Great trip. Best to have the more expensive option. The hotel was great and the food was superb. The stores next to the hotel was the highlight of the trip. Beautiful artisanal pieces for furniture and clothing

Coming in the off season, our tour group was small and the sites less crowded. Many thanks to our amazing guide, who was very experienced and knowledgeable and made this trip a great one despite the poor weather on the second day.
Karen_M, Nov 2025
There is a lot of time spent on the bus, but the views are pleasant and it's nice to see rural parts of Greece.
Meteora is one of the most beautiful spots I have seen and going in November was amazing, the Fall leaves were still on the trees.
Meteora and Delphi were amazing.
The places we stopped to eat were pretty awful

Thank you, Karen, for your review and for choosing our 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour.
We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful rural landscapes and that Meteora — especially with the autumn colors — made such an impression. It truly is one of Greece’s most breathtaking destinations, and combining it with Delphi creates a wonderful experience.
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the trip, and we’re glad the highlights stood out for you.
We hope to welcome you again on another Keytours tour in the future!

It was worth every penny. The overnight was wise, as it gave the right amount of attention to each site. The Tour Guide was knowledgeable, cheerful and very considerate especially when climbing hills and stairs ... and there is lot of climbing. So glad I booked this tour. Both sites are spectacular and a must for history lovers.

Dear Greg,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your 2-day tour to Delphi and Meteora was “worth every penny” and that the overnight stay gave you the time needed to enjoy each site without feeling rushed.
It’s great to know that your tour guide’s knowledge, cheerfulness, and thoughtful pacing helped make the hills and stair climbs more manageable — there certainly is a lot of climbing, but the views are always worth it!
We’re thrilled that you found both Delphi and Meteora as spectacular as we do. They truly are must-see destinations for history and nature lovers alike.
Thank you again for choosing our tour, and we hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future!
Best Regards,
KeyTours team

Completely amazing experience to two other world feeling locations. Packed with a lot of information about both sites and the country itself. Our tour guide was so passionate and kept everything well organized. Despite the driver being amazing, Dramamine was a must for me to take due to the route.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you so much for the wonderful 10/10 recommendation!
We’re thrilled to hear that your 2-Day Delphi & Meteora experience felt unforgettable and that the passion of your guide and the organization of the tour made it so meaningful. Both sites truly do feel like other-world locations — we’re glad it had that impact for you.
We also appreciate you mentioning the route — the road to both Delphi and Meteora is indeed mountainous in some sections, and many guests with motion sensitivity do find travel medicine helpful. We’re very happy that your driver and guide made the journey comfortable overall.
Thank you again for choosing KeyTours. We hope you visit more of Greece with us next time!

This was an excellent way to see two unique sites outside of Athens and they are well worth it. Both leaders/guides were very helpful and shared lots of interesting information about Greece and the local areas along the way. There is a lot of driving time, but that’s the only way to get there, and there are rest stops along the way. We took the 4-star hotel, which was nice but saggy uncomfortable mattresses. Both tour guides (Evan and Catarina) were good.

The tour was well organised.we had 2 guides one who took us to Delphi and the other from Delphi till tour end. Both were very knowledgeable and friendly. Please ensure that you have good walking shoes when climbing up Delphi as in some parts it’s just gravel. Also ensure that you bring a bottle of water. Since the climb + the time taken to absorb the history takes about a hour and a half the tour ends up closer to midday and there may not be sufficient time to visit the museum as it’s time for lunch and the drive to lunch is about half and hour away. If the tour is to include the museum then I think the tour should start around 7.30 am. The drive to kalambaka is very interesting on the winding roads. Along the way our guide Harula who joined us from Delphi gives us the history of the 300 Spartans and the allies who held back a larger Persian army. We were given an opportunity to take photos where they are buried. Harula ensured that we were checked into our hotels. We chose the 4 star hotel and found the room , the dinner n breakfast to be good for the extra money we paid. The trip to the monasteries were great with Harula providing us with all the history. We arrived back to Athens around 6.30pm .it was a very well organised trip and we had Stellos the coach driver who was great , he always parked closed to the sites that we were visiting so that we didn’t have to walk a long distance. Hirula was also great very knowledgeable approachable and with a good sense of humour. Finally there were ample toilet breaks so it was not a rush affair.

A lot of time on the bus. Bus ride was windy and step hills so if you get nausea in buses beware. Take Dramamine if you think you need it.

This tour was very well organized and the historical information provided was thorough and comprehensive. All throughout the bus ride, our guide provided us information on Greece and the areas we were driving through. She was very knowledgeable, and it made the bus ride much more interesting. Our guide was very good at keeping us on schedule, and being clear about the expected meeting times. This tour does give enough time to visit the Monasteries but the Delphi site is quite rushed. If you want sufficient time to visit Delphi, this is not the right tour to choose. During the bus ride, there are sufficient stops for refreshments/meals and bathroom breaks. However, as commonly encountered in this world, the women's line to use the facilities was always long since the stop locations are also used by other tour buses. The schedule changed from what I originally booked, so we visited Leonidas on Day 1 instead of Day 2, and I don't remember this being called out to us at the start of the tour so I was a bit confused about that. I checked the tour description after and it did clearly state that Leonidas was schedule for Day 2 so not sure why that was changed. As for the hotel, I wasn't able to receive a lot of information on the choice of hotels prior to booking, even though I did reach out over chat on Viator, so I chose a 3-star hotel given we were only in the hotel for about 12 hours. The hotel was just OK and didn't come close to the 3-star hotels in Athens. The bed creaked with the slightest movement, there was no hair dryer in the room and only shampoo and a bar of soap for bathroom amenities. The dinner that was included at the hotel was a buffet service and the food was just OK. As an example, they offered Jello as one of the dessert options. I can't attest to the 4-star hotel experience, but it might be better to choose a tour that doesn't include the hotel/dinner option if you want to have a great meal in Meteora.

They tell in to be at pick-up point one hour before the bus turns up! They arrive 35 minutes late and then you drive around Athens for an hour acting as a shuttle for other people that are on another tour. Very poor treatment of paying customers.
