Mont St. Michael - It's a wonder to behold.
Our guide Rudolfo (Rudy) give us a lot of information and history on our way to and from Mont St. Michael. Definitely bring some comfortable shoes, an extra set of knees (lots of stairs to climb - 300+), but once you get to the abbey it is worth the climb. I would definitely encourage those want to see Mont St. Michael to do it in the off-season; schools were on a two week break so there were a lot of people, but according to Rudolfo, not nearly as many as in summer, so do with that information what you will. I still have a good time and got a LOT of great photos!

Three hours well spent
Arrive early and spent time in the Jardin Des Tuileries. Bring a blanket and enjoy a snack, or walk around and see the statues and monuments. When it’s time for the tour it’s easy to find the guides near the Arc du Triomphre Des Carrousal. Our guide Severine was amazing. She guided us through security to enter the museum. From the start she gave us bits of information about the growth of the museum and who commissioned the different buildings. Throughout the tour she provided us with the best views of the art we saw, gave us background information and fun facts. Overall an amazing experience. Highly recommend.

Great tour with a great guide!
Jasmina was an absolute joy as a guide. We had Sidiq as a driver, and he did a fabulous job all day. This trip was a great way to see some of the Loire Valley. Jasmina shared so much great information with us. We had a small group (about half the bookings didn't show up for an unknown reason), so we got an intimate tour. Both of the castles were great, and the bonus wine tasting at Chenonceau was great! (It's the first Sauvignon Blanc I've ever enjoyed!) Bloise wasn't a town that was on my radar, but I really enjoyed our time there. It was very cute. Overall, it was a great day and exactly what I was hoping for! The French countryside in April is stunning, which was an added bonus to our amazing weather.

While it's tempting to spend your entire French vacation in Paris, the city is located within commuting distance of so many major highlights and landmarks that it's worth venturing beyond city limits. Your options for Paris day trips can be customized to fit your interests: History buffs can venture to the World War II landmarks of Normandy; architecture fans can visit the many grand châteaux surrounding the city; and wine lovers have some of the world's most celebrated vineyards within reach.
