My sister and I recently did the Bamboo Rafting & Limestone Massage experience at Great River in Lethe District, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica! The experience was absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that was because of our raft captain, Jerome. From the moment we arrived, Jerome was professional, polite, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable right away and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the entire experience. His customer service was exceptional, and he truly went above and beyond to make our rafting trip memorable. Not only was Jerome an excellent raft captain, but he also gave one of the best limestone leg and foot massages! The massage was relaxing, refreshing, and exactly what we needed while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the river. On top of that, Jerome kept us laughing the entire time. His personality, sense of humor, and positive energy made the experience even more enjoyable. What stood out most was how attentive and accommodating he was. He made sure we were comfortable, answered our questions, shared information about the area, and created a fun, laid-back atmosphere that made us feel like we were spending time with a friend rather than just a tour guide. If you’re planning to do bamboo rafting at Great River in Lethe District, I highly recommend requesting Jerome specifically as your raft captain. Trust me—it makes a difference! This was the first time on this excursion and it was The Best time my sister and I had. The experience was beautiful, the atmosphere was excellent and our guide (KEVIN) WAS THE BOMB. ASK FOR HIM. He was such a gentleman from the Hello to the See you next time. He made this experience comfortable and made this a memorable snapshot of our trip. Fun Day Tubing and Rafting with Davion!

Our driver picked us up on time at our hotel and delivered us to the Rio Bueno to begin our tubing adventure. Davion, our very engaging guide (Yeah Mon !), helped us gear up with helmets and life jackets. We then proceeded to tube down the river tethered together as Davion guided us. He pointed out various flora and fauna and answered all our questions. He explained how much the river had changed since the devastating hurricane of October 2025. The river is now wider and more shallow. We stopped along the way to swim and even jump in the river using a rope swing. At the end of the tube ride we switched to a raft and paddled our way down the river to where it flows into the Caribbean. We paddled to a small beach to where our driver was waiting to take us back to our hotel. We also appreciate the care Davion took helping our 74 year old “patriarch” getting on and off the tube and in and out of the raft.

This was amazing! The whole day was incredible. Our tour guide PJ, was the best. As we drove between locations he told us facts/knowledge about the area. We had a good amount of time at each activity. PJ then took us to Linda’s to have some authentic Jamaican food and to the Taj Mahall for shopping, which was a nice touch to the trip. Could not fault anything. For the price you pay, it is so worth everything and more.

An Unforgettable Jamaican Adventure

I had an amazing day tour that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of an adrenaline rush. Hiking Dunn’s River Falls was a highlight; the views from the climb are absolutely breathtaking. Our guides and photographers were fantastic as they were so interactive and skilled at making sure everyone had a great time while capturing the best moments. The Blue Hole was another level of excitement. The cliff jumps were a huge thrill! A quick heads-up: this tour does require you to be physically active. You’ll be climbing the falls as a group, and while it’s not overly difficult, you need to be ready to move. Also, if you aren't a fan of heights, some of the jumps at Blue Hole might be a bit much for you. A few pro-tips: • You must have water shoes. • Leave anything you want to keep dry in the shuttle. You are guaranteed to get wet! • Definitely grab those pictures.

Dowey was fantastic! He arrived exactly on time and exchanged his contact information so that no one would be lost at the different locations. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave mini history lessons as we took the drive. He acted as a caring father figure and warned us of the to-do’s and not to-do’s. That is exactly what I got we did everything that was included in package pickup all the excursions free lunch the driver also had WIFI. Our experience with Courtney Taylor and the Blue Hole and River Tubing Combo in Ocho Rios was great! I traveled with my partner and family, and from start to finish, everything felt seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely fun. Even though the weather didn’t fully cooperate and we had some rain, the team completely turned it around and made the day one of the most memorable of our trip. That alone speaks volumes about the level of care and professionalism. A huge highlight was our guide, Tilia. She was sweet, funny, and instantly broke the ice with our group, making everyone feel comfortable and excited right away. She brought such great energy to the experience and really made it special. We also had a fantastic driver, Tyronne, who was friendly, reliable, and made the journey smooth and enjoyable. You could tell we were in great hands the entire time. Between the stunning Blue Hole, the fun of the river tubing, and the warmth of the staff, this was truly a standout experience. Rain and all, it’s something we’ll be talking about for a long time. Well worth the money, the site was beautiful, people are friendly, and knowledgeable. Can, Davon, and Cameron were fantastic with this excursion!!!! I had so much fun.
