. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the hotel amenities and dinner service. While we’re happy you found the hotel comfortable, your comments about the coffee and dining experience are very valuable, and we’ll share them with our partners for improvement. We’re thrilled that, overall, you were very pleased and would recommend this excursion without hesitation. We hope to welcome you on another unforgettable journey soon! Best Regards, KeyTours team

Delphi and Meteora were fantastic!

Salina_S, Aug 2025
We enjoyed the hike and tour at Delphi. So much more history than just the oracle. The hotel had good food and an outdoor pool. Bus up to the monasteries in Meteora, with an interesting surprise stop. Monasteries were full Byzantine art and architecture, and truly breathtaking views. Ladies, must wear skirts in the monasteries, but there were available for loan.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Dear Salina, Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad you enjoyed the hike and history at Delphi, the comfort of the hotel, and the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora. The Byzantine art and views truly are unforgettable, and we’re happy the tour gave you a chance to enjoy it all—including the thoughtful surprise stop along the way. We appreciate your helpful note about the dress code too, and we hope to welcome you on another journey soon! Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Overall a good tour,...

CDMan, Aug 2025
Overall a good tour, comfortable bus and a helpful guide. Visited some amazing places but I wish we had more stops to take pictures along the way. For example we stopped in a beautiful town of Arachova at a local tourist trap gift shop but were not told that just 200 meters away there is an amazing lookout at the town clock tower and we just drove past it after the shop. Also, I wouldn't bother with a 4 star hotel, the beds were really old and uncomfortable and the view of the mountains was blocked by the adjacent building.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Dear Guest, Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the comfort of the bus, the support of your guide, and the beautiful places visited on the tour. We appreciate your comments about photo opportunities and the stop in Arachova—your suggestion about highlighting the clock tower viewpoint is very helpful and will be shared with our team. We’re also sorry to hear the hotel did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the beds and the view. Your insights are valuable as we continue working to improve both the tour and accommodations for our guests. We’re delighted you still enjoyed the overall experience and hope to welcome you on another journey soon! Best Regards, KeyTours team

Wonderful Delphi and Meteora 2-day

Matt_G, Jul 2025
The trip was wonderful. The tour had only 13 people, which made for lots of space to spread out and relax on the comfortable, air-conditioned bus. Our driver was amazing and smooth. Our guide, Christina, was wonderful, helpful, patient but firm, and very knowledgeable. She taught us so much! The trip was simply fabulous

Response from Host, Jul 2025

A must for Greece!

Cecilia_B, Jun 2025
Meteora and Delphi are two must-sees in Greece. This was a very fun, informative, and stress-free way of seeing both. Our guide was amazing, she knew so much about Greek history and culture. The places we stopped for food were tasty, and the hotel was perfectly acceptable. The van was comfortable and even had WiFi!

A great educational and scenic trip

Alice_O, Jun 2025
Our tour guide Evan is awesome. He is quite knowledgeable of history and Greek Orthodox religion. Learned so much from him. We had only 1.5 hours on Delphi, not enough time to visit the stadium nor the museum. However, we visited two monasteries with plenty of time. The scenery at meteora were amazingly beautiful. We chose three star hotel. The room. Dinner and breakfast were adequate as you expect from a three star accommodation. Btw, there were scout 20-25 people in a 50 people bus. Quite comfortable. Overall, fantastic trip.

Lian_P, Jun 2025
We had a great time with this 2-day tour. Worth every penny. Especially thanks to our tour guide and bus driver. He is very professional, informative, responsible and helpful. We learned a lot of history from this tour. Highly recommended!

George our guide 10, Key Tours 0

Kerry_W, May 2025
Kry Tours never picked me up at my hotel as promised. I had to taxi to their office to make the bus. The only reason I rated the trip so highly was because our guide George was phenomenal. Wish we had more time in Delphi. There wasn’t time to walk to the stadium and see the museum. Had we left Athens on time/earlier perhaps there would have been. Hotel overnight in Kalabaka was not good-room was clean enough but included meals were terrible. Buffet food not kept hot. Meteora was amazing. George was everything. Key Tours needs to get their act together.

This trip is a must!

Laura_S, May 2025
This trip is a must! Perfect amount of information and free time to enjoy the sights on your own. Christina was wonderful. Very knowledgeable. Mario, the bus driver, was amazing!

2day Delphi and Meteora tour not to be missed!

Dori_M, May 2025
The communication with Key tours was a bit rocky. I didn’t really get a confirmation and the meeting place was a bit confusing. But we were picked up right on time and once on the bus, everything was super smooth. The bus was clean and comfortable. The tour guides were informative and very knowledgeable about the tour locations. I would suggest upgrading to the 4star hotel as the 3 star was very bare bones and the dining wasn’t great. But this tour wasn’t about the food, it was about the sites. And honestly, I have no words that can convey how remarkable they are. Do BOTH Delphi and Meteora. Yes, you are a little rushed at Delphi but the ride up and through the mountains is breathtaking too. Meteora is otherworldly. Pictures don’t capture its beauty. Both are true gems of Greece that should be experienced!

Response from Host, May 2025

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're glad to hear that everything went smoothly once the tour began, and that you enjoyed the clean and comfortable bus as well as the informative and knowledgeable guides. Your recommendation to upgrade to the 4-star hotel is helpful, and we completely agree—Delphi and Meteora are truly unforgettable. The scenery, the history, and the atmosphere make this tour a special experience. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you again on another adventure in Greece!
