This was one of the highlights of our trip to Madeira! The half-day private island tour was the perfect way to experience so many of the island’s breathtaking viewpoints and beautiful landscapes without feeling rushed. Having a private tour made all the difference. We were able to explore at our own pace, spend extra time at the places we loved most, and enjoy a relaxed, stress-free day without being tied to a large group or strict schedule. Our guide, Luis, was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly, fun to talk to, and had an impressive knowledge of Madeira’s history, culture, and natural beauty. Every stop came with interesting stories and insights that made us appreciate the island even more. If you’re visiting Madeira and want an easy, enjoyable way to see the island while learning about its history and culture, I can’t recommend this tour enough. The scenery is spectacular, the experience is completely stress-free, and Luis made the day even more memorable. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madeira!

Fabulous day had with our guide and driver, Ben. Very knowledgeable and friendly and we both enjoyed our walk and the company of our group. The walk itself is set mostly through trees and does have many steps, both up and down. Finishing with a walk through a 800 metre tunnel. Highly recommended.

It was 2 days long comprehensive tour of the island. Tour guide Lionel is excellent and his driving skill was superb in navigating steep and curve to the peaks ( pico). He is humorous and kind to guests NB: The tour is not for young children as there is nothing to attract them, and would recommend Viatror set an age limited since that was not far for the children as well as fellow guests.

Really good day out and Tiago was an excellent tour guide. The trip is well worth it, some of the views were not able to be seen because of low cloud cover ... but you cannot control the weather. We also went into the volcanic pools ... it was raining but warm so we went in anyway. (you are already wet anyway!!!) Would recomend and no issues with the experience delivered.

Marco was awesome. He was knowledgeable, funny, courteous, engaging, and a wonderful spirit. We saw so many amazing views. Got to try pancha for the first time. It was truly lovely❣️ Met some great travelers and loved every minute of it. My only regret is that I had run out of euros during the trip, as I didn't plan ahead. I couldn't give Marco a tip. For this I'm sorry. Though my tip would be anyone booking this trip, I hope you get Marco!

We had three separate full day tours with Diogo and Ricardo who are brothers. They tailored our tours to meet our wishes. We wanted to have plenty of time to walk and experience the beauty of Madeira at our own pace. We wanted lunch in family-owned restaurants and no gift shops. They exceeded our expectations in every way. It was great to have a professional driver. Many of the secondary roads are steep, narrow and winding. It was very relaxing to sit back and enjoy the scenery while being chauffeured around. Another advantage of being in a small van was that we could get into places the buses couldn’t. All-in-all we could not think of a nicer way to experience the beauty of Madeira. We hope you enjoy their company as much as we did.

Our guide was interesting and lots of fun! We loved all the stops and wonderful photo ops. There was some confusion on the pickup however. We were told to look for a white van with a specific license number, and Lido on the side. After waiting way past the pickup time we finally heard someone call our name in a gray, unmarked van. We should have been notified of the change but weren't. I would double check the pickup the morning of the tour!

This was a great trip. Christian was an excellent guide. There were only 8 of us in the van. The van was small but comfortable even for tall people. We made many stops as shown on the itinerary. We got picked up around 9 am and were back around 6 pm. It was a long day but definitely worth it b
