Last minute booking thru Nickoy and had a wonderful day with J our guide. We visited Rose Hall, had a great stop for some blue mountain coffee and even had time for doctors cave/hip strip. J was great company and a wonderful ambassador for Jamaica! Highly recommended.

We had an excellent time with Nickoy. He was the best. Very knowledgeable, kind and knew exactly where we wanted to go. He showed us places that we’ve never seen before. He even brought us to his hometown. It was lovely and I would highly recommend him to everyone.

We woke this morning with the news our Ship could not dock at Montego Bay and was going to Falmouth Port instead. This was such a disappointment however I contacted Nikoy who rearranged things and picked us up anyway, some 30” from our original meeting point. We agreed to take another couple who were left without a Tour and had a great few hours, seeing everything Montego Bay had to offer. Thank you Nikoy for a great tour and for showing us your beautiful home country of Jamaica 🇯🇲. Yeh man 😉

We canceled our scheduled short excursion from the cruise ship because the buses that were taking passengers could not accommodate a walker. The private tour with Niko Lumbly I love us too keep the walker without worrying about its storage and give us the opportunity to see several of the up the hill neighborhoods were ordinary, Montego Indians live. Nick couldn’t have been more friendly and informative, and we finished up our three hour tour at one of his favorite restaurants were seemed to be the only tourists and enjoyed food that was good, and the view of the bay was fine. The gift shop we stopped at was designed for people who love to bargain and deal with obnoxious high pressure “helpers” in the store. Viator is lucky to have someone like new Koi available to show people around.

Learning about the real MoBay

Koi was very knowledgeable about the city and didn’t hesitate to take us around the tourist and non-tourist locations to interact with the wonderful people of this island. His relationships with folks eased us in regards to safety and he introduced us to elders in the community who shared a bit about life here in MoBay. This authenticity was something I was craving and I’m happy to say Koi provided for us. He also taught us patois and I left the experience feeling a bit more connected. I would recommend booking specifically with him. His energy and vibe was amazing! Thanks Koi!

This experience had very good reviews, so I anticipated being given a tour that I enjoyed; however, Nickoy exceeded my expectations. He is both professional and courteous, and his prices are reasonable. Having spent his life in Montego Bay, it is obvious, by his demeanor, that he genuinely enjoys sharing his city with others. Initially, I planned to go alone, and I was pleased to see that the price for a solo traveler was half the price for two, as such is not the case for many, if not most, Viator experiences. My friend decided to join me, so we each paid the advertised price, which we both deemed very reasonable. Nickoy would have happily accommodated our requests to visit specific destinations, but we allowed him to plan our time, and we couldn't have been more pleased. After three hours together, I feel as though we came away with a true sense of the culture and cuisine of Montego Bay. We saw interesting sites and beautiful views, and enjoyed a yummy lunch at a local restaurant. I have recommended Nickoy to others on our cruise ship who spend time in Jamaica, and I hope to return, so that I may reserve his time and see more of Saint James Parish and other parishes.

I corresponded with Nickoy and Goodlifetours for about a month prior to my actual trip. All my questions were answered promptly. I put together a customized tour for 3 1/2 hours providing him with the places I wanted to see while Montego Bay. He was able to meet all of my needs. The day the actual tour he was unexpectedly unavailable, and he sent an associate of his J in his place. J was wonderful and very attentive to our needs and met all of the agenda previously set with Nickoy. At the end of the tour, we budgeted time to make a stop at an excellent souvenir gift store. We were able to purchase rum for 25% less, Coffee about 45% less and T-shirts about 65% less than what we would have paid at the resort we were staying at. I would recommend working with these two gentlemen, as it was definitely a good deal.

Highly Informative and interesting tour of Mobay that included Rose Hall tour, exploration of different neighborhoods, overview of Jamaican history, and a bit of souvenir shopping. I booked the tour at the last minute when another tour fell through. Nickody personally ensured that I had an excellent tour. His love for and knowledge of Jamaican history and culture was readily apparent and the tour time just flew by. If you are in Mobay, take this highly recommended tour- you will definitely enjoy it!

Nickoy is your guy for a tour around Montego Bay, and the go to guy for taxi cab services. Nickoy is very reliable, professional, diplomatic, friendly and trustworthy. Have no fear of being scammed or harmed when requesting his services. Nickoy is native to the region, therefore there is no better person to show you what Jamaica is actually is. He knows all the good/safe shops, places etc. wish we would have hired Nickoy two days earlier, because we have been disappointed with other taxi drivers. We took Nickoys phone number to be able to contact him directly for any and all cab services or round tours.

Our private tour was perfect for us. We wanted to learn local culture and see day to day life. We were able to see how all family homes vary due to the household income and resources across this area. We saw many markets for fresh food and local souvenirs. We visited Sam Sharpe Square and St. James Parish Church. We enjoyed lunch at The Pork Pit. We journeyed up the twists and turns to capture photos of our Cruise Ship in the port and see all the beautiful views. Our family was asked every step of the way what we wanted to see and do. This tour is very accommodating and we felt fortunate to have our own local expert to escort us through this wonderful port!!

We booked this tour for a chill excursion on my birthday. The reviews and also word of mouth from our fellow AirBNB guests did not do Nikoy's tour justice. Nikoy arrived 10 minutes early to pick up time which just speaks to his professionalism. He had a bday remix prepared for our car ride and took us on an authentic tour of various communities in and around Montego Bay. Nikoys own personal anecdotes about each stop really made us feel like we were just traveling with a friend who happened to be a local. He was able to weave history throughout his tour and took us to rare views. My personal favorite was when he showed us a 200 year old sugar mill that was used during plantation times. Nikoy also made it a priority that we chose when and what we wanted to do. ''Do you guys wanna go to Doctor's Cave or the Pork Pit first?". These personal touches and attention to our experience really set him apart. Also, his price for the lengthy tour, transportation, and added stops just does not compare! We wish we knew about him sooner and are looking forward to our next excursion with him <3

A Great Day In Mo Bay

We had a wonderful day with Nekoi! He arrived right on time for pick up. He was patient and helpful with our group of six for the entire day. Nekoi provided the history of Jamaica, toured us through several communities, showed us the best places to eat, to play and enjoy the beauty of Montego Bay. We were able to see all the highlights of Montego Bay and ended our day with a delicious lunch at the Pork Pit. He even made sure we could stop by the supermarket for essentials before returning home. Nekoi was a phenomenal tour guide who we would recommend to anyone for the Montego Bay Tour.

Nickoy was the best driver for the day, our only regret is that we didn't meet him sooner in the holiday! He completely customised the tour to what we wanted and he went above and beyond the whole time! The whole day was really relaxed and Nickoy allowed us all the time we wanted at each place, there was no rushing, we felt safe the whole time and Nickoy's recommendations throughout the day were great! Our guide Nickoy was excellent. There was some miscommunication with time. I was told they open at 2pm by Viator representative. He reached out first thing in the morning and we decided on time that was good for my group. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable of the island. He showed us so much I can’t repeat everything. He took us to a restaurant where afterwards we felt that was the best meal we had being on vacation that week. We stopped at a store to purchase gifts as well. honestly don’t feel was a bargain but we purchased anyway. And just to mention for lunch I had oxtails n peas n rice delicious. We were a group of 10 but only 6 of us went on the tour. We made it work. And our guide was very thankful because his vechicle just held us again we made it work. We are very pleased we had decided to go on this tour. He made sure we were comfortable and we returned safely to our resort. I definitely recommend him. I hope I’m not saying his name wrong he’s in my contacts as King Koy. I would definitely mention him to anyone planning on visiting the island. He is an asset to his company. Again very knowledgeable of the history of Jamaica. Only wish we took a picture with him.
