Ok but not what we purchased

Ok but not as advertised. We wanted a 3hr boat trip but this only moved for 90 mins. We stopped for snorkelling and at some kind of famous bar, neither of which we wanted or were advertised If we’d known we would have looked at something else. Was ok if you’re looking for that but not what we purchased and I suspect they combined multiple half filled trips

Horrible weather

Horrible… the weather was bad and tour ended. There was lightning and storms. Could not get up to dock to get off. Had to walk through the water to exit.

Buyer beware Margaritaville is closed for repairs

The catamaran was fun the DJ played great music and we did lots of dancing on the Red Locks vessel. I’ve been on this type of sunset cruise before and was surprised to see where we stopped for those who wanted to snorkel. It was then that we learned we would not be able to get off at Margaritavillle for food, drinks or souvenir shopping. The entire reason we booked this excursion is because it offered something for everyone. We paid $110/pp for alcohol and snacks (which are unlimited at our all inclusive resort) and for snorkeling. Had we been advised Margaritaville was closed in advance (which we were not) I would have certainly expected the excursion to be at a reduced price. I also would have appreciated knowing ahead of time so we choose another adventure. We made the most of a disappointing situation and Margaritaville isn’t set to reopen for months. I’d recommend you contact the tour operator to see exactly what is included because the written description is outdated and explicitly states that Marsgaritaville is an included stop. All we did was drive the boat around the building to look close up at repairs………..

Worse experience

We booked the sunset cruise weeks before coming and six days before our trip they told where to meet the driver outside our front lobby. The day of the trip I had to call after waiting over thirty minutes for the driver and the lady proceeds to tell us he will be there in 10 mins so we waited and another 40 mins passed so I called again then this time the same lady who told me he would be there in 10 mins proceeded to say they can not reach the driver and has no idea where he is so we did not get to do this boat tour at all.

Don't wear expensive shoes on a catamaran Cruise

I don’t have anything to say about the actual cruise because our driver never showed up to pick us up. We were in the lobby at 2:35 which was the time we were given by our tour guide. We waited in the lobby until 3:15. I messaged our tour guide and got no response.

One of a kind adventure

Comrade among crew and guests. The atmosphere was vibrant and surreal. The view was breathtaking and although it was raining it. added more vibe to the event. The food was sumptuous and appropriate for the occasion. The music was out of this world and the DJ knows his music.

Packed on a Slave Ship

First of all Viator was not my booking method of preference; however, my clients were unable to book directly through Island Routes so here we are. All 19 booked but not all 19 had Viator accounts, when directed to set up an account to finish their booking they were redirected to Viator's mobile account and therefore removed from my Travel Agent Link so out of 19 bookings my agency was only credited with 10 and they refuse to acknowledge the other 9 even though I have given them all names, booking numbers and we were all picked up from the same location at the same time on the same date and booked around the same time from the same IP address. Yes, I have escalated the matter. At any rate, I contact Island Routes directly to confirm that my entire group is actually booked since I only received confirmation for 10. Viator's drivers arrived and my group is separated into 3 vehicles as they don't have vehicles large enough to accommodate everyone they are picking up. 1 of the vehicles have to make an additional stop to pick up more people from a different resort. We arrive at the dock and of course I wait for my entire group. The catamaran arrives and to our surprise it is full of people. The person in front of me was like move to the side so these people can get off. LOL. We join them and there is standing room only. This boat was packed like a slave ship. Ok I'm being a little dramatic here. But seriously, only about 5 people were able to be seated. This was the most oversold excursion I have ever taken my clients on and I do a "booze' cruise for all my experiences. So now lets get to the cruise itself. Staff the worst. Bartender just unfriendly. Captain evil. Extras no service or entertainment, one girl came out to dance on the way back. DJ boring and rude but we will come back to him. Finger Food - Decent But Cold not even room temp. Liquor was premium probably the best part. Margaritaville Stop - Useless nothing like Rick Cafe's. So most of my group stayed on the boat and my group leader went and had a conversation with the DJ about what type of music to play. So the boat was lit going back with Jamaican Jamz, Hip Hop Hitz, and some Slides. Not a true Sunset but what occurred was nice. We made the best of a bad situation. I do not recommend especially at the price point. I would not book again. And I definitely wouldn't use Viator as a booking source. I will contact Island Routes directly for maybe adjusting how they do this sail.

When the boat arrived it was already full. We boarded and some people had to stand. Food not good. Music was sub and Margaritaville was dead with slow music. Luther Vandross was playing. Too much money for this many people onboard. #moneygrab

The round trip pick up & drop off was seamless even though I could of walked being that the port was very close to my hotel. The ship was nice a lil crowded but still comfortable. My only complaint was stopping at margaritaville for 1 hour. When we arrived there, margaritaville was already packed! We just added more people! Being that is was so busy only take out orders no dine in..so basically for 1 I was bored just waiting to depart back. My suggestion will be to stay at margaritaville for at least 2 hours so that we can fully experience everything

Completely inaccurate description

Nothing was memorable besides how incorrect all of the information about the trip was online. We were told we would be picked up at 2:15. I had to turn on my cellular and call to find out the time was wrong and it was a 2:45 pickup. We got to the dock and had to wait for other buses and we didn’t depart until 4:00 (online it says 3:00 so we lost an hour of time on the water). This was not a reggae cruise, it was a spring break club. Extremely loud music and barely any space because there were so many people. I actually spoke to Viator ahead of time to confirm it was a relaxing cruise as I was taking my elderly mother. They said yes; however the video I have of the boat and the almost strip show at Margaritaville show a different story. I sent my videos to Viator and the rest of the details and I was informed I would not get a refund because I went on the trip. Awful experience- don’t waste your money.

I was disappointed with Viator. I purchased my husband's tickets. When the driver arrived he was not on the list. It took 15 minutes for the driver to finally get the ok. His name did not appear on the list until we were getting on the boat. It was embarrassing, and an inconvenience!
