What To Expect
First, enjoy a seamless pickup from your hotel. From your departure point, get settled onto your handcrafted bamboo raft and start gliding down the Great River.
Sample a variety of delicious fruits along your journey, then enjoy a relaxing limestone foot massage. If you're feeling fancy, take the opportunity to upgrade to a full-body massage.
After experiencing the power of local herbs and Jamaican culture, continue to float along the water. Then, discover some local treats when you try some jelly coconut and sugarcane. Finally, stop at an eatery to indulge in the tantalizing flavors of the local cuisine.
As your adventure comes to an end, relax during the transfer back to your accommodation.

From start to finish, this bamboo rafting tour was incredible. Our driver was amazing—super friendly and full of knowledge. He shared so much of Jamaica’s rich history during the ride, which made the journey even more special. Once we got to the river, our bamboo raft captain was an absolute vibe! Chill, fun, and made the whole experience relaxing and memorable. Highly recommend this tour if you want a mix of culture, nature, and good vibes!

Nice but too short for the cost. Took a longer time to get there than the actual time spent on the raft. You probably on the raft 30 mins. Not a lot to see either. No culture value but the people were kind and friendly.

The pickup and drop off was smooth. Our captain Pearson was AMAZING he did an awesome job welcoming us with the vibes and keeping us entertained! I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering doing the bamboo rafting! The limestone massage was relaxing and he made sure we were comfortable. Great experience overall.

Kemar was my guide during rafting and it was amazing !!!! He was very kind and even though i was alone on my raft he made me very comfortable and the experience was a 10/10. I would definitely recommend to friends and family if you ever go to raft get KEMAR !!!!!!!!!!

Everyone was friendly, pack lightly. There is no place for you to leave a bag. Bring cash to buy things along the river ride. We had an amazing time. The massage was awesome.

They gave great 5 star service from the driver get us to the excursion. The raft and limestone massage was amazing. Our captain did a great job at taking photos, gave us fresh pineapple and sugar cane. Our daughters Captain gave them a great experience as well. I will definitely book this excursion again on my next visit to Jamaica.

We loved this tour. It was our anniversary on the day and this tour provided the privacy, relaxation and romantic vibe that we were looking for. We were even allowed to play our own music during the ride. It’s very scenic and personal

It was literally like 5 or less. I'm not even kidding. We were riding on the river for like 5 mins total. then we had to get off.
They said because of the rain we can only go down the river in one direction. I said okay. No problem. We can't control the whether. But they didn't say that one direction was 5 mins total with life 45 mins of wait time. It took so long to drive there. Then they forced me to wait for other people on the tour even though they are on other rafts.
So we got on the rafts Rode for like 2 mins. Then those who wanted the mud Bath paid extra. And we had to wait for everyone to finish drying. Every. Single. Person. Then we went to the opposite side of the river like crossing the street. Waited some more. Then rode on the raft for like 2 more mins then we were let off. It took more time to get to the rafting then the rafting itself. Hated this. Don't waste your money.

I had an awesome experience from start to finish. Delano, my driver, was punctual, professional, warm and made the ride feel safe and comfortable, which was much appreciated. Pearson, my rafting tour guide, you can tell he loves what he does. He was filled with knowledge, friendly, and genuine. He made the experience relaxing, fun, and memorable. Not sure I laughed so much this trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting. Thank you, Delano and Pearson, for such a wonderful experience!

The worst I ever booked through Viator i never got this terrible experience before untill now still no help on my refund was supposed to get a partial refund and still nothing. The company this excursion is with is rude and no customer service just terrible.

I thought it would be actual rafting as the title says. We drove about 300m in total. 2min ride, then stop, without info on what we're doing. mostly waiting for other guests getting their massages or offering you a drink for 30.- USD. This is just a show off event and not really an enjoyable experience. Its a shame.

Based on your feedback, it seems our other option might be a better fit for you – the Bamboo Rafting Experience on the Martha Brae, which features a 75-minute raft ride down the river.
Regarding the duration and distance of your raft ride, we noticed discrepancies in your review. Our raft rides are carefully timed, and a 2-minute ride covering 300m doesn't align with our standard operations.
We are also wondering if you have posted your feedback to the wrong as alot of travelers think all tours offer via the website is the same operators.

Avoid booking this excursion with this group. we scheduled our time slot for 1pm, with a pick up time at our hotel for 12:30pm. The driver arrived to our hotel at 12:36pm and at that time we were told that we had to pick up two other guests at a different resort. We arrived at the resort to pick up the other two guests, and then were told that we were headed to the site. We then proceeded to drive around in the van for 2 hours, where we then picked up two additional guests located at another resort and waited another 20 mins for the rain to stop. We finally arrived at the excursion site at 3:00pm (2 hours AFTER our originally scheduled time). It was never communicated to us by the tour operators that we would not arrive for the time we scheduled. To make matters worse, the tour was cut short because the rain caused the river to rise which created a safety issue. If we had arrived at 1:00pm, we could have avoided the bad weather and had the experience we paid for. Instead, everything was rushed and cut short due to the drivers 2 hour delay. The tour operator refused to provide a refund stating that “we were picked up at 12:36pm, arrived at 3:00pm, and was returned to the hotel”, which completely disregards how late their driver was to picking us up and how that impacted the overall experience. We never scheduled to begin at 3:00pm. Book at your own risk.

Its strange that your group was the only group that reach the rafting location at 3:00pm and had to wait for the rain to stop to do the your activity despite been in a shuttle transport. Also strange that you didn't mention that the driver had to wait on other guest who was running late.
