He did not talk to us at all. He dropped us off and then left and when we asked him to come back he wasn’t there. Had to call him and he said he would come back and we waited over 30min for him to come back.

We were taken to 1 shop told to take our time which took about 15 mins then driven back to the hotel

If I can give 0 stars I would. My driver was Dantay and he didn’t even take us to the strip. He wasted our time and took us to a small shop down the rode of my resort!!! He act confused when i told him to go to the strip. The customer service of the company was nice but DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Not worth it at all. The company needs to change their drivers.

We enjoyed going shopping! Our driver was ok. He didn’t really talk much or give us much feedback on what/where to go! I had seen another person said they went to margaritaville so we asked to go there when done shopping! The food and atmosphere was amazing!

Mr. Bailey is amazing! He showed up at our resort, on time & called to let us know he arrived. He's very accommodating! Took us to a very large shopping store with every souvenir you could think of, jewelry, alcohol, cigars, clothing, etc. While driving to the store, he provided information about every street, beach, restaurants and sound areas! Mr. Bailey was our "body guard", waiting for us at the front of each store until we were done shopping-the locations seemed safe enough though we appreciated the attention! The store provided a drink & samples of rum while we shopped-everyone was very welcoming!
I read the reviews about the drivers & Mr. Bailey had rave reviews...the reviews did not exaggerate.
After shopping, Mr Bailey drove us through downtown Montego Bay.... he's a wealth of information! You can't go wrong by requesting him as your driver.... you'll be glad you did!!! 🙂

The Montego Bay Private Shopping Tour was amazing. There were multiple places to shop with great selections of items to choose from. The driver’s name was Bailey and he was very friendly and knowledgable about the areas that my family and I were visiting. Bailey waited for us near by and made sure that we were safe and satisfied.

Eh. I’d skip this experience. We were excited to explore local shops and grab some authentic Jamaican food. Unfortunately our driver funneled us into 2 shops in which he “recommended” but it was clear he had a deal set up. He then took us to a restaurant. After this he was ready to take us back to the hotel. We asked to make more stops however he told us he had to get to the airport to pick up another family (despite it still being within our 2-3 hour appointment time). The driver did not provide any conversation or commentary, just music. Honestly we could have taken Uber and got a better experience.
I did give 2 stars because they were on-time for pick-up and the car was clean.

We are very sorry about your bad experience. But the driver knows about all the shops on the hipstrip so if he recommend those shops that's mean they are the best shops and the cheapest shop on the block. Shopping tour is 2 hours and you were long over 2 hours. He even make stop for you to have lunch even though that is not included in the Shopping experience. You rather he left the guest to wait at the airport so he could drive you around the city and you know it was just a Shopping tour and not a sightseeing tour, And the time we said you will get you did get it and more. These guests were no family they was regular guests like you.. But once again we are very sorry about everything and we hope we can provide you with better service next time. Once love ❤🙏
Definitely not worth the price. Really just paid for the taxi service there and back. Tour guide just sat and talked on his phone while we shopped at a few stores.

If you where to pay for a taxi service it would be more expensive. Remember you where staying at Grand Palladium and that's about 1 hour from the hipstrip shopping mall. Also if you were to take a taxi they would not change the time. Your pickup time was 10am and you beg us to change it to 1pm. We have to rearrange our schedule just to make sure we could accommodate you. Remember this is a shopping experience and not a excursion. Once again thank you for booking with us. One love 🙏❤
Bailey was wonderful! Very patient and informative. He took us to good areas and acted as our bodyguard. He deserves a raise.

The “personalized shopping trip” started off ok. We got picked up on time from our hotel, and the driver was very nice. We told him we wanted to go to nice shopping in Montego Bay. Stuff like the hip strip and the “luxury shopping” (name of the center) area. He told us he would take us to an area where we wouldn’t get hassled and that had the best prices. He took us to three small stores that he obviously has deals with to bring people to. They seemed to even be owned by the same people. He even took us back to one to pick up his cut of the money we spent. When we asked to go to other areas he said they weren’t good for tourists but as we drove by those places we saw nothing but tourists. I think the best way to get some shopping done is to find an excursion that throws in a bit of shopping time mixed in with another activity.

The three shops that the driver takes you is the cheapest shop on the hipstrip. The ones that he said is not good for tourists is the shops that once you get inside the owners is going to force you to buy things eventhough you said you don't see anything that you like and the driver don't want you to feel comfortable. The driver said he when back to the store to buy a Jamaica shirt for his son because the price was reasonable. The next day was his son Jamaica day at school so he when to get a shirt for him. Sometimes the driver is doing the best for you because they have to keep all the guest safe in the best way they can. Remember they know about Jamaica. But we are very sorry about everything. Bailey our driver was fantastic. Right on time, great conversation on the way to the hip street. Got us to a store with great souvenirs and Starbucks so we could get Jamaica mugs. The store he took us to gave us half off the prices so it was a good deal!

This provider is awesome. Unbeknownst to us, the two excursions we booked for this day were both through them so rather than have to come back to hotel in between as we thought we would, they combined them together and we stayed with same guide whole time. Bailey was our guide and he was super fun! He made sure we saw everything we wanted, learned a bunch about Jamaica, and kept us entertained.

Driver did not show up. I first sent a message to the tour service and did not receive a response. I then called and was told to look for the name of the business on the vehicle and then was hung up on before I could respond to let them know no one had arrived. I then called a second and third time with no answer. After 30-40 minutes after my pick up time, the resort provided the service because the driver did not show up. I am contacting my bank to dispute all charges because the service was not provided as scheduled.

You book a last minute reservation with us but we weren't aware of the reservation until you called us. Sometimes when you book a last minute reservation the email takes awhile to comes in. But what you should do is send us a request refund we will be happily given your money back. We are very sorry about everything, very sorry. Once love ❤🙏
This was a awesome shopping trip. The driver in which I can't pronounce his name was a friendly and very patient. We took as long as we wanted. He never rushed us. It's more of a personal experience when it's just family.

It was okay, there weren't many shopping stops, but Alvin was very accommodating as we wanted to go to Island Strains (the dispensary) and to Scotchies for Jerk Chicken (but, I discovered the jerk pork is the REAL star). Our little $60 tour gave what it had to give, I guess. I think it would've been better if some time at the Park Beach were included as part of the tour... it looks really beautiful.

Our guide took us to great shops and even found a special shop that had unique Knick knacks. I requested a place that didn’t have what everyone else had and he knew exactly where to go. He stayed with us and escorted us through everything. Very nice.

We were harrassed by the locals. There was only one shop we were taken to and we felt like we were getting hussled.

Only took us to ONE store and that was the store HE wanted us to go to. He didn't want to stop at another store and when we tried to get something to eat he said it would take too long. When asked Viator for a refund. It was denied.

The driver takes you to do shopping you and the other guy said you only need condoms and cigarettes. When the driver ask you if you want to go to Pelican or Scotches to have lunch you said you don't want to go you guys are ok. He must take you back to the Apartment. Went to one shop that was very expensive and was told that was the cheapest shop on the strip so we just headed back to hotel.

The driver was good Please don't think this is the drivers fault
We tailor made the trip to go to witther Village. Which was a waste of time. We then went to scotchies for lunch which was good.
The viator agent hadn't passed our trip itinerary to the driver which was annoying as he thought he was taking us to the hip strip. Not his fault.

This shopping tour that you book is for the hipstrip. So when the driver takes you to the hipstrip he wasn't wrong. You told the driver that you book a shopping tour to Whitter Village which was a lie. There's no part on the tour itinerary says anything about Whitter Village because Whitter Village is located in Ironshore that's a different shopping area and it cost more money than what you pay. You also told the driver that someone recommended you to Whitter Village. So it's not our fault you make the driver takes you to Whitter Village and you did not receive a good service there. Driver was really nice. But maybe more than one shop so I can compare prices. The “top shelf” Blackwell Jamaican rum I bought for “half price” for $50 is more medium- shelf and sales for $22-25 in the US. I spent more than I wanted in there.

Maybe the reason why the driver takes you to one shop was because you used a cane and it was very difficult for you to get into the bus when he comes to pick you up at the Resort. Our driver took us to several different souvenir shops and also to Jucies Patties. He offered to take us to more shops if we wanted but we were done. The entire trip was about 2 1/2 hours and we never felt rushed. It was 20 a person from Riu Montego Bay, so very good price.
