Completely worth it!

The Loire Valley region is so beautiful and offers many must see destinations. This trip included visits to 3 remarkable castles, lunch on our own in an excellent local restaurant, and a wine tasting which was very fun. Our guide, Julian, was the perfect host. He was the exact right amount of information and guidance and then time to explore on our own. He was an excellent driver and a great communicator. Julian is a lifelong Parisian and he is very knowledgeable. The castles are all very unique and the gardens and surrounding grounds were beautiful to explore. This was a great value and well worth the time. We especially enjoyed the countryside after a week in the city.

Wonderful Wine!

Wonderful wines to taste with large pours and a knowledgeable host. My only complaint is that we paid for charcuterie trays for 3 and got only one small plate with only two cheeses. Solos got the same size. When we asked for more cheese, we were charged for it. I think it would make more sense to book separately.

Worth every penny!

This was such an amazing trip from Paris! Our tour guide, Aurelien, made it worth it! He was a sommelier turned tour guide and we were so well informed on our bus ride there.. when the champagne tour guide asked the group questions, only our group knew the answers!! Aurelien was amazing, fun, professional and hugely knowledgeable!! Definitely worth the extra money to have a smaller group with this caliber of tour guide.

There is just as much information about flavor combos, history and the staff is so friendly. We entered saying “I guess everyone has to have cheese and wine in Paris” and left feeling like we took a very loved college class. This is the best must try. If you are hesitant, do it! It is a very relaxing and informative day. Pierre was so nice and informative! Although I was a solo traveller i felt very welcome and at home. The wines were superb. Although I knew a little about wines I was still surprised at how much the cheese pairings added to the whole taste experience! I highly recommend this tour!! Wonderful experience! Our sommelier, Clément, was incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was the most fun I’ve ever had on a wine tasting/tour. The wines were great and it was the perfect cool break on a hot Paris day. I would highly recommend! Tip- there is no food on the tour, so we grabbed a quick croissant snack before!

We had no idea that this wine tasting would be so good. The wine shop is located in the 6th Arron. - La Maison Des Millesimes. Our sommelier was very helpful. We had a blind tasting of 6-7 wines. He was very patient with us but he also made us think about the wine. We all came away with new information. We enjoyed the little snacks too.

I have not been to many wine tastings, but someone will have to work very hard to top this one. Our guide was well versed in all aspects of the industry, from how the grapes are grown to government regulations. And she handled it all with style. We would definitely come again.
