This was an amazing tour. Seeing the pyramids was a once in a lifetime experience. The guides really brought the place to life for us. Highly recommend this tour. It was efficient as well. We spent 2-3 hours at the site, otherwise just took us there and back. No stopping anywhere to try and get you to purchase things. Highly recommend. Lots of walking on uneven ground, wear sunblock, cover up, and stay hydrated.

We went with our 10-year-old, 8-year-old, and 5-year-old. The ride up was kind of bumpy, but our our driver and tour guide were really friendly. When we got there, we changed into our swimwear immediately. We then spent time in the caves, moved to the river, and then finished at the pools. The only thing we didn't get to do was the zip line because where our van was would have taken a long time to get back. That was a little bit of a bummer. The 5 hours went by really fast. We did get something to eat and only pesos were accepted in cash form. No credit cards. You definitely need water shoes, and waterproof cases for phones. The beauty of the mountains, waterfalls, and the water in general is totally worth it. We all enjoyed our time.

Couldn’t have found a more qualified tour guide!

Picked up from our hotel on time. Drove to the pyramids. Our guide Fermin, has a PhD in archaeology! He is so knowledgeable, humble and easy to get along with. We learned so much from him! We also talked about sports, hockey mostly, and concerts and so much more. He took us to an off the beaten path obsidian workshop and a local restaurant without a tourist in site. Highly recommend Fermin!

This was overall a very fun, well-organized, and relaxing experience for our second-to-last day in Mexico.

This is the one!

This is the tour you want to take. No nonsense and quick direct transportation to and from the pyramids. Once at the site, Ivan and his colleagues were very well informed and guided the group expertly while keeping us in the know of our day, where to meet if we got lost, and the overall itinerary. The tour itself guided the group through the site itself, ensuring we would see things that we would've otherwise missed if we were dropped off at the entrance (as some tours do). The tour also starts at the pyramids of the moon and sun and ends at Gate 1 of the park where the bus was waiting for us, ensuring that we didn't have to backtrack under the hot sun to our ride back to the city. This itinerary also saves the more shaded/underground areas for when the sun is really hitting hard and the group's energy is starting to fade. And yes! NO TOURIST TRAP STOPS. Just remember to bring your own water and snacks or buy some at the restroom stop at the start of the tour before heading into the site. This is a very professionally run and respectful tour. Pick this one folks!

Colour and splendour

An amazing trip. Alan and Hector were wonderful, bilingual, guides, switching effortlessly between English and Spanish. They were kind and attentive throughout the day. The university visit was fascinating and then the trip to Cocoyan steadily paced so we reached the Frida Kahlo museum in good time. Casa Azul was a dream. Cocoyan was fabulous , just wish we had had longer there as I had to race round the market and barely saw the area after the museum. Xochimilco was special too. Obviously hugely busy and touristy but that doesn’t take away from the sheer joy of colourful boats, people offering food and drink on neighbouring boats, seeing mariachi bands & a tiny piglet as well as a heron & a man with a huge snake wrapped round his body. Wild. Highly recommend this trip.

Great Day Trip to San Pedro de Chulula and Puebla

While it's a long day, the visit to Cholula and Puebla was well worth the time. It gives you a chance to see some Unesco World Heritage areas including the Puebla Cathedral and the Church of Our Sister of Remedies (Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de los Remedios). We enjoyed the chance for a one day trip out of Mexico City to experience another city nearby and some beautiful attractions including the volcanoes in the distance.

Great trip! Guide was very knowledgeable and was able to communicate in both Espanol and English to the split tour. Driver was great and drove with care. Good experience at all 3 stops. Food stop was ok, lots of vendors at the artisanal shop and teotihuacan. But overall, learned a lot and had a great experience

Loved the air balloon...

Loved the air balloon experience, definitely the highlight for our Mexico City trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They will take your photos and record videos while you're on the air but they're not free. You have to pay extra if you want to keep them but you can bargain. Buffet breakfast was decent. The mescal tasting shop was not bad as they do provide some useful information but don't buy anything there. They overcharge you like 50% more of what it's worth. The guided tour at the pyramid was decent but it has room for improvement. I think they hired the certified guide for maybe 30 or 45 minutes (I couldn't tell how long but it was definitely timed) so our guide had to rush through it a bit to get it done within the time limit. Also, English is my second language and the guide's English was a bit hard for me to understand so I lost a bit of information there. That said, I'd still recommend the tour. It's beautiful to see all the balloons up on the air together.
