This is an excellent opportunity to explore a bit of the Loire Valley with ease. The castle choices were perfect, and we enjoyed Blois. Wine tasting was also fun. Our guide with City Wonders, Daniel, was knowledgeable and helpful. He even treated us to some of his singing/song-writing skills on the way back to Paris.

Really good introduction to the Champagne Region. The 2 wineries we visited produced outstanding wines. Getting to visit a small, family owned winery was a great comparison to the really large winery we visited in the afternoon. Our driver/ guide was extremely knowledgeable. My tour guide was very knowledgeable about all the sites, the best points of view during the visit, and also shared a lot about the history of each site and the region on the road between each. The day was packed with beautiful spaces and also time to relax and enjoy food/drink during the day. They cover the best chateaux in the region. Highly recommend!

We were blown away by Chef Alex’s tour. He was truly inspiring and so passionate about the area, the history, the journey and the distinctions of the cheeses. I don’t know if I just didn’t read the overview well enough but I was thoroughly impressed and pleased with the depth that he went into during the tour. He also lays the tour out in a way that progresses from calm to intense flavor, all while you are conversing with new friends. Couldn’t recommend this enough! This was an amazing introduction into French culture and cuisine.
