French Appellations + Laury = Heaven

Our sommelier Laury was excellent! She was so knowledgeable about wine, was funny and all together a fun, smart, driven person to hang out with. Laury, a future Master of Wine, kept us all entertained and educated us on many different characteristics of wine and the art of wine tasting. She was able to answer all questions and did it with humor and extensive knowledge. My husband and I who have joined many wine tasting as well as hosted many for family, loved her choice of wines. We learned so much from her and really enjoyed all of the wines. While some wines aren't my favorite, I can appreciate all of the different appellations. I would definitely recommend anyone who has any interest in wine - even just a slight interest- to attend one of these wine tastings.

Great tour to maximize a day trip in the Loire Valley. Tour includes transportation and self guided tour of two castles (about 1.5 hrs at each), along with a visit to Blois for exterior view of a third castle (with time for lunch). The castles are large, so you do need to tour through them at a quicker pace - but it's a good option to see that much variety in 12-13 hours (including transportation time).

Fantastic cheese experience including wine

Great experience! I learned about cheese and some about wine and most importantly enjoyed myself. While our session was led by 2 delightful trainees (Doriane and Raphael’s), Max still engaged so I didn’t feel like we missed any of his knowledge or passion for the topic. Things to know: - there was a lot of cheese for each person and I actually enjoyed them all (even the blue cheese which I normally don’t like) - all the wines were white or champagne (apparently red wine overshadows the flavors of the cheese) - this was not a session where you engage a lot with other participants as there’s so much information to cover with 8 cheeses and 5 wines

We recommend this tour!

My husband I were visiting Paris and we had our daughter book this tour for us and it was great! We are from the Bahamas so this was a really nice change of scenery for us. The tour was informative and educational and the champagnes were savory. Our tour guide was pleasant, knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. The meeting point was about 15 minutes away from our hotel in Paris which was extremely convenient in comparison to other tours where the meeting point is quite a distance by car or train. The vehicle used to take us to the various locations was also very comfortable. It’s a long day so get a good breakfast and stay hydrated. We definitely recommend this tour.

Julie was a fantastic guide for this tour - being a local herself, she was well-informed & made sure to keep things interesting for the group. Some classic french bites that you would expect, but also a few interesting ones that you might have otherwise overlooked. Plenty of insights & production information on food as well, which was very interesting.

My tour guide was very knowledgeable about all the sites, the best points of view during the visit, and also shared a lot about the history of each site and the region on the road between each. The day was packed with beautiful spaces and also time to relax and enjoy food/drink during the day. They cover the best chateaux in the region. Highly recommend!

This was wonderful. I met a couple from Florida, two gentilemen from Japan, a group from Austria and more. The tastings were amazing. I tried a grape I'd never heard of - aligote from Bourgogne. And an orange wine. 5 wines, including 1 Champagne and 5 cheeses in a very relaxed setting. I would do this tasting every time I visit Paris!

Amazing Experience

Jérôme was amazing! He brought out a map and taught me a bit of history of the wine in the country. He let me try red and white wine! He made sure that they were very different in taste to give me a full experience. The cured meats, cheeses, and bread was fresh! He too taught me how to pair these with wines! He is very knowledgeable and impressive. I definitely bought a bottle at the end!!! He was awesome and will definitely recommend you all attend! He is so passionate about wines!

The Best!!!

I cannot recommend this experience enough. One of the best I’ve had in Paris. Dion was an excellent, kind, and engaging instructor and guide.. I learned more about wine and wine/cheese pairings then I thought I would and thoroughly enjoyed this experience. It’s a must do and I will be back!
