Absolutely wonderful tour, our guides were the most kind wonderful and thoughtful! We went river rafting and to the waterfalls, are hosts also took wonderful professional photos of us with a camera!

The excursion itself was great. However, we were asked for more money saying we didn't book the right pick up location when we clearly did. It was clearly stated on the application. Our driver was great and I would recommend him to everyone however, no fault of his, we were gone all day. Almost 8 hours. The excursion said 3 to 4 hours. We had no clue that it was 2 Hour drive to get there.

Thanks for booking with us and taking the time to leave a review. I have messaged privately explaining both before and after the excursion why there is an additional charge. This tour collects guest all over and we have four price options for guests to select when booking depending on the area we need to pick up from. The activity is in Ocho Rios and your hotel was in Montego bay an estimated 1 hour 45 minutes away. On the Montego bay selection it clearly states to add an additional 3 to 4 hours of journey time on top of the original 3 to 4 hours for guests that far away. To simplify, if you booked a taxi surely you would expect to pay more the further you needed to travel right?
Not only did we explain all this to you we also offered you an massive discount off the price for the error you made when booking. You paid an additional 90 usd total to have a driver pick you up and return you to Montego bay a 3 to 4 hour return journey. If you were to attempt to book a transfer like this it would cost between 240 to 300 usd. We went above and beyond to assist you and we made every effort to help you understand this.
Omar tours jamaica is a very small family run business and making unnecessarily bad reviews is extremely damaging to our reputation and our ability to recieve furher bookings.
We truly are happy you had a great day with our driver and implore you to please read the information on the tour carefully while booking in future to avoid these kind of issues.

I booked the Blue Hole and Bamboo Rafting tour with Omar Tours Jamaica after finding them on Viator. Since the cruise line didn’t offer bamboo rafting, I decided to book with Omar based on the great reviews, and I’m glad I did!
Communication was excellent from start to finish. I received confirmation through Viator and WhatsApp, which made everything easy while on the cruise. They were waiting for us right at the port, so there was no need to venture away looking for transportation.
Our driver and host were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The air-conditioned van was comfortable, and we felt safe traveling with other cruise passengers. The Blue Hole was amazing, and the team made sure we were connected with trusted guides at every stop. During bamboo rafting, they stayed with our belongings and kept everything secure in the van.
They even stopped for delicious local Jamaican food and made sure we returned to the port with plenty of time before departure. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would definitely book with Omar Tours Jamaica again!

This was amazing! The whole day was incredible. Our tour guide PJ, was the best. As we drove between locations he told us facts/knowledge about the area. We had a good amount of time at each activity. PJ then took us to Linda’s to have some authentic Jamaican food and to the Taj Mahall for shopping, which was a nice touch to the trip. Could not fault anything. For the price you pay, it is so worth everything and more.

A must do if you are in Jamaica. Omar Tours has great communication and is reliable. They care of you from beginning to the end. Our tour guide and driver Ray was not only a very safe driver, he was knowledgeable of the landmarks along the way. The Blue Hole was beautiful and jumping in the falls is a one in a lifetime experience. The bamboo raft ride was very secure and safe. We opted to add the horseback ride at the end and it was an excellent choice to end our day. We rode the horses on the beach which was just therapeutic and peaceful. if you're adventurous and wanting to see some breathtaking scenery this is the tour for you. Will definitely book with Omar Tours when we are back in MoBay.

I enjoyed parts of this experience, especially having Ray as our tour guide—he did a great job keeping the group informed and engaged. The bamboo rafting was relaxing and mostly pleasant, making it one of the highlights of the trip.
The Blue Hole portion, however, isn’t for everyone. I chose to skip it due to the potential risk of injury. It requires good balance on wet, slippery rocks, the ability to follow directions carefully, and proper footwear like water shoes. The staff did assist with crossings and provided guidance for jumping the cascades, which was reassuring, but it can still feel challenging.
Since I opted out, I had to wait for the group and guide while they completed that portion before we could all enjoy the water at the end.
I also appreciated the stop at the Taj Mahal shopping center—it offered a great selection of food, drinks, and souvenirs.
Overall, I would recommend this tour if you’re comfortable with some level of risk or are okay skipping certain parts of the experience.

I loved my experience with my driver and tour guide Ray he was amazing and very informative, also a real funny guy to hang out with for the day! My tour guide for Blue Hole was Lando he was so caring and inspiring. My tour guide for rafting was Andre and he treated us so well and kept us entertained! All in all, great experience.

This tour was absolutely beautiful. If you are arriving on a cruise ship and only have a few hours in port, this is definitely something you can do.
They pick you up right at the cruise terminal and take you to the Blue Hole, which is an incredible and breathtaking place. The guides help you and lead you while climbing up the river, making us feel very confident and safe while jumping into the different river pools. It was an amazing experience.
After that, they take you to do bamboo rafting on the Rio Nuevo River. The river is beautiful. The rafting route is a bit short, but the experience is still very enjoyable. The guides are very friendly and even take great photos for you.
The only thing I didn’t like about the tour were a few stops at a shopping center and a restaurant. Those stops added about an extra hour and a half, which for me felt unnecessary.
Overall, I definitely recommend visiting these wonderful places.

Make sure your foot is solid on the rock before taking another step. Same with on the bamboo raft. Can be slippery.

Omar Tours was amazing! Both drivers were very kind and shared many insights over the beautiful island of Jamaica. We were picked up from our resort, dropped off at our bamboo rafting excursion and then again at the blue hole and gulley falls. The transportation was clean and accommodating!

Blue Hole was beautiful and definitely worth the money. Bamboo rafting felt a bit like a tourist trap as we traveled about 50ft before looping back to the start. Add-on limestone massage was minimum $40 for feet/lower legs and $80 for full-body. Probably not worth your time if you don't plan to do the massage.

we had a great time, definitely would do it again, we had an individual tour, they took care of us well, hour we had in blue hole was definitely enough we jumped a lot, our guide was great and was an amazing photographer. He was recording videos of us jumping and taking pictures of the views. Rafting was also a great experience, our captain wouldnt let us just sit he took care of the great atmosphere and music, we were dancing all the time

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had!! First time traveling solo and I was a little nervous booking bc it was outside of carnival excursions but baby they DID NOT disappoint!! The blue hole was so fun and the bamboo rafting PERFECTO!!! The line massage made my skin feel so good!! I will always use RAY and O’Brian(OB) for my activities when I come to Jamaica!!! Omar Tours is really the best and they are cruise friendly!! They made sure I enjoyed myself and got back to my ship on time! They made my first experience unforgettable so I’ll definitely be back!!

We booked and were excited about our excursion to Ocho Rios and the Blue Hole, in Jamaica. However, the night before our cruise ported in Montego Bay, we received an email, canceling our excursion. The local Viator "partner" said the reason for the cancelation was that they hadn't charged us enough to come all the way to Montego Bay to pick us up. Needless to say, we didn't have time to research and book another excursion. A very disappointing experience, even though Viator did make sure we received a full refund.

Unfortunately your review is not accurate and discredits an excellent tour company. The tour has two price options one for a Montego bay pick up which is over two hours journey to the blue hole in morning traffic and another for Ocho rios pick ups which is only 20 minutes away. This was explained to you that we do not have the Montego bay "port" currently as an option, only hotels because it is not possible to do both blue hole and bamboo rafting then make it back to "port" on time for ships on short stops. In addition we could not possibly charge the same price as guests in Ocho Rios to drive 2 hours to collect you and return you to Montego. Thats 7 to 8 hours worth of driving plus touring time on top to tour you for the day.
This is a very unfair review on our tour and should be removed. We are sorry you didnt get to do the tour on this occasion but your reason has no grounds to give a one star on our tour. It was also myself that ensured you got a full refund promptly. Your review is very damaging to a small business and is completely inaccurate.

We truly had the time of our lives with our tour guide Ray. He showed us the most breathtaking views and hidden gems on our way to the Blue Hole and River Rafting, he treated us so well that we didn’t want the experience to end!!!!! Because of how amazing our first tour was, we ended up booking a trip to the Bob Marley Museum in Nine Mile and it was just as beautiful and unforgettable. Ray went above and beyond in every possible way to make sure we experienced the very best of Jamaica. His knowledge, kindness, and genuine passion made our trip incredibly special.
If you’re visiting Jamaica, Ray is the guide you need. He made sure our vacation was one we’ll remember forever.

Such a great experience with my partner! We had such a fun time, the people at blue hole were great as well as at the bamboo raft spot. Captain o Brien had all the vibes. Most of all our tour guide for the tour, Ray was so awesome and provided so much history along the journey which just added to the trip. Would absolutely tour with them again!

Blue Hole was beautiful, although a bit more adventurous than we expected. But the guide was very good about directing us and lending a hand thru the more difficult areas. Rafting ride was more laid back, and the guides work so hard! Ours played music and sang and danced which made it so much more fun!

Was ok. Not the blue hole...a blue hole. The raft was listing bad to one side. Needs to be rebuilt. I was ask to trade with wife to help balance....helped some. River was dirty. Should have booked trip down white river instead of rio nuevo

Firstly, our tour only goes to the blue hole. The blue hole has three series of waterfalls all at the same place.
We take our guests to the top of the series called the blue hole island gully falls so they get the safest and best experience. Please also understand all rivers in its natural state in the Ocho Rios area are clear and beautiful. What you experienced was the effects of rainfall in the mountains. This impacts the colour of the river and washes rubble down stream. This usually clears in a day or two and staff then work to clear the banks. Please understand this is just nature and happens to any of our rivers on a given day. We as a tour company provide a great service to our customers and are very sad to see a bad review for something out of our control.

Our experience with Omar Jamaica Tours was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! We were a group of 8, and Ray went above and beyond to make sure every single one of us was comfortable, safe, and having the time of our lives. We visited the Blue Hole in Ocho Rios and did the Bamboo Raft tour, and it was nothing short of magical. Ray truly looked out for us the entire time. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring.
As if that wasn’t enough, his brother Omar also took incredible care of us, showing us around and making us feel like family. He was gracious enough to take us to KFC (a must in Jamaica!) and even to a hookah lounge where we could relax and hang out. It was the perfect balance of adventure and chill vibes.
This tour felt personal, fun, and perfectly curated for our group. If you’re looking for a tour company that treats you like more than just a booking, Omar Jamaica Tours is the one. We can’t recommend them enough; truly an amazing experience we’ll never forget! 🌴🇯🇲

This was a great activity. The tour guide was very fun and informative. Be sure to bring cash as the establishments do not accept cards. You will be offered the opportunity to buy photos, drinks and snacks! You will also want to tip the guides. We enjoyed this tour and would recommend it.

Incredible experience! This was a really fun excursion - both getting to see blue hole and also the rafting experience. The climb and jumping at blue hole was a bit daunting for some of the less sure footed in our party, but the guides were very helpful in steadying us and helping us cross and feel safe. The kids had a blast jumping into the water, and they took so many fun photos of our family.
Our driver/guide was so friendly, informative and accommodating to a million questions. The van was pleasantly spacious, new, and air conditioned!
We got to top off the end of the tour with some cocktails at a gift shop, so there was something for everyone. Would book again!

We had an absolutely amazing time! Ray went above and beyond as our driver. He was so friendly and super knowledgable, Our guides Sam at the Blue Hole and Andre at bamboo rafting were great. We felt safe the whole time. We highly recommend Omar Tours and can’t wait to come back!
