Spend an evening sampling the best of French wine during a wine- and Champagne-tasting session in Paris. Make your way to a beautifully renovated wine cellar in Paris' city center, not far from the Louvre Museum, and settle in for a French wine masterclass.
With guidance from a sommelier, taste six different French wines from all over the country. Learn what makes French wines so beloved. Hear about how Champagne is made, and why it's long been considered the best bubbly. Find out how to taste wine correctly, what words like "appellation" and "terroir" mean, and how to read a French wine label.
This wine tasting is designed to give you a deeper understanding of French wines in a relaxed setting where you can actually enjoy what you're learning. Sip wine and nibble fresh bread, or upgrade to add a plate of cheese and/or charcuterie for a more substantial snack.
At the conclusion of the tasting, you'll receive a list of all the wines you sampled, and leave with greater confidence for the next time you're handed a wine list in a restaurant.

One of the best experiences that we had in Paris. Our sommelier Jasmina had studied wine in Europe extensively and had over 10 years experience. The event was fantastic and make sure you get the cheese and charcuterie too as the sommelier will tell you what best matches with each wine to elevate the experience. I would recommend this to anyone going to Paris. The course was an introductory level so don’t fear if you know nothing about French wine like I did. Jasmina was a great “fun” teacher who really engaged with the entire group. We stayed back afterwards at the wine bar and it was great too. Thank you for the fantastic experience. 10/10

This was an amazing experience for someone who wants to learn about wine! Our guide was Willy, I’m not sure if I’m spelling that right but he was soo incredible. Very knowledgeable and super helpful with everyone’s questions! I LEARNED SO MUCH!! This was the best thing I did in Paris! 100% would recommend !!

A very educational and fun evening learning about the history and different aspects of French wines. Pierre, our sommelier, was funny and a great host. The wines overall were decent. The location is excellent and in a very fun cave like room. We got some food and they provided bread perfect for a pre-dinner happy hour.

It was nice to listen to the guides detail of the region of wines. Questions were asked and answered. The other guests helped add a piece of uniqueness to the experience. There is one champagne, 2 white wines, and 3 red wines for tasting. Cheese or meat is extra.

Wonderful wines to taste with large pours and a knowledgeable host. My only complaint is that we paid for charcuterie trays for 3 and got only one small plate with only two cheeses. Solos got the same size. When we asked for more cheese, we were charged for it. I think it would make more sense to book separately.

I did enjoy this tour however I found it very loud which meant that I could not hear the SOM explaining the wines. The American guest talked over the host which I found really frustrating.

This was amazing. Unfortunately, i don't remember our guide's name, he was from Bordeaux if I remember right and ginger, and he was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeble about the wines and the wine making, approachable for questions and was able to give us a little french wine history while we tasted without ever being boring, mixing the content with clever jokes and humor in context with the conversation. He was also always very happy and definately made the experience better. The wines were fantastic, starting with subtle, fruity drinks to more mature wine but all of great quality. The charcuterie was good too, and you can have bread and water constantly too. My favorite wine was the Loire- Sancerre

What a wonderful way to start the day in Paris! Come hungry! There are decadent delights that only Paris can bring. Waffles, hot chocolate , croissants, quiche, baguettes and cheese! Our tour guide Jesita was fabulous. It is a fabulous tour for foodies to start the day!
