I booked this service to take my family of 6 to and from the Royalton in Corral Spring. Our driver (Ricardo) was on time, professional yet friendly and drove safely. The vehicle was clean, spacious and comfortable. Steve was accommodating after I got our departure time wrong and rescheduled our pickup time. I highly recommend this service.

Went ok overall. Just giving some constructive criticism: I had to call the company to let them know we had arrived at the airport. We went to the location where we were told to meet the driver, but the driver was not there. So no sign with our name on it as previously advised would be the case. I would also comment on the older fleet of vehicles and the replacement car for the trip from the hotel back to the airport, which seemed more like a party bus/van rather than a luxury SUV. However, we accomplished what we needed to on the trip, but I do believe we overpaid for what was delivered.

Cannot trust this company or Viator

I booked transportation from airport to hotel for my family vacation via Luxury Star Travels, a company listed in Viator. The listing showed “Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios Areas Private Luxury Transfer”. I have an email that confirmed my booking. On day of arrival in Ocho Rios - Ian Fleming Airport, we waited for our driver outside in the heat. All other passengers were picked up. We were still waiting. I tried calling the number listed, got an error message that the number was not working. I then sent a message to the listed email. Got a reply from vendor soon after saying that they had informed Viator that they would not take this business since Ocho Rios is too far away from Montego Bay where they are located (even though Ocho Rios is listed in ad on Viator). The email stated that Luxury Star Travels had informed Viator on the day of booking that they would not accept the business. I saw emails from Viator leading up to our travels reminding us that our booking was coming up soon. Had to scramble, take a chance with an unknown local taxi with my family. Not good. I’ve read and heard bad stories about local taxis in Jamaica which is the primary reason I pre-booked transfer. There were other options on Viator but I picked this one due to type of vehicle offered and positive reviews. Within minutes of my email contact with vendor, I received a refund email from Viator. Someone dropped the ball here. I’m very disappointed in Luxury Star Travels and Viator. I have emails and screenshots proving all statements above. Can’t trust either company going forward. Major disappointment.

We sincerely apologize that your arrival experience did not meet your expectations. We understand how stressful it is to arrive in a new destination and not have your transportation waiting. To clarify what occurred, as soon as we received your reservation we notified Viator that Ian Fleming Airport was outside the service area covered by the advertised rate. Because of the additional distance, we advised that the transfer could only be completed with a rate adjustment. A notification regarding the revised rate was sent prior to your arrival; however, we never received a response or acceptance of the updated pricing. Without confirmation of the revised fare, we were unable to confirm the reservation or dispatch a driver. Once it became clear the reservation could not be fulfilled, Viator processed a full refund. We understand this situation was frustrating, and we regret that the communication between the booking platform and the reservation process did not result in a clearer resolution before your travel date. While we respectfully disagree that Luxury Star Travels simply failed to show up, we do understand why the experience was disappointing from your perspective. We appreciate your feedback and wish you and your family the very best.

When you arrived at our airport desk, our concierge agent was temporarily assisting another group of travelers, which unfortunately delayed your greeting. Additionally, the vehicle originally assigned to your reservation was unexpectedly delayed due to a traffic accident. As soon as we were made aware of the situation, we immediately dispatched another luxury vehicle that had just completed an airport departure transfer to minimize any further delay. Because of the last-minute vehicle reassignment, the complimentary refreshments that are normally stocked in the originally assigned vehicle were not available at pickup. We sincerely apologize for that inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding. While this was an isolated operational issue caused by unforeseen circumstances, we continually strive to provide the high level of luxury service our guests expect and deserve. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with the full Luxury Star Travels experience on a future visit to Jamaica.

Highly Recommended!!! A few days before leaving we received a text from Steve (SO polite and professional) that he was our main contact and discussed our travel. Upon arriving Steve guided us where to meet Marvin (which is fantastic). Marvin picked us up on a Mercedes Sprinter (Awesome) and was so kind and respectful. Made a couple stops to pick up a few things we wanted for our trip. Never made us feel rushed and only wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience. When leaving Kemar picked us up at our hotel in a Cadillac Escalade (Awesome too) and drove us back to the airport discussing the culture of Jamaica and answering all of our questions. Kemar is very professional and kind. I HIGHLY recommend. STEVE, MARVIN, KEMAR, you all are true professionals and we couldn’t be happier.what’s wonderful experience.

Had to pay for the trip cost to Ocho Rios even though we were only going to Runaway Bay (30 min outside Ocho Rios)….wish the charge was prorated based on distance.
