We had such a great time on the bamboo raft! I can't wait to come back to Jamaica with all my family to do the rafts again. They played music, they made me & my husband feel very comfortable (he had a female to massage him).

Jay was our (captain) very nice young man..He was respectful, funny and very informative. Would recommend him and this excursion again. The vendors outside were a little pushy telling us we NEEDED water shoes...we didnt buy them and definitely didnt need them as we never left the raft. The limestone massage was amazing as well

A Unique Experience

Every bit of this was exciting and adventurous. We had an incredible driver, Mike who picked us up and dropped us off back at the port. I appreciate his patience with us after our son ended up wet despite all the planning for him not to be. Our rafter captains Joe and Luki (not sure of spelling) were great making sure we got several photos together despite being on two rafts. The limestone massage was well worth it. It was a perfect experience for all four of us.

Short raft trip

Although I expected it to be a little longer, it was nice and relaxing and a cute experience to go down the river for a little bit! Our guide was friendly and helpful as my mom had a bit of mobility issues but he helped her off and on the raft! The massage was nice, it was mostly just for the exfoliating and experience of having limestone on your legs. They had drinks and food for sale on the river as well as before you get on the raft. Overall it was cute and relaxing and if it was longer and the massage was a bit more intense I would do it again! I would give it a 7/10 🙂

As soon as you pull up...

As soon as you pull up you will be inundated with the locals trying to get you to buy water shoes and other items. The website tells you to bring a towel but says nothing about water shoes. I don’t even think we used the towels. The water is brown which can be a turnoff and the actual “ride” round trip is a quarter of a mile.

Good night Malissa I hope you had fun despite the few things that you weren’t comfortable with. The brown water was because of the rain we had a few days ago the water is normally very beautiful and crystal clear, however, water shoes are optional as you noticed you can go barefoot or wear your sandals on the raft, bringing towels is just to make sure you have something to dry yourself just in case you get wet as you will be getting in contact with water, also whenever it rains the raft captain don’t usually go far on the river because of safety reasons. I give this 10 stars the driver was great and friendly even though his car overheated and we had to sit in the road until he got water to cool it down. But he was very kind and polite. Our rafter was so far I can’t wait to go back

Driver - 15 min late to pick us up which was fine except for the fact that on the way home he was in a rush to pick up his next group of people and he would not let us stop for KFC, which was part of the description of this excursion and we were starving. Yet, upon arrival back at our resort, he was willing to wait for us to run up to our room to get cash to tip him. As far as the excursion itself, it was a really cool experience and the captain of our bamboo raft, J , was awesome. We had a lot of fun with him. However, from the minute we got there it felt like one upsell after another. I paid for 2 adults to enjoy the raft and limestone massages but once we got there, they said that my massage was paid for but because a woman would be massaging my boyfriend, we were required to tip her because she doesn’t get paid. The description overall just felt a bit misleading and we were met with a lot of unexpected additional fees for things that we were under the impression were covered in the initial price, considering the description said that it included them.

I apologise that you were dissatisfied because you did not got the chance to stop to get KFC, However the KFC stop was not mandatory it was optional and your driver did not have enough time to stop because he was on a schedule. I'm also sorry that the driver was 15 minutes late it was due to traffic which was unforeseen and beyond the driver control, please outline what other additional fees you were met with apart from tipping the lady that did the massage? the tip that was given to the driver was not required. EVERY TIP IS an optional gratuity.. Besides the few dissatisfaction you had I'm glad you enjoyed the tour and had a lot of fun as you stated...Thanks again for your support.

I had an amazing Bamboo Rafting with Limestone Massage experience! From the very beginning, Michael made my birthday extra special by decorating his car with balloons when he picked me up. He gave clear instructions on what to expect and we had a great conversation about his beautiful island, Jamaica, along the way. The rafting itself was incredible; relaxing, fun and truly memorable. I highly recommend upgrading to the full-body Limestone Massage, it’s absolutely worth the difference. The rafts were beautifully decorated and they even have special birthday rafts that make the experience extra festive. A big shoutout to Jay, my raft captain, who was not only skilled but kept me entertained the whole time. All of the captains were friendly, funny and welcoming, which added so much to the atmosphere. To top it off, I forgot my bottle of rum punch that I purchased at the excursion and Michael kindly brought it back to me later such thoughtful service! Overall, it was a wonderful, personalized experience that I’ll remember with fondness. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Montego Bay Jamaica!

Definitely recommend! Communication was great, driver was punctual, tour guide Jay was very knowledgeable & respectful. We chose to do this excursion on our last full vacation day & so glad we did! It was relaxing & was an amazing experience. The commute consisted of a lot of fast twists & turns so beware if you had too much to drink the night before. They have fruit & alcohol for sale, remember to bring cash to tip the tour guide. 10/10

Jay was amazing, laid back, customer service oriented, funny and very hospitable. The tour was great and I would highly recommend it. We booked out own transportation, the taxi driver was able to call the tour guide and set up the exact location where to drop us off. It was a very smooth transaction.
